Chapter 132: Perfect!

BOOM!

Inside its gaping maw, a terrifying Draconic Force shimmered like a vast starry sky—swirling with what looked like magical particles, or perhaps countless glowing orbs.

Dense.

Blinding.

Dazzling.

And radiating an energy so overwhelming, so terrifying, that any enemy would tremble before it.

"Sacred Realm!"

Shlkk!

In an instant, Seraphina’s Sacred Realm unfolded, locking Malphas in place, trapping him completely. He couldn’t move an inch. At the same time, the terrifying Draconic Force gathering in Seraphina’s mouth erupted—fast, violent, unstoppable!

Her innate ability—Venomous Dragon Breath!

"ROOOOAAARRR!!!!"

Seraphina let out a thunderous, earth-shaking dragon’s roar.

From her mouth, a massive pillar of dark green energy—so terrifying, so nightmarish—blasted forth, slamming directly into the Infernal Lord Malphas’s towering Efreet body...

BOOM!

A deafening explosion tore through the battlefield!

Malphas’s enormous form was sent hurtling backward, crashing into the ground with a force that shook the entire land. The sheer impact triggered a massive earthquake, shockwaves rippling outward in all directions. Even Ethan, who had been keeping his distance, felt the tremors reach him...

Gulp.

"...That’s insane..."

He swallowed hard, his face filled with sheer awe.

It wasn’t the first time he had seen Seraphina unleash her devastating power, leveling everything in her path. But no matter how many times he witnessed it, the sheer impact of it—the raw, overwhelming force—never failed to shake him to his core.

It was beyond comprehension.

Because if this kind of power existed in the real world... even nuclear weapons would pale in comparison.

And the craziest part?

Seraphina had just come of age.

She had just completed her first awakening.

In the world of Glory Lords X, hero units had several major milestones, and one of the most critical was Hero Awakening.

Every awakening was a leap forward—a transformation that skyrocketed a hero’s strength, pushing them to an entirely new level. The difference between a pre-awakening and post-awakening hero was like night and day, a complete shift in power.

And depending on their Tier, different hero units had different awakening limits.

Common (White) heroes and Rare (Blue) heroes only had one awakening—at Level 15, when they reached adulthood.

Epic (Purple) heroes and Legendary (Orange) heroes had two awakenings—first at Level 15, then again at Level 55.

Crimson Ultimate heroes were in a league of their own, with three awakenings—at Level 15, Level 55, and finally at Level 90.

To put it bluntly—any Crimson Ultimate hero who had undergone all three awakenings was an absolute, undisputed powerhouse in the world of Glory Lords X.

A super, super, SUPER boss-level existence.

Ridiculously powerful.

And if Seraphina ever reached that level...

The sheer godlike power she would wield—Ethan couldn’t even begin to imagine it. It was beyond comprehension.

Whoosh!

Suddenly, the air above them rippled—space itself trembled.

A massive, menacing scythe, gleaming with a terrifying cold light, tore through the void, slicing straight toward Seraphina!

CLANG!

The blade struck her back dead-on—

But... it didn’t even pierce her dragon scales.

Instead, the scythe’s edge skidded along the surface of her impenetrable scales, sending a shower of sparks flying in all directions—before finally bouncing off entirely!

At that moment, Ethan finally got a good look at the attacker.

It was none other than an Inferno Devil—a Tier 13 Legendary Unit from the Inferno faction!

Blood-red skin.

Armor as tough as steel.

A massive, exaggerated scythe, razor-sharp and deadly.

Its entire body engulfed in roaring Inferno Flames.

Curved, menacing demon horns.

And those cold, merciless, soulless eyes...

Honestly? Just based on looks alone, this Inferno Devil was badass as hell. If he could recruit units freely without consequences, Ethan wouldn’t mind having one of these monsters under his command.

Especially with that spatial movement ability—

That was insanely OP.

Seraphina and Malphas had barely started their fight, and this thing had already teleported back to reinforce its lord. That kind of speed and efficiency was just ridiculous!

"But... the Inferno Devil should still be affected by the Main World’s power suppression, right?" Ethan muttered to himself.

A moment later, the unit panel for the Inferno Devil appeared before his eyes.

[Inferno Devil]

Tier: 13

HP: 13,000

Attack: 91 (156)

Defense: 88 (120)

Damage: 241 ~ 316

"Yeah... if it weren’t for Malphas’s attack and defense buffs, this Inferno Devil wouldn’t be that much stronger than a regular Tier 12 Royal Unit."

"Plus, since it’s a melee-mage hybrid, Malphas’s buffs don’t even boost its stats that much..."

Melee-mage hybrids—warriors who trained in both close combat and magic—were a tricky class.

In theory, a perfectly balanced melee-mage could unleash the full potential of both paths, wielding unmatched power in both physical and magical combat.

But in reality?

That kind of god-tier class was extremely rare.

At the very least, a mere Legendary-tier hero—just an orange-ranked unit—would never have access to such a broken profession.

Which meant...

Most melee-mage hybrids were half-baked at best.

Mediocre in melee.

Mediocre in magic.

Jack of all trades, master of none.

And for those weaker than him, this kind of balance actually made him quite formidable—tricky, even downright troublesome to deal with. Because he had no obvious weaknesses, making him a tough opponent in every aspect.

But for someone stronger? He was just... average. Mediocre.

In fact, against a truly powerful opponent, his so-called "balance" could turn into a collection of weaknesses instead.

