Assassin Tycoon: Slay, Earn and Upgrade With The CoreCoin System-Chapter 13: Kill The Merchandise of Dioleghtans
Chapter 13 - Kill The Merchandise of Dioleghtans
In the next one week, Kael's investment bore fruit.
Kael's eyes glimmered with excitement.
- Investment Package: Anonymous CoinLord invests in the "Erebus Arms Digital Weapons Trafficking Startup," which promises a 5x return on investment within a week.
- Investment Amount: 700 units of currency (700 USD)
- Projected Return: 2800 units of currency (5x profit)
- Profit: 2100 units of currency.
- Bank Status: Transferred.
Kael actually received the money however he could not pay the system now. So instead, he continued his investment this time, paying directly with CoreCoins instead of USD.
The new unit still remains 700 and the projected return is 2800.
Which means over 2.8 million CoreCoins, not even worth what the system had loaned to him.
Kael smiled.
It would take like 4 weeks or even 3 to earn back the complete 7 million CoreCoins or more so that he could pay back. And as for this 2.8 million USD, Kael smiled darkly and his stance suddenly transformed, his demeanor changing— so serious, almost as if he's learnt something in this long one week of waiting for his investment to bear fruit.
He realized that he's not the only one with a system—and not the only one killing for Coin. The underground is deeper than he ever imagined. Now, he must not just survive... but dominate. This money he had earned would help him gain some fame and popularity.
Investing had only been his first step into dominating this dark world where people struggle and strive to survive now — he needed to implement the second step and that step is — becoming a known force.
Kael pondered for a while and asked.
"How exactly can I dominate? How can I become a known force? How can I reinstate my will into the underground world and make them tremble at my feet?"
[I can do that]
Kael chuckled. Of course, that is exactly what the system is here for, to help him grow, to help him dominate and become number 1.
Kael smiled brightly.
"How much can you do exactly?"
[I can give you an invitation. Not directly, but I can hack into the shadows and pull some strings.]
Kael's smile froze on his face.
"Are you really a system or are you just some supernatural being? Who are you exactly?"
[I'm CoreCoin. Mysteries about me would be revealed later in the future. Grappling the weight of my own truth can destroy you completely as of now. Let's focus on what's important — improving you]
Kael was surprised.
However before he could retort, the CoreCoin System shifted another notification in his line of sight...

Kael smiled.
Right now, it was burning down hot with the harsh rays of the light so he waited for it to get dark before he went for the so-called registration. Besides, registration of these kinds doesn't happen in the day — it is an underground organization that operates only in the dark night.
So, Kael decided to go get himself something nice since he had won himself some millions.
However, his OL-TECH beeped, causing Kael to panic for a moment.
Naturally, he doesn't get calls or messages, due to how secure and private it is but now, someone seemed to have hacked his system and somehow got access to his device.
He walked to the device and picked it up.
"Erebus Arms?"
Kael frowned. "How on earth did they track down my device? Is it possible to use a supercomputer to hack another supercomputer?"
[Safehouse entering Stealth Mode]
The safehouse suddenly disappeared and Kael found himself standing atop a high-rise again.

And then, Kael was masked in a strange suit from top to bottom that it is hard to discern his true nature.
The mask had eyes with impenetrable darkness in it and the suit was a resistance to Evil Eyes skills or God Eyes skills — ones that could actually see through armor.
And finally, Kael picked the anonymous caller only to see an embodiment of darkness displayed on the screen.
Erebus Arms is just as secretive as Kael is which surprised him.
Then, a baritone echoed after a moment of silence.
"If it isn't the unknown CoinLord."
Kael's stance changed, and he acted unconcerned.
"Speak up, what do you want?"
The person at the other end — or should I say, a swirling mass of black liquid lingered for a while.
Kael was impatient.
"I have rules, Erebus! I dislike the idea of hacking into someone else's device, invading their privacy for no reason at all. Normally, I would usually destroy their organization with a single snap of my finger, but I would not do that— not now."
"Oh Mr CoinLord, it hasn't gotten to that extent. The thing is, Erebus Arms is currently facing threats from several organizations working with it and we are wondering whether to recruit an ambiguous man as yourself."
Kael could sense nervousness in his tone.
"You don't know me, Erebus! I might even be one of those threatening your organization — you might not know."
"Oh and, your weapon trafficking startup is an interesting context. I like the feeling."
The mass of swirling black liquid laughed on the screen. "That is exactly why we gave you the best. If you could understand how critical the situation is you'd have to help me. That is if you do not want to receive a setback in your current investment."
The atmosphere suddenly darkened.
"Will it affect my current investment?"
"Oh yes it will. I might either receive a small profit with an enormous loss or a complete loss, receiving none at all." fгeewebnovёl.com
Kael's face was pale though it didn't show.
This is exactly what he feared. The first Investment went well, but the second, the third, the fourth... They all promised something different. Kael did not want that.
"What exactly might you need my help with?"
There was a moment of silence and then the voice said, this time in a whisper.
"Kill The Merchandise of Dioleghtans. He's the head and a merchandise of this organization — one of the main threats by the way. I'll give you full details of the old man."
Kael's expression remained dark, only hidden in a fearsome mask.
