The No.1 Anti-Fans in Basketball-Chapter 83 - 81 [Giant Slayer] (Two in One)_3
Chapter 83: Chapter 81 [Giant Slayer] (Two in One)_3
He doubted it would come as quickly as the "Wave Riding Skill" did, since he hadn’t been practicing his jump shot for long.
But as long as he could train to a bottleneck before the season ended, it would be fine, since the playoffs were the real stage for targeted performance.
He then went to check out Swift’s Facebook to see how her fans were reacting to the situation.
To not look would have been better, because after he saw the comments, he fell into deep thought.
He had thought he’d see mostly jokes, only to find the page filled with abuse directed at Swift.
"Just broke up with John Mayer, right? And now you’ve already moved on to a new boyfriend in just a few days? What, ran out of inspiration and need someone new to mess with?"
"Last December she hadn’t even broken up with Taylor Lautner yet when she got together with John Mayer, you can forgive her for that, at least she didn’t cheat this time."
"She pretends to be a BMW 3 series but she’s really just a bus, and now she’s messing with Asians too, really playing the field, huh, sis?"
"Don’t you know she is a lofty Caucasian? How could she ever measure up to Beyonce? She isn’t even fit to carry her shoes!"
"This is the tragedy of the entertainment industry in the United States, white is always right; equality will never exist!"
Hansen thought that, with Swift being so popular, she would have a lot of fans by now, but it turned out she probably had no fewer haters than he did.
This made Hansen feel somewhat responsible, as the backlash Swift was facing was sparked by him.
He then decided to get active with his 58 fake accounts, humming the tune of "Against the War" as he engaged these critics in a spirited battle.
At that moment, he was like a one-man army.
But even after his fingers were sore from all the tapping, he realized that his 116 punches were still no match for the vast number of haters, Hansen switched back to his main account and posted two statuses:
"Had a delightful date with Taylor Swift. She’s like a blank sheet of paper, and I couldn’t grasp the pen to paint her life, hoping she finds that person soon." freewёbn૦νeɭ.com
"For those unlucky in love, let’s shift our focus to the sports field, and witness the legendary journey of No. 77 at the All-Star game."
...
As the All-Star game approached, Hansen set off for Dallas.
This time Thomas would join him as he needed to attend some promotional events for sponsors during the All-Star Weekend, requiring Thomas’s coordination.
And it wasn’t just him; Bosh and Wade would be there too.
In the end, Conningham also joined Hansen on the trip to Dallas.
For this All-Star game, Hansen was originally scheduled to participate in the Rookie Challenge, the Three-Point Contest, and the main game.
However, to avoid further fatigue, he decided to skip the Rookie Challenge.
After some deliberation, the league substituted Conningham for it.
Though Conningham’s stats weren’t very eye-catching, he at least was a starter for the Cavaliers.
Once in Dallas, Hansen joined Wade and Bosh for the sponsor’s promotional activities, while Conningham started training with the Freshman Team.
Hansen didn’t need to worry about security, as event promos always came with standard security personnel.
Even if his life wasn’t worth much, Wade and Bosh were top-tier stars in the League.
After the event, the group ate and rested in a private room arranged by the sponsors.
They talked about the activities, the All-Star game, and the season.
Right now, the three of them represented completely different scenarios: Hansen was in a championship-contending team, Wade in a playoff team, and Bosh pushing his team towards the playoffs.
This naturally formed an envious feedback loop.
Bosh envied Wade for consistently making the playoffs, knowing he’d played for seven years and only been in the playoffs twice;
Wade was somewhat envious of Hansen; although he had won the championship in 2006, the officiating was controversial, and he wanted to win another championship to affirm himself, but the Heat team had been mediocre in recent years;
Hansen expressed his envy towards Bosh, as he initially wanted to be drafted by a fringe playoff team.
"Just as you were discussing this, if none of you reach your expectations this season, you might explore the feasibility of playing together this summer," Thomas suddenly interrupted.
His remark silenced them momentarily, then they all turned to look at each other.
All three, including Hansen, respected Thomas, a 24/7 available agent with extensive connections and attention to detail.
Wade and Bosh exchanged glances; this summer, their player options were all up for grabs.
Hansen’s mind wandered as he stroked his chin.
Was this... agent basketball?
You know, it did sound quite entertaining.
Firstly, he wasn’t a James-hater.
But if he could replace James in the Heat team with Wade and Bosh, and then go on to win the championship, wouldn’t it be like conducting a comparative experiment?
Compared to James, he could better spread the floor; Bosh wouldn’t need to work on his three-pointers, and with the Heat, the offensive end would integrate outside shooting, penetrating, and post play.
Defensively, Wade wouldn’t need to cover for James; instead, he could help cover Wade, reducing Wade’s physical exhaustion.
If they not only won the championship but also built a dynasty, it would be more than interesting, it would be exhilarating.
It was nice to imagine, but his biggest difference from Wade and Bosh was that he wasn’t a free agent.
"If you’re willing to come to Cleveland, I think it’s feasible," Hansen said, breaking the silence with a smile.
Wade and Bosh chuckled.
Who would willingly go to a godforsaken place like Cleveland unless drafted?
Of course, more importantly, wasn’t James still there?
If they went, what would happen to James?
They couldn’t just oust the King from his own palace!
The conversation fizzled out, but the potential synergy of the trio might still be witnessed in the main game.
