It took several more days to settle everything.

That was because the Elven Kingdom was a complete mess from its time under the former Elven King.

There were some people that handled things while the former Elven King was still in charge of the country, but the demands that they had also drained the resources of the country.

No matter how skilled those people were, it was impossible to satisfy the desires that the former Elven King and the high elves had.

It was a very bad situation that the Elven Kingdom had been left in.

The fact that it only took several days to solve this was a testament to the ability that the elder possessed.

Though to say that it was solved was considered a bit of an exaggeration. After all, the damage that had been done to the Elven Kingdom was quite deep and it wasn't something that could actually be solved that easily.

What the elder did was nothing more than some simple patchwork.

But the fact that it was able to stabilize the situation of the Elven Kingdom was more than enough to show that the elder was anything but a normal person.

However, there was something that the elder wanted from me and the Kite Kingdom which was why I had been kept here even though I wasn't involved in the rebuilding of the Elven Kingdom.

What really drew me in was the fact that they offered a tour of the Elven Kingdom to me.

I was an outsider and shouldn't have the right to see the real Elven Kingdom, but this was a special right that was granted to me by the elder.

Though there was a different reason for this.

"Do you see anything that the humans would be interested in?"

That was the one thing that the elder kept asking me as we toured the forest inside the lands of the Elven Kingdom.

It seemed that she wouldn't be satisfied unless I gave her an answer.

Though there wasn't much that I could tell her since I didn't know what would sell well in the human kingdoms.

This was something that was more up Haley's alley than it was up mine.

However, I did understand why she was doing this.

One of the problems that the current Elven Kingdom faced was a lack of money.

Because of the spending habits of the previous Elven King and the high elves, there was a lack of funds in the Elven Kingdom. That was also part of what was contributing to the poor conditions that the elves suffered from.

Now that they weren't being forced to work in mines and such and could return to their previous jobs, they could at least live off the land for now. But there were still many things that were in deficit in the Elven Kingdom.

They needed to make up for this with money to trade with the humans.

There was one thought that they could sell the mines, but that would mean either having elves work in the mines again or having humans come in to work in the mines.

There were some considerations about the first part since it would be different this time. Instead of making the elves slave away in the mines, they would work and be paid a proper wage.

That would only serve to enhance the living conditions of the elves.

As for the second option, it was almost impossible since it would mean letting the humans on the land of the elves.

It was still far too early for something like that.

Even if the relationship between elves and humans had become a bit better because of the peace treaty between the different races, it wasn't as if it had reached a point where the elves would just allow humans to freely move in their land or even settle there for work.

This might happen in the future, but it was still far too early for it right now.

As such, the only thing that the Elven Kingdom could do was look for goods that they could sell. These had to be goods that only the Elven Kingdom could produce that the humans or other races would want.

That would mean that they would have the advantage when it came to negotiating and would have the right to set the price.

In a sense, it would be like price gouging, but there was nothing that could be done when they had a monopoly on these items.

The problem was that I really didn't know what would sell well.

Only the way that the elder looked at me…

So I had no choice but to pull from some of my gaming knowledge.

While it wasn't guaranteed that these things would actually sell, I chose the items that had been considered unique in the shops run by elves when this world was still a game.

At the very least, that confirmed that the elves were the only ones that had these things.

"Are you sure about this vine? It's just a normal vine, what reason would they have for buying it?" The elder clearly didn't trust my opinion as she looked at me with one raised brow.

Shaking my head, I said with a bitter smile, "This is a very special vine, how do you not know that?"

Then in front of the elder's look of doubt, I started pulling on the vine and stretching it out. I tried my best to pull it apart and the amount of strength that I was using was greater than what a normal person could exert.

After having my body refined, I was much stronger than normal people. I was even stronger than normal knights.

Yet even with the amount of strength that I exerted, the vine just didn't snap.

Even though I was demonstrating how strong this vine was, it didn't seem like the elder understood what I meant by this.

This was just the difference in thought between humans and elves I guess.
