The Beautiful CEO's Dragon Blood Bodyguard-Chapter 21 - 00 Take a Master
21: Chapter 0021: Take a Master
21 -0021: Take a Master
All feasts must end, and when the coach arrived, it took everyone away in batches.
Pu Jie left with his face flushed, supported by two people, unable to move his right leg properly.
As he passed by Long Fei and Chu Feng, he shouted with a red face, “I won’t lose to you guys, we’ll fight again another time!”
Long Fei looked at him and smiled faintly, “Sure, I’ll wait for you!”
Chu Feng patted his shoulder and said, “Pu, when you get to Africa, try to be more genuine and less of a poser.
That’s the way to live longer!”
Pu Jie didn’t speak and got on the bus with the help of others.
Despite the conflicts during training, they considered each other comrades who had shared hardships, and it was bittersweet to part ways.
After everyone else had left, the two hadn’t boarded yet.
Fang Ming said they had a private ride waiting.
The two stood at the school gates, puzzled.
Soon after, a jeep rolled up.
The window rolled down to reveal the face of the Great Devil, who gestured for them to hop in.
The two grinned and climbed into the vehicle.
On the car, an old man was sitting in the passenger seat.
Upon seeing him, Chu Feng squinted his eyes immediately.
After the car started moving, the old man asked, “Young men, I hear you haven’t joined a sect yet?”
Long Fei and Chu Feng glanced at each other, unsure what he meant.
Zhou Zhenglong said, “Why so suspicious?
This is my grandfather, the direct descendant of the Zhou Style Bagua Palm.
He’s taken a liking to you two and wants to take you on as disciples!”
They laughed awkwardly, and Chu Feng quickly said, “Thanks, but no thanks.
I appreciate the sentiment, old master.
I’m too casual and don’t want to join any sects!”
“You rascal, I knew you were no simpleton!”
Zhou Zhenglong chuckled lightly, as if he had expected this reaction.
He asked Long Fei, “What about you, Long Fei, what do you think?”
Long Fei inquired, “If I join your sect, can I still learn from other sects?”
Zhou Zhenglong’s eyes widened in frustration as he exclaimed, “What do you mean by that, do you look down on our Eight Trigrams School?”
Long Fei waved his hands, “No, I just want to learn more, nothing else!”
Old Master Zhou, sitting on the side, let out a loud laugh and remarked, “It’s easy to find a treasure, harder to find a talent.
All my life, I have been looking for a suitable disciple to carry on the legacy of the Eight Trigrams Fist.
I understand your intentions, young friend.
As long as you are willing to learn, I don’t really object.”
“Grandfather!”
Zhou Zhenglong glanced at him, anxious, “Grandpa, doing this would break the rules!”
Old Master Zhou dismissed it with a wave of his hand, “No more talk.
Martial artists should have long discarded such sectarian views.”
Long Fei, seeing the old man’s sincerity, felt awkward about refusing.
It was better to systematically learn with him than to half-heartedly steal the art along the way.
He asked the old master, “I have to work as a security guard, so I can only come after work and on my days off!”
Zhou Zhenglong felt like he was going to spit blood, and lectured, “If you become my grandpa’s disciple, why would you need to be a security guard?
Whether it’s a martial arts instructor or a personal bodyguard, any role pays better than security work!”
Long Fei insisted, “No, being a security guard is my dream, and I must stick to this job!”
Zhou Zhenglong and the old master both laughed out loud, and even Chu Feng joined in the laughter.
He knew that Long Fei’s choice was largely for the sake of Lin Yingying, that beautiful CEO.
Old Master Zhou agreed, “Alright, come over whenever you’re free.
As for me, your master, I’ll just be idling otherwise!”
Zhou Zhenglong held back a breath, having never seen his grandfather so accommodating.
He really valued Long Fei as a disciple.
He shouted at Long Fei, “Aren’t you going to call him master yet?”
Long Fei touched his head and chuckled foolishly, “Master!”
Old Master Zhou smiled contently, as if he had found some treasure, and said repeatedly, “No need to rush to call me that, wait until you have performed the formal ceremony of becoming an apprentice, then it won’t be too late to call me that!”
Everyone in the car laughed.
Zhou Zhenglong drove the car and dropped the two off at the university entrance.
Old Master Zhou gave Long Fei an address and told him to come find him when he had time after he was done with his work.
Long Fei agreed and bowed to his new master to say goodbye.
After not returning for a week, Long Fei stood at the street corner, his heart still deeply concerned about Sister Yan and Little Tiantian.
They were the first friends Long Fei made in this city.
He had made plans to drink with Chu Feng in the evening, and afterwards, he went to the toy store to buy a doll for Little Tiantian.
It was now noon, and the door to the house was open.
As Long Fei approached the entrance, he heard crying and pleading from the courtyard, “Du Jun, stop smashing things, I’m begging you.
I’ve spent all this month’s money on Tiantian’s tutoring classes, there’s really no money left at home!”
Then came the sound of things being smashed inside, followed by Little Tiantian’s cries of terror.
Long Fei pushed the door open and stepped in, leaving the gifts at the entrance.
In the courtyard, flower pots, electric bikes, and window glass had been smashed to pieces.
The moment Little Tiantian saw him, she immediately ran up to him crying and said, “Uncle Long, daddy is bullying mommy again, please help her!”
Long Fei kept his eyes fixed on Du Jun, handed the cloth doll to Little Tiantian, and told her to hold it for now.
Next to Du Jun stood a burly man with a dragon tattoo on his arm and an exceedingly fierce face.
He held a baseball bat and called out to Du Jun, “Jun brother, is this the bastard you were talking about?”
“Yes, that’s him!”
Du Jun nodded repeatedly, but seeing the fierce look in Long Fei’s eyes made him feel somewhat panicked.
The stout man, holding the baseball bat, pointed at Long Fei and cursed, “Well, well, brat, you’ve got some nerve.
Out of all the people to mess with, you chose to mess with my brother Jun’s woman.”
Without saying a word, Long Fei slapped him across the face.
With a smack, the burly man was caught off guard and staggered to the side; even his teeth were knocked out.
“You dare hit me, motherfucker?”
He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, swung the baseball bat, and smashed it toward Long Fei’s head.
Frightened, He Yan held her daughter and screamed loudly, “Er Hu, stop it!”
The baseball bat didn’t fall; Long Fei took a step forward and grabbed the strong man’s wrist with his left hand.
The strong man, using all his might, was unable to move because Long Fei had him firmly gripped.
“Fuck your mother!”
He bellowed, trying to pull away.
Long Fei followed up with a kick, striking him hard in the chest.
The strong man, easily weighing over 180 kilograms, fell to the ground with a thud, curling up completely from the fall.
Long Fei picked up the baseball bat from the ground, stepped over the burly man’s body, and said coldly to Du Jun, “I warned you last time, did you take my words for the wind?”
Terrified, Du Jun kept backing away, waving his hand and pleading, “Bro, calm down.
It’s all my fault; I’ll never come here again!”
“Who the fuck is your brother!”
Long Fei cursed disdainfully, swung the baseball bat, and smashed it toward his head.
“Help, murder!”
Du Jun, clutching his head, tumbled to the ground and was so frightened that he urinated on himself.
The baseball bat didn’t hit him; it grazed past his head and smashed onto the ground.
With a thud, it left a deep hole in the ground and broke into two pieces from the middle.
