Married For Now-Chapter 146: BABY TALK
Chapter 146: BABY TALK
SOHEE was already annoyed as hell after finding out that Lee Junsu wanted to turn into a Omega and get pregnant with Kim Heedo’s baby.
But he was even more annoyed when Kim Heedo confirmed the things that he already knew.
It was Lee Junsu’s plan to have me kidnapped by his crazy stalker so he could have Kim Heedo all to himself that day.
Apparently, Lee Junsu wanted to test if Kim Heedo still cared about him.
It was also Lee Junsu’s plan to clone Sohee’s phone.
I knew it!
And when Lee Junsu suddenly contacted Kim Heedo out of the blue?
That’s him planning to seduce my husband!
Lee Junsu was never innocent.
And that was why it was really confusing.
"Did Sanha-ssi tell you why Lee Junsu pushed you away when he still wanted you?" Sohee asked, confused. "He wouldn’t have to do all those nasty things if he didn’t break up with you in the first place."
Kim Heedo obviously hesitated before he answered. "Sanha didn’t give me the details, but he said Lee Junsu would have died if he didn’t break up with me back then. It was the vision that Shaman Crystal saw, apparently."
Right.
It’s also shocking to confirm that Shaman Crystal is really working with both Lee Junsu and Sanha-ssi.
"According to Shaman Crystal, Lee Junsu would have either died by my grandfather’s hands or would have killed himself had we stayed together back then," Kim Heedo explained. "It seems like Lee Junsu also believed that. Moreover, Sanha also said that you and I have to be together first before Lee Junsu could still your luck, Hyung. Apparently, had I turned you down because of Lee Junsu back then, Lee Junsu would die."
"That’s why Lee Junsu broke up with you even if he didn’t want to?"
"Yes, that’s what I assume, too. But that’s pretty confusing, huh?"
"No, not really. I think I’m starting to get it now," Sohee said while shaking his head. "Had you turned me down back then to be with Lee Junsu, I think your family would have continued getting hit by misfortune."
He hadn’t forgotten that all of the Kims, at the time, got into an accident.
Chairman Kim, Heedo’s grandfather, even had a brain tumor.
"That was probably why Shaman Crystal saw a future where your grandfather killed Lee Junsu..." Sohee trailed off, and then he gently slapped his mouth. "I’m sorry, Heedo-ya. I practically implied that your grandfather could commit murder if he wanted to."
"No need to apologize, Hyung. I agree with you anyway," Kim Heedo said, gently grabbing Sohee’s wrist to stop him from hitting his mouth. "If we were on the brink of losing everything we had, I wouldn’t put it past my grandfather to resort to murder. As you already know, my grandfather isn’t really a good person."
Whew.
Sohee was glad that Kim Heedo didn’t feel bad when he talked shit about Chairman Kim Hyungsik.
Maybe stating the truth wasn’t really considered talking shit behind someone’s back.
Anyway...
"Are we really going to leave Lee Junsu alone?"
"Sanha promised that he wouldn’t let Lee Junsu come near us," Kim Heedo said, sighing. "We can’t ignore Sanha’s threat. He’s from one of the most influential "mafia" in our country, so I know he was telling the truth when he said he has connections to the people who made the miracle pills."
And those people were being protected by the government.
Kim Heedo may be a chaebol, but if a group of wealthy people with connections to the government work together to bring Ilsung Group down, it might be possible.
Haaah.
It was frustrating, but what could Sohee do anyway?
It’s not like I can make Lee Junsu, uh, disappear.
"Hyung, I’m sorry for making a decision without consulting you first," Kim Heedo said, looking and sounding remorseful. "We’re married, so we’re supposed to figure out things together. And, yet, I went ahead and made a decision on my own."
