Re-Overlord: I Can Acquire Anything!-Chapter 99: Return To ORCA
Chapter 99: Return To ORCA
"S-Sir, can I help you with something?" a nervous man asked, his voice trembling as he approached a young man cloaked in a dark hood.
The stranger didn’t look at him right away. His presence was heavy, almost suffocating. Finally, he spoke, voice calm yet cold.
"Have you seen a woman with angel wings? She also has black horns."
The man stiffened, eyes wide with fear. "Angels? No, sir. I haven’t seen anyone like that. Please forgive me."
He could feel the faint, unnatural pressure radiating from the young man’s body. It was enough to make his knees weak.
Igaris narrowed his eyes and looked up to the clouds.
"Where are you?" he whispered to himself.
Without another word, he spread his arms. A burst of wind surged around him as glowing wings of air formed at his back.
With a gust, he shot into the sky, soaring higher using [Gale Wings].
The man stumbled backward, eyes wide with horror.
"Monster!" he shouted, before turning and running as fast as he could.
--
Far away, Igaris stood atop a lonely mountain peak, tired and worn out.
He had searched. Tirelessly. Desperately. But time had slipped through his fingers like sand in a storm.
Only a few minutes remained before his departure from Ashvale.
Dawn crept across the sky once more. Golden light spread across the world below, soft and solemn. The final day of his dive had arrived.
He sat at the summit. The wind brushed against his face as he watched the sun rise with a heavy heart.
"Will I never see you again?" he whispered. His voice barely rose above the wind.
As the words left his lips, something shifted deep within him. A tremor stirred in his inner world.
His eyes sharpened. He focused inward.
And there she was.
Evernight lay peacefully in a field of soft grass. Her eyes were closed. Her breathing was steady, as if she were simply asleep.
Relief surged through his chest. But it was followed by a darker force.
Rage.
Her sudden return like this could only mean one thing.
Someone had killed her.
That thought struck him like a blade to the heart. Blood rushed to his head.
He clenched his fists. His body trembled. His teeth ground together as he muttered with quiet fury.
"Whoever you are, I will make you pay. A hundredfold. For hurting my Evernight."
His voice carried the weight of a vow. Each word sank into the air like iron.

Far away, someone who had stood in triumph just moments ago felt an unexpected chill crawl up their spine. It was as if something ancient and relentless had just taken notice of them.
"Strange!"
---
Inside a dim and shadowy environment, Igaris rubbed his eyes, feeling as though he had just awakened from a dream that stretched for ages.
"Where am I?" he muttered, his voice echoing softly against the cavern walls of the dark dungeon.
Suddenly, a chime sounded.
Ding!

As the messages appeared before his eyes, a flood of memories surged into his mind. Infinite Acquisition, the world of Ashvale, Evernight, and the promise he made to Isadora.
Everything clicked at once.
He was back inside the World Dungeon—the very place where it had all begun.
But this time, he wasn’t a cripple. He could move freely. His body responded without pain, without resistance.
Still, there was no time to celebrate.
"I need to get out of here immediately."
A surge of urgency shot through him.
If Adrian left the World Dungeon first and reported what had happened, Igaris would be branded a threat to be captured, or worse killed for his growing potential.
Without a second thought, he bolted. Sprinting toward the only source of light breaking through the darkness. He ran with everything he had.
"Hey, someone’s coming out!" a man shouted near the dungeon entrance.
"Yeah, but who is he? He looks kind of familiar," said another.
"Wait a minute... isn’t that the crippled young master from the fallen Vance House?"
The crowd turned, shocked by the name. Their eyes widened as they caught a brief glimpse of the figure emerging from the shadows.
"Yes, It really is him! And he walking! No, he is sprinting?"
The young man was already on the move, dashing with speed that defied belief. His body blurred like wind slicing through the air.
"Looks like the World Dungeon changed him."
"Mm hm.. Look at that speed. That’s insane."
"But why is he running like that?"
Some people murmured in confusion, watching his desperate pace.
"Where do you think you’re going, oh young master? You forgot to pay the exit fee," a guard sneered, stepping forward with a burst of energy to block his path.
Bang!
Without slowing even for a moment, Igaris crashed into the guard at full force. The impact sent the man flying, his body hitting the ground like a shattered doll.
"Dog," Igaris muttered, his voice cold as he vanished into the crowd before anyone could respond.
Silence fell.
The crowd, gathered to welcome new divers, stood stunned.
"What just happened?"
"Did a beginner diver really take down an Elite that easily?"
"He was in there for only 30 days. This shouldn’t be possible."
"How can you tell? Who knows what miracle he had done inside?" one chuckled.
One old man spoke quietly, eyes fixed on the distance.
"The winds of the Earth State are about to change."
Following the old man’s words, a tense wind swept through the gathering before the world Dungeon.
"...Forget him. Look, the other Divers are coming out as well," said a young man, trying to shift the crowd’s attention.
"Oh, yes. The Four Young Masters are alibe too! And they look strong and powerful!"
The atmosphere shifted again as the attention turned toward the emerging figures.
But something felt off about them. Their usual arrogance and confidence was gone.
Among them, Adrian’s eyes narrowed. His gaze swept across the crowd, scanning with rising irritation. He was searching for one face in particular — the one he despised more than anyone.
But after several seconds, he still couldn’t find him.
His brow twitched.
"Did that bastard die inside?"
