The World Conquest: Giving Birth To Become A God-Chapter 777: Top 2 Architectural Wonder
"The top architectural wonder… it was beyond anything we could reach." Pandora sighed, explaining the names of the two greatest architectural wonders to Maximus.
The Number Two Architectural Wonder: the Plane Armageddon, a dimensional battleship they built under immense pressure during the eruption of the first Dark Disaster.
It contained the combined effort, resources, and will of everyone in the Aeon Plane.
It was their hope. The final straw that saved them from total annihilation.
The Plane Armageddon could be considered the strongest artificial creation in the Aeon Plane, capable of fighting a Tier 13 Dark Beast head-on.
Unfortunately, during the first Dark Disaster, after repelling the Tier 13 dark beast, it hibernated, disappearing before everyone's eyes.
Among the living, only a few Absolutes and the Overlords even knew of its existence.
"Do you know where this Plane Armageddon is?" Maximus asked curiously.
There was no doubt this dimensional battleship was a pseudo Tier 13 architecture.
Even if he couldn't get his hands on it, just accessing its data would be a huge breakthrough for his projects.
Especially for the Dark Plane Blaster and the Void Outpost. Having this battleship as a reference would be an enormous help.
"It's situated in the Atrium of Law, recharging its energy. According to the treaty, unless another Tier 13 Dark Beast appears, it must never be moved," Pandora explained.
"Can I see it?"
"Impossible. It's guarded by the Entities of Law. Even my master wasn't able to study it," Pandora sighed.
With Frir's obsession with knowledge, how could he not have wanted to get his hands on the Plane Armageddon?
Unfortunately, due to the treaty, not even the Overlords were allowed near the battleship.
"That's a pity… Did Frir have any data on the battleship?" Maximus asked, still holding a sliver of hope.
"There should be a little."
"A little? What's the problem?"
"The Overlords didn't contribute much to building the battleship. Most of the real work was done by the Absolutes and the Masters of the Ocean of Law. Sadly, most of them died in that war."
Before the Dark Disaster, it was the Aeon Plane's most prosperous era.
Although there were only a few Overlords, there were tens of thousands of Absolutes, and millions of Masters of the Ocean of Law.
Even though knowledge wasn't freely shared, Tier 12 professionals emerged like clouds.
Unfortunately, the Dark Disaster destroyed everything.
It didn't just kill powerhouses with limitless potential; it also buried the knowledge they carried.
To be killed by Dark Energy was a true end. No method, skill, or treasure could bring them back.
Even their memories were erased, destroyed into nothingness without a trace.
After such massive losses, although they managed to repel the Dark Beast temporarily, the Overlords began to revolt.
They abandoned their contracts with the Entities of Law, cutting off their connection, chaining them to the Aeon Plane.
Instead of continuing to cultivate, they turned to conquest, preparing for their inevitable escape.
Although they left some backups for the Aeon Plane, like the Dark Void Domain and the pseudo Tier 13 Barrier Array, it was nothing compared to what they took with them.
As proof, of the top ten architectural wonders, each Overlord occupied a place.
From Frir's Top 3: Space-Time Lab, Ascelon's Top 4: Ruler's Throne, Lazo's Top 5: Inner Beast Sanctuary, Elvian's Top 7: Virtual Paradise City, Nyx's Top 9: Abyss Heart, to Sira's Top 10: Zerg Hive...
Besides the Top 1, 2, 6, and 8 Architectural Wonders, all were monopolized by the Overlords.
As a result of the Overlords' involution, the Aeon Plane had been in a state of perpetual decline.
Besides a few scattered families and organizations supported by the Overlords to manage what remained, there was almost nothing left.
Hearing the story, Maximus couldn't help but sigh.
"This plane had it rough. After surviving the corruption of outside forces, it was looted by the bandits it raised."
"That's the nature of the world. Even the Entities of Law, though they hated the Overlords, turned a blind eye and acquiesced to their action."
"Indeed. Faced with inevitable disaster, it's a natural response," Maximus nodded.
Though he pitied the Aeon Plane, he didn't blame the Overlords.
When facing certain destruction, wasn't it normal to pack up and escape?
Perhaps it was cowardly, but self-preservation was a primal instinct burned into every being from birth.
Even Maximus himself, if left with no choice, would escape with his family and territory, leaving everything else behind.
"I'm glad you understand…" Pandora smiled, relieved that Maximus didn't condemn her master and the others.
Although they dug the roots of the Aeon Plane, once the disaster came, it might be the last hope that could preserve its fire in another form.
"I understand, but once we survive this Dark Disaster, I'll be charging them interest." Maximus thought, already scheming how to extort those Overlords.
How dare they harvest the Aeon Plane without giving him a share?
It seemed the ultimate treasures and materials they'd given him were only a small fraction of their wealth.
"You're too evil!" Pandora rolled her eyes, catching the evil look in his eyes.
"Anyway, tell me what's the number one Architectural Wonder of the Aeon Plane? Since the Plane Armageddon is the strongest artificial structure, is the number one innate architecture?"
"Indeed. The number one Architectural Wonder is an innate structure born with the Aeon Plane itself."
"Innate structure? I see. That makes sense…"
To be called an Architectural Wonder, a structure had to be a livable and functional facility, building, land, space, or treasure.
More importantly, it had to resonate on the same frequency as the Aeon Plane. Only then could it be recognized as a true architectural wonder.
This resonance was the basis for how they rank each architectural wonder.
The closer it resonated with the Aeon Plane, the higher it ranked.
So, whether it was powerful, indestructible, or full of mysterious functions, if it lacked that deep resonance, it would not even be called an architectural wonder.
For example, the Void Outpost Maximus created to fight against dark disaster, while it could one-shot a Tier 12 dark beast, it wasn't an architectural wonder.
After all, while powerful, it relied on the Dark Plane Blaster and Maximus's energy to function. Its strength didn't come from its structure alone.
As Pandora continued to talk about the number one architectural wonder, an enlightenment passed through his eyes.
