Kaiken’s eyes became golden when he heard money. It was not like Donalds would be paying him. He would have rejected the old man’s money if the payment was coming from Donalds’ pockets. The man would definitely marry Helena one day which meant the man was literally his future father in law . He had to be on the guy’s good side. Plus the man was someone Arrie had come to love,based on the interaction between Donalds and Arrie earlier.

However since the Federation government would be paying Kailen , there’s no way he’d act like a good Samaritan and tell them he didn’t need the money. Kailen was not a good Samaritan. He was selfish .

Kaiken didn’t really care about who the assistant potion hall master was.

However when he heard Helena had volunteered , he was quite intrigued.

Donalds widened his eyes in realisation " This young man is really not the kind hearted kind. Initially I thought he was gonna donate the potions to the general public. It turns out he was gonna sell them. I guess Helena’s guess was on point"

Kailen nodded " I’m gonna sell the potions specifically to those who will participate in the war at the boarder"

A greedy smile was on his face right now.