"Well, it’s annoying that you did that. But I understand. In fact, you did the right thing when you accepted Sanha-ssi’s offer. I don’t want those crazy researchers to find out that you’re a Hyper-Dominant Alpha," Sohee said while shaking his head firmly. "It upsets me that we can’t make Lee Junsu pay for all the nasty stuff he put us through, but I guess Lee Junsu’s karma is Sanha-ssi."
"Lee Junsu’s karma is Sanha?" Kim Heedo asked, knitting his eyebrows as if he was confused. "How?"
"You really don’t know?"
His husband just shook his head.
"Heedo-ya, Sanha-ssi isn’t just a crazy bastard— I think he’s a complete lunatic. In fact, he seems worse than Song Sihyuk-ssi when it comes to being obsessive over their lover," Sohee said firmly, rubbing his arms when he got goosebumps after remembering the crazy things that Sanha did for Lee Junsu. "Actually, even if I hate Lee Junsu now, I still feel bad for him. He’s being manipulated by Sanha-ssi from the start."
"Ah."
"When Sanha-ssi said he wouldn’t let Lee Junsu come near us again, I bet it’s because he plans to lock up Lee Junsu. They’re already pretending to be on the brink of death. It wouldn’t be hard if he faked Lee Junsu’s death soon to keep him locked up."
"But Sanha-ssi said he wanted Lee Junsu to continue being an idol."
"He wanted, but he wouldn’t. Have you seen how Song Sihyuk-ssi reacted when Garam Hyung-nim hinted that he wanted to have a reunion with his old band mates? Sanha-ssi looks like he’s crazier than Song Sihyuk-ssi, so I don’t he would let Lee Junsu out now that he finally had a reason to keep him hidden."
"Oh."
"So, Heedo-ya. Let me ask you one thing."
"Yes, Hyung?"
"Do you want to save Lee Junsu from Sanha-ssi?"
"No," Kim Heedo said without missing a heartbeat while shaking his head. "We can’t punish him properly, so if Sanha-ssi is Lee Junsu’s bad karma, then so be it."
Sohee was relieved by Kim Heedo’s answer. "I thought you’d still want to save Lee Junsu from Sanha-ssi. After all, we both know that Lee Junsu is being locked up against his will."
"Lee Junsu is just paying for the consquences of his actions. He actually got a slap on the wrist. If we sued him, his reputation would have caused him his career. Well, he might still lose everything if Sanha decides to keep him hidden forever. But, at least, his fans wouldn’t end up hating him."
Oh, that made sense.
"Plus, we’re not the only people Lee Junsu has hurt," Kim Heedo reminded Sohee. "He’s behind Hong Sera’s "accident."
"Ah, right," Sohee said, sighing. "We owe Sera an apology for letting Lee Junsu off the hook easily."

CHO EUNTAK felt awkward when he saw Han Raehyun looking lifeless next to the elevator leading to the VIP Floor of the hospital.
There was also a guard there— a guard working for the Daesung Group.
Only people who were approved by the Hongs were allowed to take that elevator.
The Hongs booked the entire VIP Floor.
There were only five VIP Rooms there, but still, it was amazing that the hospital let the Hongs rent the entire floor when other high-profile patients existed.
Do they own this hospital? Should I look it up?
"Good day, sir."
Oh.
Cho Euntak smiled when the guard greeted him. "Hello, sir."
The guard just nodded, and then he pointed at the elevator. "Please come in."
"Hey, kid."
Cho Euntak turned to Han Raehyun who called him meekly. "Yes, Sunbae-nim?"
"Can you tell how Sera is?" Han Raehyun asked desperately. "Is she still in a coma?"
Aww.
The Hongs are really cold towards Raehyun Sungbin-nim.
Cho Euntak felt bad for Han Raehyun.
However...
"I’m sorry, Sunbae-nim. I signed an NDA, so I can’t tell you anything about Sera Noona."
Cho Euntak couldn’t stand seeing the devastation in Han Raehyun’s face because he felt bad, so he quickly bowed and entered the elevator.
The guard greeted him one last time before the doors closed.
