Top Assassins Call Me The Lady Boss-Chapter 95: “Found the mole and you wouldn’t believe who he is”
Chapter 95: “Found the mole and you wouldn’t believe who he is”
Chapter Ninety-Five
The woman shook her head and walked into the kitchen, leaving the two boys to ponder on the conversation. It had not ended the way they thought it would. How did they even think it was going to end?
Ahmet’s mother had never liked the life of a Mafia. Yet she married one. Though she didn’t fight or kill, she was surrounded by loved ones who did that.
"Is she aware Asli is the same Lisa she loves so much?" Markus asked his tone in a hushed message.
Ahmet stared at the ground for a long moment before speaking. Silently weighing what his response should be.
"I doubt that. Let it be, man. Asli and I would not be anything more than what we are." When he finally did, his voice barely rose above a whisper, each word dropping like a stone. He didn’t look up, just twisted the edge of his sleeve between his fingers, as if holding himself together.
"You sound sad." Markus was not teasing. He was genuinely worried for him. Or maybe curious.
"Whatever." He said, dismissively. He didn’t know why it bothered him in the first place. At first, he was not angry when she told him they shouldn’t put a label on their relationship. He was used to having flings. But then... now, thinking about it, he did not like that idea.
The idea of her being with another man. The idea of himself being with another woman. Asli wasn’t the type to indulge any man. No. She was a lone wolf. Or maybe not...
Something was wrong somewhere. Where was this feeling coming from?
Maybe it was because at first, there was no childhood crush lingering somewhere like there was now.

Demir was waiting for her in her hall when she returned.
Angry.
Her glare held for a beat longer—then cracked.
"Who stole my smile from your face?" He asked with a sheepish smile that Asli could not help but return. Her glare had held for a beat longer before it cracked.
"I had an operation." She informed him.
"And I’m guessing it didn’t go well... Now that is a first." He voiced out while holding his chin as if thinking.
She laughed. "Yeah, that’s a first. But, it wasn’t entirely bad. I acted on my emotions."
"I heard what happened this morning. I learned you’ve given a directive for Markus to train her."
"Yes. He’s not as skillful as anyone here but he knows the basics." Asli told him, as she recalled the night she fought him under the disguise of the midnight Reaper. Markus was not a bad fighter. Though he wouldn’t be able to beat anyone she had trained.
"Alright then. I’ll leave you to rest. I need to check something out before going to bed." Demir told her and began to walk past her.
"Does it involve some fights? If yes, hell yeah. We should go together." Asli’s mood began to lighten up and he scoffed.
"I’ll forward the details to you then." He said as he waved to her. "See you in an hour."
"Sure," she said behind him.
Asli searched for Markus but did not find him. Had he left for his Villa or was he somewhere doing whatever it was that pleased him?
If he despised his home so much, why was he always going back? Did he have a woman or child there? She chuckled. As if he looked normal to have a kid in the first place.
She took out her phone to call him. He picked up immediately. "Where are you?"
"In some woman’s bed," he responded. Asli sighed.
"I didn’t have to know that information."
"But you asked." He accused.
"Imbecile!"
"Awww the boss Lady is jealous."
"You wish. You are to train Matilda from tomorrow."
"Who?" He asked. Did he not hear her?
"Matilda. Don’t tell me your ears are not even sharp." Asli was contemplating whether she made the right decision to have him train the young girl.
"I heard you for the first time you mentioned her name. I just wanted to be sure you didn’t mean somebody else. Why should I train her?" He asked, his emphasis on the ’I’ and ’her’
"Because you are the only one incapable in here." She told him point blank.
"Oh but Asli, what if you are wrong?" His tone was teasing and so she didn’t bother to take him seriously.
"Hah! If you can fight better than any of my men then I will grant you one wish." She knew that would never happen.
"I will hold you to that. Don’t ever forget." His tone was still playful. There was no way she would take him seriously.
"Does she even know how to fire a gun at least?"
"She’s not going to fire one. Just teach her self defense."
"Copy that boss. If that is all, I have a woman waiting for me. I refuse to be lonely like some people. Unfortunately, not all of us are keeping ourselves for our special one." Markus said and hung up quickly as if trying to avoid her reply.
She scoffed. Did he think she didn’t have someone too? The audacity Markus had to directly tell her she was lonely.
Just then, Asli’s phone rang. She checked the caller ID and noticed it was one of her unregistered men. She picked up immediately.
"What is it?" She might not have realized it yet but no matter how serious her tone was when talking with Markus, it was never as deadly as compared to how she spoke with her men.
"Boss. Do you remember the gun spree that happened months ago? Where you asked me to find out which of our men had double tattoos?"
Asli listened attentively. She had almost forgotten about that. Damn you, Ahmet.
Why was she blaming him?
"We didn’t think we would ever find out the truth until one of our men working in your father’s suite noticed an unfamiliar face. He had our tattoo but looked a little different. We have had someone sketch the face. I’ll share the photo with you immediately after the call. Cole..." Before the informant could continue, gunshots were heard and the line dropped dead.
Asli could tell what happened. Her informant was caught and killed. What was her father hiding? Why didn’t he want her to know what those men were about? Luckily her informant told her the guy with the tattoo visited her father.
However, why did he mention Cole’s name? Was he the spy her father had sent to monitor her?
Her face contoured into an angry look. Of all her men, she trusted Cole the most. He was her right hand man. If Cole was a traitor to her, how come he hadn’t told her father about her having unregistered men?
Cole was four years older than she was and was brought to the Villa when he was nineteen. Though he was older, he wasn’t used to the Mafia world. He was as scared as she was when she was six.
She nurtured him into the profession he was in. He owed her his life and what did he do? Stab her in her back? She could not believe he was a spy for her father.
Oh, she was doomed. Cole knew every operation she had done without her father’s knowledge. He knew she was the midnight Reaper, something she thought her father didn’t know about.
No, if her father knew, she would not have still been alive. Who was Cole’s Master, then? Was he working for any of her uncles?
She took out her phone and dialed one of her men’s numbers. Damn it! If Cole could betray her, then anyone could.
"Capture Cole and prepare the torture room," she yelled into the phone and hung up to prepare for her interrogation.
She heard the other person on the phone choke on his saliva as he tried to call her. "Boss..."
"Now!" she needed to do this before she began to think about how much Cole meant a lot to her.
Fck these emotions.
She loaded her gun as she left the training room.
Her heels struck the cold cement floor as she stormed down the dark hallway. Fury coiled inside her, tightening her stomach with every step. The air was thick with the scent of sweat, blood, and fear.
She had given him everything. Loyalty. Trust. And a place by her side. And he was the mole in her group? How did she never suspect him? How was he so careful?
She did not want to believe it. She could not believe it. But doubt was a poison, and it had already seeped into her veins. She would never trust anyone again.
She stopped before the heavy door in front of her. She pushed it open with force, the metal groaning on its hinges.
And there he was.

Do you think Cole could be the Mole? If yes, why is Asli still alive then?