Take an Infernal Lord like Malphas, for example. To Seraphina, a hero of his type wasn’t even as much of a threat as a pure combat-focused SSS-tier Epic hero.

At least a pure combat SSS-tier Epic hero would have insanely high attack and defense stats, making them tanky and hard to take down.

But a melee mage-type hero? Their magic was their deadliest weapon. And in close-quarters combat, Seraphina could completely suppress their ability to cast spells.

Without magic, they were like a dragon with its wings clipped—still powerful, sure, but nowhere near their full strength.

And when the balance tipped like this? There was no chance of victory.

BOOM!

"ROAR!"

At that moment, Seraphina had had enough. Fury ignited in her eyes as she charged straight at the Inferno Devil that had just tried to ambush her.

RUMBLE!

A terrifying Draconic Force surged in her hands. At the same time, her Tier-3 Strategic Artifact—Hellcrusher Maul— materialized in her grip!

The moment the Hellcrusher Maul appeared, it fused with her Draconic Force, transforming into a swirling mass of deep green and violet-gold energy. Without hesitation, she swung it with devastating force!

BANG!

A single strike.

A hurricane erupted.

The ground shook.

Blood splattered.

The Inferno Devil was sent flying like a baseball hit by a home run, crashing into the earth with a sickening impact. It wasn’t dead, but its health bar was nearly wiped out.

WHOOSH!

And then—

From all directions, an overwhelming inferno erupted, engulfing the battlefield in a sea of flames.

A terrifying surge of magic exploded outward.

"Infernal Judgment!"

Malphas had seized the brief moment of delay to unleash his ultimate combat skill—his devastating spell, Infernal Judgment!

But—

The monstrous spell barely scratched Seraphina.

Her absurdly thick health bar barely even twitched. The damage was so insignificant it was almost laughable.

Malphas’ face twisted in shock. Impossible.

"What?! How can this be?!"

Seraphina smirked coldly. "Wow. You really don’t get it, do you? Using magic against me? What, were you trying to give me a little tickle?"

With a casual shift of her body, she vanished—then reappeared in an instant, tearing through the air at breakneck speed.

Draconic Force exploded around her, radiating an unstoppable, crushing presence.

Dragon Claw Strike.

"SPLURCH—!"

The sheer force. The devastating power.

Malphas barely had time to react before Seraphina’s dragon claws tore into him.

His massive body was ripped apart, his flesh seared by the flames of his own infernal essence. There was no blood—only roaring fire, twisting and writhing as he let out an agonized scream.

A scream so raw, so utterly tormented, that it sent chills through the battlefield.

So why exactly did Malphas’ Infernal Judgment have almost no effect on Seraphina?

Simple.

As a Green Dragon Hero, Seraphina possessed Magic Resistance—a natural immunity to magic!

Her innate abilities:

Magic Immunity (Negates all Tier 1–Tier 3 Magic. Tier 4 Magic damage is reduced by 50%.)

Sacred Realm (Within her domain, she gains unlimited health regeneration, instant teleportation, and free movement. Enemies inside the domain suffer -10% to attack, defense, and HP, and Tier 4 Magic damage is reduced by 30%. Current Domain Level: 1.)

Malphas, despite being an Infernal Lord and an Orange Legendary Hero, barely qualified as a Tier 4 Magic user with his Infernal Judgment spell.

But Seraphina had double-layered magic resistance.

After factoring in both of her abilities, the actual damage she took? At most, 35%.

And with the Main World’s planar suppression further weakening Malphas’ power, his spell was even less effective—practically useless.

It really was nothing more than a tickle.

A nightmare for any mage.

WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!

At that moment, from the distance, a wave of high-tier enemies surged forward—Tier 11 Efreet and Tier 12 Efreet Sultans, streaking through the sky like blazing comets.

Seeing this, Ethan’s eyes narrowed. He immediately shouted toward Seraphina, "Seraphina, finish him off—quickly!"

The moment the words left his mouth, he went all in.

Activating Holy Armament, he summoned Tier 12 Champion Knights and Tier 11 Unicorns, charging forward to intercept the incoming enemies.

There were nearly forty of them.

And they were all flying units.

But for Royal Unit-class Tier 11 Unicorns and Tier 12 Champion Knights? The sky wasn’t a limitation—it was their battlefield.

If anything, they ruled the skies.

BOOM!

The Unicorns soared upward, their horns crackling with divine lightning.

A blinding holy radiance erupted from their horns, forming a web of light and electricity that instantly ensnared five Tier 11 Efreet, dragging them down!

"CHARGE!"

"CHARGE!"

"CHARGE!"

The Champion Knights raised their lances, their weapons gleaming with divine power.

With a thunderous charge, they speared through the fallen Efreet, slaughtering two or three in an instant—unstoppable, relentless.

"Perfect!"

Since both the Champion Knights and Unicorns were under Seraphina’s command, they benefited from her insane attack and defense stat boosts.

And with the Main World’s planar suppression in effect, they could easily take on two or even three enemies of the same tier at once!

All they needed to do was buy time—just enough for Seraphina to finish off Malphas.

Once that happened, the battle would be over.

Victory was theirs.

At the same time, hearing Ethan’s shout, Seraphina’s eyes flashed with pure, unrestrained bloodlust.

"ROAR!"

Innate Skill—Rampage of the Green Dragon!

In an instant, Seraphina unleashed her full power.

She was done playing around.

This fight was ending now.
