Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster-Chapter 184: Getting Ready For The Summit
Chapter 184: Getting Ready For The Summit
One week later.
***
Rael slowly got up, his body sore from all the exercise he’d been doing with a certain someone.
He looked to the side, where Zafira peacefully slept, her body hidden under the covers.
Despite her menacing queen persona, she was surprisingly submissive after a few rounds. Not that he minded, of course. It didn’t change the fact that he loved her all the same.
He admired her sleeping face for a few more moments before finally getting up to dress.
They had moved into a new room together. It was the biggest one in the entire mansion, and frankly, it suited them.
She had a lot of clothes, mostly the ones he had bought for her, and even a kitchen off to the side where they could take turns cooking for one another.
It was basically paradise, everything he’d ever wanted, and something he’d never had the pleasure of experiencing before.
Nonetheless, he didn’t wake her up just yet as he prepared some eggs and bacon before leaving it on the table beside the bed. Of course, he also didn’t forget to buy her some magical contraceptives so she wouldn’t accidentally get pregnant.
With that, he made his way out of the mansion and into the throne room.
He had to gather a few people in the meantime, as this summit was going to be Celestara’s show of force.
I’m glad we have so many strong people now, Rael thought with a whistle.
Linlin had become a total powerhouse, and as for Evelyn, she was taking on a hundred holy knights at once and winning effortlessly.
He also planned to take Aria along on this trip, as it would be the perfect opportunity to meet her father.
Aside from that, he wanted to check out his increased stats.

A decent increase considering all I’ve been doing for the last week is slacking off, Rael thought with a chuckle as he finally arrived at Aria’s quarters. freēwēbnovel.com
During the course of the week, he had been mostly using his Prismatic Genesis skill to make an army of constructs.
And of course, to avoid causing panic in the city, he sent them all into his Wolf Dungeon.
If war really comes, then my constructs will make sure to at least bring down a couple of countries, Rael snickered as he finally arrived in front of Aria’s room.
He knocked a couple of times, and a few seconds later, the door opened, revealing Aria in her casual clothes.
She had a few suitcases to the side, which made Rael raise a brow.
“Can’t you put those in your inventory?”
“I could, but it would ruin the experience of traveling,” she replied flatly. “But it doesn’t matter, right? Because you got that weird carriage.”
“True.” Rael nodded with a smirk.
He had made one big purchase during the week, and it was a massive SUV. It was fast, had off-road capabilities, and it could even hover down terrain if needed.
It was an all-in-one car, for a steep price of 10 million Trell.
“Anyways, I assume you’re ready, right?” Rael asked one last time.
And she swiftly nodded. “Yep. All set here. I also told Evelyn to come over, so she should be here soon. Want to come in for some coffee?”
“Hmm… why not,” Rael replied and stepped inside.
It still surprised him that, despite all the painting tools in the room, there wasn’t the slightest lingering smell.
They sat down, and Aria poured him some coffee.
She stared at him from across the table and tilted her head. “Zafira’s been talking a lot about you lately. Did something happen?”
“Maybe, maybe not.” Rael shrugged. “We got a little closer, you could say.”
“I see…” Aria trailed off and leaned back in her seat, a serious expression appearing on her face.
“These summits are very dangerous, Rael,” she said. “Did you know? Sylvaran actually belonged to Celestara once. But after one of the summits, the Holy Kingdom took it for themselves.”
“Oh yeah?” Rael mused. “That seems like it opens up the possibility for us getting it back then.”
“Well… sure, but…” She scratched her cheek. “What use is Sylvaran? It’s a city that thrives off visitors. What makes you so sure that whenever you get Sylvaran, the Holy Kingdom won’t just impose a huge toll on their southern borders?”
“Hmm… that only applies if it stays a city that only makes money off visitors,” Rael replied, twirling the coffee in his cup. “With a little bit of money, I can turn it into a port city. It would have access to both the southern and western ocean canals. It’s good money, you know?”
“But the barbarians—”
“Are not a problem,” Rael interjected. “At the moment, they are taking a neutral stance against us so long as their new chieftain, Nyzzara, lives. After that, we’ll have enough political power to control them if needed.”
The moment his words finished, he heard a knock on the door, which belonged to none other than Evelyn.
Noticing that, Rael sent a quick text in the group chat.
Immediately, a few pairs of messages followed.
And of course, the person who seemed the rudest of the entire group, Dax.
Rael scoffed, nodded at Aria, then stood up and walked to the door.
I have to go wake up Zafira as well… he thought with a sigh.
And of course, right after…
They would be heading to the summit happening in the Holy Kingdom.