He had to go through a checkpoint when he reached the VIP Floor. The guards looked at his bag carefully before letting him through.
And when he finally reached the VIP Room.
"Sera Noona, I’m here."
Hong Sera, who was texting on her phone when Cho Euntak arrived, lifted her head and smiled back at him. "Euntak-ah."
Yes, Hong Sera was already awake.

"SERA is awake," Sohee said, relieved after reading Hong Sera’s private message. "Thank goodness."
"Yeah," Kim Heedo said, letting out a relieved sigh while hugging Sohee tight. "Now I feel really bad that we’re letting Lee Junsu get away with his crime."
"I feel the same."
Right now, Sohee and Kim Heedo were cuddling each other on the bed.
They had many things they had to do— like visiting Hong Sera to beg for her forgiveness— but they still had something important to talk about.
"Hong Sera is like a sister to me, so I feel guilty that I chose to protect our peace even if Lee Junsu deserves to be in jail for almost killing her," Kim Heedo lamented. "I’ll understand it if she cuts us off."
"This may be thick-skinned of me to say, but Hong Sera is a good child. I don’t think she’d hold a grudge against us."
"I truly hope so. If Hong Sera forgives us, we should make it up to her for the rest of our lives."
"Of course."
A silent moment passed by.
And then Kim Heedo finally decided to address the elephant in the room.
"Hyung, should we try conceiving a child?"
Here it is.
"As I said before, I would love to have a child with you, Heedo-ya," Sohee said carefully. "But I don’t think it’s right to conceive a baby just to use them to secure my place in this family."
"I understand where you’re coming from, Hyung. But does it matter?"
Sohee lifted his head and looked at Kim Heedo’s face with knitted eyebrows. "What do you mean by that, Heedo-ya?"
"Even if we have an agenda for having our firstborn, I’m confident that we won’t raise them as if they were just a lucky charm," Kim Heedo explained gently. "Hyung, we both wanted to have a baby. We’re just having them early because of our situation. In the future, when our child is old enough, we’ll properly apologize to them. I’m sure they’ll understand. In fact, I believe they’ll take pride in knowing that they protected our marriage."
Pfft.
"What makes you say that so confidently, Heedo-ya?"
"Because you’re a good person, Hyung," Kim Heedo said softly. "So, I know you’ll raise our child with love and kindness. Of course, I’ll do my best to keep up with you. Hyung inspires me to become a person, after all."
Aww.
To be honest, Sohee was already half-convinced even before that talk.
I really want to have a baby with Heedo, after all.
He just didn’t one to conceive a child to save himself.
But, ultimately, he realized that if he chose to be stubborn, he could lose Kim Heedo to Lee Junsu.
He could live with it if he’d only lose the lifestyle he had now.
But I don’t want to lose my husband.
Sohee promised himself that he would love and care for his future baby the way he wasn’t loved and cared for by his mother.
I’ll give you a warm and happy childhood, my future baby.
With Kim Heedo, he knew it was possible.
"Hyung?"
"Heedo-ya, from now on, stop taking contraceptives," Sohee said, cupping Kim Heedo’s face between his hands. "Later, let’s ask your doctor if there’s a way to trigger my heat and your rut at the same time."
It would increase an Omega’s chance of getting pregnant if their heat cycle coincided with their Alpha’s rut.
"Hyung, thank you for making this difficult decision with me," Kim Heedo said, the relief obvious in his voice. "I promise to be a good husband and a good father. And I won’t make you regret building a family with me."
"That sounds like a wedding vow."
"I’ll propose to you again soon, Hyung."
"What for?"
"There’s something I want to ask of you later."
Sohee was about to ask what it was because he was curious.
But when Kim Heedo gently and carefully touched his nape, he already got his answer.
Oh.
Oh.
Sohee blushed when he realized what Kim Heedo might ask him later.
He’s probably going to ask me to bond with him.
