The Seventh Base-Chapter 631 - 55: The Appeal of Being Kept_3
Especially a power like Locke Mechanical Group would hardly stand down without a fight.
"I’ll go out in your Battle Armor," Ye Huan said to Xu Mo.
"Drawing the snake out of its hole?" Xu Mo thought for a moment, then nodded, "Okay."
A moment later, Ye Huan had put on Xu Mo’s Battle Armor and left the area.
Once in the Battle Armor, the difference in their builds was nearly negligible, and there was only a slight difference in height. Unless someone observed very closely, it was difficult to distinguish any difference.
Shortly after Ye Huan left, a battle erupted outside. Someone was attempting to directly abduct Xu Mo, but encountered Ye Huan instead.
At Blue Star Energy Technology Group, people were successively flying out to provide support.
In a region of the Mechanical Kingdom, a great mechanical war was breaking out. Funnily, the bystanders far from the conflict not only did not leave, but were actually excited. On the eve of Lune Festival, they had not expected to encounter a great battle outside of the Arena. ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com
Xu Mo did not go outside until Zero arrived piloting a Flying Device, at which point Xu Mo boarded the craft.
He found that apart from Zero, Qiong was there too, sitting at the front of the Flying Device.
"Master Qiong," Xu Mo called out. The Flying Device took off, streaking across the sky above Mechanical God Arena.
Above the Mechanical God Arena was busy airspace, filled with Flying Devices coming and going. In the distance, several Flying Devices were trained on the one Xu Mo had left in, tracking it closely. Clearly, some were not fooled and realized that the one who had departed was the real Hunter.
"Hum..."
The Flying Device rapidly exited the area, gliding over the Lucas Star Capital, weaving through clusters of buildings. The Flying Devices following behind maintained a certain distance and communicated with each other.
"It’s the Royal Knights," Qiong mentioned from the co-pilot’s seat.
Xu Mo was startled. It was the members of the Royal Knights that had not been shaken off.
This was going to be somewhat tricky to handle.
Behind them, several Flying Devices from the Royal Knights had locked onto the one up ahead.
"Why don’t we directly intercept?" one of them asked, puzzled.
"This mission is not public," came the reply from someone in another Flying Device.
"Let’s finish the mission early and go back for the festival," the person inside grumbled. But just then, their screens suddenly flickered and made hissing noises.
"What’s happening?" The color drained from the face of the person flying the craft.
"The Flying Device is experiencing energy interference," he stated, but there was no response. The hissing sound grew louder, and the Flying Device began to veer out of his control.
His face contorted in panic, he saw another Flying Device heading straight for him.
"Bang!"
Before he could react, the two Flying Devices collided in mid-air, exploding instantly and causing the surrounding Flying Devices to scatter.
The remaining Flying Device, with its inside Royal Knight looking extremely troubled, had a Source Power Level of S. He tried to open the hatch, but found it wouldn’t budge.
"Boom..." With a ferocious punch, he smashed open the door, and raging energy blasted it apart. The Flying Device, meanwhile, was hurtling towards a building.
Just as he was about to jump out, a face suddenly appeared in his mind, magnified inside his head. At this moment, the heart of the S-Class Transcendent was filled with intense terror.
Was this...
"Boom!" The Flying Device crashed into a building and exploded instantaneously. The S-Class Transcendent did not use an energy shield, and perished in the explosion!
