Helena doubted him.

" He’s telling the truth" Kailen interrupted.

" How do you know-"

He turned to look at at Charles and Jane.

Charles knew there was no way Kailen would lie to him.

However this was not the time to be soft.

He had to be strong for his mother. He was the man here. No matter the thoughts running through his head, he couldn’t appear weak.

Quickly, he hugged Jane who was weeping and had broken down.

Reynolds sighed, a deep glint of pain and bewilderment flickering through his eyes.

Kailen added " Besides, what good would it do me to advocate the lie of someone who was responsible for killing my parents?"

Kailen was right.

He didn’t have any reason to defend Xandros.

For one, he was one of the people who had every right to not believe Xandros’ words.

But here he was, saying Xandros was being honest.

" I did some research into his personal life as I plotted my revenge. Helena ,when you get to my base with the coordinates I gave you , you’ll find the prove to whatever I’m saying there " Xandros spat annoyingly then added "It wouldn’t hurt to drag his name further in the mud. Everyone stared at Kailen.

Since he seemed to have a way to tell whether or not people was lying, they were waiting for him to confirm Xandros’ words.

" He’s not lying" Kailen sighed. " In sorry Charles and Jane. Whether or not you want to publicize the truth after finding the evidence is up to you"

" Publicize it " She spoke as she wept " If you find evidence publicize it. To think I married a monster. How is my son and I gonna live through this !"

" Mum, we are in this together " Charles voiced , with melancholy.

Everyone else nodded.

" Mum , are you really sure you’d want the evidence to be publicized?"

" If I were in the shoes of those ladies he raped and killed, I’d want justice . Look at how that guy turned out!" She turned to look at Xandros .

" What if there are family members of the victims he killed out there on a similar path Arkon Xandros embarked on? Revealing the truth is the only way to appease them"

Silence ensued at the palace for a few seconds .

No one disagreed with her.

There were massive ice sculptures of diabolic beasts in the environs and several kilometers apart.

It was obvious that any diabolic beasts that came into contact with the shadow creature literally met a pitiful end.

Suddenly he dissapeared , finding himself standing before Helena and others comforting Jane, Reynolds and Charles.
