" You think she’d be okay with this" Helena asked her man, worried slightly .

" I’m sure you raised a fine ,matured and refined daughter " Donalds reaffirmed, caressing her pretty hands.

Helena bobbed her head , adding with a warm smile " Thanks Babe"

" Hello, if it isn’t my future son in law and my lovely daughter , and their lovely friends " Helena chuckled, beaming with a smile.

"Mum!. We are just friends!" Arrie’s response caused everyone to chuckle . Her bubbly demeanor had suddenly disappeared ,only to replace with a reddened cheek.

" Kailen, you have to take responsibility and ask this daughter of mine out, as a man, you cannot keep leading a lady on, you have to take responsibility " Helena further added, feigning a serious disposition.

" Way ahead of you ma"am" Micheal chuckled, winking at Kailen and slapping his shoulder .

Surprisingly Kailen did not react with reddened cheeks like he usually would .

" Thanks for the pep talk everyone, I like Arrie , I agree with your reasoning" He beamed with a warm confident smile, his words causing his group of friends to gasp in shock, only to break into laughter.

Arrie however further reddened at Kailen’s words. Only she knew the kind of thoughts she was having at this point.

As for Kailen, he had accepted his feelings for Arrie. He may have been inexperienced when it came to romantic relationships, however he was not an immature person who couldn’t accept how he felt about Arrie, the person he literally owed his life, had talked him out of a life of insecurity and pain ,and literally not only trusted the most at this point, but had developed deep romantic feelings for. He was tired of acting shy and all.

That was not how he did his things . Either he went for what he wanted or didn’t venture .

" Good good. It’s good to be young " Donalds chuckled, causing everyone to have a good impression of him.

As for Phila and Felicia ,they observed everything with intrigue on their faces.

" So you guys a couple?" Arrie finally asked the question everyone at the hall had been seeking a confirmation to .

" Yeah, we are" Helena nodded ,then whispered into her daughter’s ear "Are you okay with it?"

" I am mum, I’m happy for you. Just tell him that if he cheats on you again, I’ll have Kailen destroy him" Helena’s eyes widened at her daughter’s words , then she chuckled .

She pushed her daughter into her embrace " Thank you sweetheart . Thank you for supporting my decision. It means the whole world to me "

" Anything for you mum" Arrie replied softly , the daughter and mother finally separating from their hug .

" Thank you Arrie" Donalds’ voice was full of gratitude towards the young lady. She had handled this maturely.

Arrie responded ,her demeanor bubbly " You’re welcome old man, come closer"

The old man came closer to Arrie, bending slightly.

She reached towards his ear " She likes to be pampered . Also if you cheat on her again, I’ll have Kailen end you"

Donalds eyes widened ,then he bobbed his head warmly .

" You have nothing to worry about " He earned a thumbs up from Arrie. The couple turned, returning to their previous activities.

The banquet went on as usual. The usual occasion of the birthday person giving a speech of some sort occured. People feasted, chatted and danced.

Many people approached Kailen, introducing themselves with various offers. However his cold demeanor caused them to scurry away as quickly as they approached him

" So about what you said earl-" Just when Arrie was in the middle of speaking, a couple scurried towards Kailen with a young man wrapped up in bandages accompanied by a young lady.

Arrie paused, observing everything with intrigue

" Jazz,the Ashen club president, what’s he doing here?" Kailen recognized the gentleman alongside one of the ladies whose credits he had plundered that day .

Arrie inwardly asked herself the same thing.

The man, his son wrapped in bandages , wife and the young lady fell on their knees before Kailen.

This dramatic scene caused all eyes to travel towards their location.

" Ho, looks like I was on point when I said this gathering will be interesting, this guy is gonna cause some commotion again isn’t it"

Charles mused inwardly ,his eyes revealing a wild glint .

Others had gathered around them, curious about what the whole drama was about.

The four people kept hitting their heads on the floor , their voices trembling in fear .

" What is this guy talking about? This guy literally hired assasins to kill me just because I plundered a few student credits? Also he’s misunderstanding things . I know nothing about this so called assassination plot.
