The people of the Steppe and the people of the mountains, people of the forest and people of other grasslands and deserts in a way are like brothers

The Franks on the Lower Rhine whose name mean Free Men.

These were loose confederation of similar tribes rather than unitary kingdoms but in time of battle, they would combine for the specific purpose of attacking the Roma Empire

But these are alarming development. It would not be long before they would also unite with each other

They were also the Vandals and Sarmatians, the Goths, the Juthungi.

These are the wolves.

And these wolves are all looking at Roma like it is about to attack the lion. The lions are full of wound, the roar is nothing but a bluff

Wolves are a patient predator. It will wait and when the opportune moment come, then...it will pounce and it will tear apart the lion.

Seeing this, Ashana Angah could see what would happen

Yan is in decline, Roma is in crisis, Yindu is in a state of unification and the Western Zhou fortunes how’s that when the wise monarch of Western Zhou dies, the phyton that symbolizes Western Zhou fortune would also decline.

As for the danger, he expected that the danger would come from Yan dynasty.

That is the only thing that would allow the Will of the Steppe to regain strength. Someone is trying to unite the Steppe.

And once it is united, all the fragmented wisp of the Will of the Great Steppe would concentrate into one person.

This one person would carry the hopes, wishes and dreams of the great Steppe.

Ashana Angah had seen a few people in the Steppe that has a wisp of the Will of the Steppe favour. He sees it in the Vihur tribe chief.

He sees it in some strong warriors. And he see sit in many people

Some he sees it in a pregnant woman.

That woman must be bearing a son favoured by the Steppe.

Does this mean that all of them are unifiers? Great men that is bestowed favour by heaven and earth and would become outstanding?

No, it was a desperate attempt by the Will of the Steppe for survival

And Ashana Angah who could see the Will of the Land could see this clearly than the other.

The will of the Steppe is dying and so it splits itself all over the land, trying to give its blessing so that one of them could unify the Steppe, and unite the hearts of people of this land.

But most that have this blessing, separate their rule, become a ruler and act like kings on small spot of the great Steppe.

None of them is thinking to unify the Great Steppe and inherit a great cause of unification. The Will of the Great Steppe is born during the unification of the Steppe.

During the age of the Steppe Empires. Hence, the Will of the Steppe yearns for unification. Every Will of the land is different.

A small Will of Land that has its own will would want independence and dissolving.

For example, before the Will of the Steppe become the main will of the land, there is the will of the tribes. Each tribe rules one part of the steppe and it is not until the rulers of the ancient Steppe empire united them all, that these disparate, different Will gathered under one banner.

And that banner crystallises the Will of the great Steppe into one Will. Not a hundred and thousands of wills like before the Steppe empire.

But when the Empire falls, because of the impact and the hearts of the people, the Will of the Great Steppe did not crumble instantly.

Since there is always someone that wanted to emulate the emperors of the Steppe empire, the Will was kept alive.

But now, hundreds and thousands of years since then, especially the past few hundred years where the empires around them keep making them to dissolve and pitted them against each other, the Will of the Great Steppe has become weaker as time passes by.

And every chief cares more about leaving a legacy for their children than to try to do something big.

No longer anyone has big ambition to unify the Steppe.

Because it became too hard.

And because they think it is impossible.

But since Aeryon came, that impossible thing is now being challenged.

The Will of the Great Steppe rises again.

That is the best confirmation. The wolf in repose is awakening again

And tonight, the wolf that represent the fortune and luck of the steppe suddenly rises again. It burst with great vitality and hope once again blossomed in Ashana Angah heart.
