All eyes traced towards the group of 6 that had just entered the flamboyant hall.

A young girl of about 7 years old with black hair and large eyes adorned in a red wine dress that matched her cute figure and gave off a vibe of adorableness , rested on the shoulder of a young man with dark hair and pitch black cold callous eyes as she scanned the room with curious expressions.

The young man ,Kailen on whose shoulders Felicia was sitting ,boasted a white turtleneck , some blue jeans and some sneakers with his hands in his pockets , causally entering the hall with calm confident and steady strides.

The others were all clad in attires that fit the occasion perfectly, except Kailen of course.

Arrie was dressed in a velvet dress that accentuated her dainty figure perfectly. Her dress didn’t stand out too much, however it did much to reveal her otherworldly beauty. The young lady still had a gluetooth earpiece in her ear as she bobbed her head from time to time, not in the world bothered about the fact they were amidst influential ,powerful and famous person.

Angela was clad in a black dress that revealed her mature charm.

As for Micheal, he was the perfect gentleman, having opted for a suit that did little to hide his mature charm.

Phila had opted for a plain black dress with some simple yet beautiful designs in it. She looked the part of a quiet reserved beautiful wife , holding her husband’s hand.

" Why is he dressed like he’s taking a stroll in the park?"

" So you think he would care about what anyone cares?. He has the strength to dress however he wants even if it’s a gathering of the Hayes Family. What are they gonna do if they think he has offended them?"

This and many other conversations broke out ,however , there were quite a few people in the crowd who stared at Angela with bated breaths.

Some of them knew her real identity as the mysterious elder daughter of the Hayes family.

Others also knew her as Agent Velvet, the high ranked special ops military agent whose ruthless methods were quite known in the federation military .

" It’s been a while, Angela" Borngreat Tribiani was the first to approach Angela as he downed a the remains of the beverage in the glass.

Kailen simply nodded politely at the man’s words.

He didn’t give a crap about whether or not the man honored him. Everything he had done had simply been based on personal interest. It wasn’t to save the federation or anything.

However if people misinderstood him and thought he was being a patriotic citizen, they were free to think so.

Borngreat had no reason to think Kailen was being rude.

Kailen had the strength to back up his behavior.

Heck, his instincts as a soldier honed over the years hinted to him that the young man before him was very terrifying and boasted unfathomable strength which deeply shocked him . However he remained firm, stoic to be precise on the surface.

The man most likely attempted to rope Kailen into the military, a gesture the young man politely declined . He went on to greet the other members of Kailen’s group, squinting his eyes slightly when he saw Micheal and Phil. Arrie was already familiar with the man due to several friendly visits he had paid to the research department of the university and the cordial friendship he shared with her mother .

Everyone clearly noticed how he stared jealously at a corner of the room watching Helena Hall and Donalds acting all intimate .

Borngreat quietly nodded when Angela said there would be a meeting she’d like him to attend after the banquet, to which he nodded, raised his glass politely towards Kailen and left.

" I’m gonna check on my family " Angela voiced politely , to which Kailen and the group nodded.

" Doesn’t he have a wife?. Why is he jealous of them?" Phila shook her head with a chuckle ,watching Borngreat join his wife who was communicating with a couple of individuals , both men and women, somewhere in the hall.

" He had a crush on my mum way back. According to what I know, however she was hooked with Donalds at the time , so you know, guy lost his chance " Arrie whispered to the group ,causing their eyes to widen in surprise.

" Seems he’s still not over her" Kailen voiced, causing the others to nod.

Charles voiced, his expression fanatic as the eyes of the group naturally traced towards Angela and Butler Lee, having some sort of conversation. However it didn’t look like one ordinary friends would have, from their gestures.
