Chapter 262: Interesting Reunions

Somewhere in a fantasy world where happiness had become the only tone of reality, Dora, Midgard, and Elizabeth sat in an empty classroom.

It was afternoon, after school, time for club activities.

Dora was playing with his hair, with some papers with information on different clubs close at hand.

"After all, I wouldn’t mind reconsidering the chess club."

"Don’t be stupid, we can’t have fun if we don’t feel pain in our muscles. Track club is the best, or football, or basketball, or wrestling club... a good opportunity to attack you."

Dora gave Elizabeth a worried look.

"...May I ask why you think I would fight in the women’s division?"

"...A fish with wings is still a fish, boy, but if you want to prove otherwise...there’s always a way."

She stood up menacingly, advancing dangerously. Dora also stood on guard, ready to intercept the incoming wave when he noticed Midgard.

The girl looked intently at the window, her eyes more serious than usual.

"Mid?"

"...Hm?...oh, were you talking to me?"

Midgard seemed concerned about something, she noticed the intrigue her reaction caused, so she forced herself to smile.

"Sorry, I was a little distracted...this world was perfect before but now...it’s even more interesting...Ely?"

"...Yeah?... Oh, you agree with me? A sports club then? Okay!"

Elizabeth jumped on Dora who dodged just in time and hid behind Midgard.

"Please, my legs aren’t used to too much activity, but how about we ask our new visitor’s opinion?"

She looked at the ajar door, Dora and Elizabeth followed her gaze, and both froze at the sight of a new face revealed as her cover was blown.

"What’s going on...Peters?!"

The young man, also wearing the school uniform, entered the room, looking to the side, embarrassed.

They stood like that for a few seconds without a word, then Peters coughed a little.

"...Um...So...hello?"

Elizabeth approached, watching his face closely, forcing him to step back.

"Holly cow, Peters? Is that you? Damn, I forgot you existed in this world! Hey, do you see that, Dora? When did you made him kick the bucket?"

"...Could we ignore why everyone is here?"

Peters hesitantly grabbed his arm, he tried to look at their faces, but each time his gaze met Elizabeth and he reacted by looking to the side.

"I...well, t’s not the warm reunion I was expecting..."

"Hot? Man, we’re all cold bodies here, why all the fuss? But where were you the whole time?"

"...Yeah, I was sure I was dead... Well, I remembered a lot of things suddenly, and for some reason I knew you would be there..."

His gaze fell on Dora who seemed very anxious.

"Well...I don’t want to talk about karma, but..."

"Karma wouldn’t be enough to atone for what happened to your sister."

"...What?"

Dora frowned, looking at the window in turn.

"...Oh...nothing...It’s just...it’s weird, I...I remembered something...Something I didn’t do."

His gaze turned to Elizabeth, then the three looked at Midgard who had returned to looking at the window.

"Mid? You’re the one in control here, aren’t you?"

Midgard turned towards them, a strange smile on her lips.

"Well, deary, to be honest, I don’t control everything, WE control everything...and it seems our world has reached a new dimension, and not just in terms of power."

She got up and walked towards the door, with a mischievous smile.

"It was very nice, but I don’t like crowded places anymore, so... Come with me, I want to introduce you to someone."

She hurriedly left the room, the 3 looked at each other, very intrigued, but before following her, Peters turned to Dora.

"Wait, what happened to Mercy?"

"Nothing important, it appears that I took her virginity."

"Ah okay, I thought...Wait, WHAAAAT?!"

"I said I took her to a town called Virginia."

"...Ah, ok...you scared me..."

"I also deflowered her a bit in the process."

The temperature in Peters’ brain increased tenfold, unlike the temperature in the real world.

The temperature gradually dropped, each gap filling the lungs with cold air.

It became harder to breathe and more painful, until the brain finally came back to life.

Marie opened her eyes in shock, she quickly sat down and coughed, her hands on her throat.

"... What... what the..."

Her mind was a little fuzzy, she needed some time to process what had happened, and upon recalling the events, her eyes widened.

"... Damn... Zury... uh... The others, where... where am I?"

"Here we go."

Marie flinched, she turned and found herself in a cabin, next to Zury.

"Finally awake? Welcome to your best nightmare."

"Zury?! What are you... What did you do?! Where am I? What are you doing?"

Zury sighed, extending her gaze to the outside.

"If I had a mirror I could show you how ridiculous you look with these questions. You’ve slept for days, wanna know how we’ve fed you all this time?"

She stuck out her tongue with a teasing smile, Marie’s face turned slightly blue, and then she felt a presence at her back.

"Relax, I controlled your body, like the puppets you use."

Marie turned around and found herself facing one of Dora’s Personas, whose orange eyes indicated that it was Sigma.

"Well, I fed you, but I couldn’t bring myself to give you a bath... Still making peace with your abnormal growth... so you might be closer to a fish than a rose."

Marie trembled a little, she couldn’t believe that the boy she had been looking for so long was right there in front of her.

Unaware of the whole story, she instinctively rushed to him, and hugged him firmly, ignoring anything else.

"Wait, I haven’t taken a bath either! It’s pointless to take revenge now!"

But it was useless, Marie started sobbing in his arms, she was at a dead end and the boy who shone like a solution appeared at the most important moment.

"... Dora... It’s really you... You’re really here..."

"... Well, I’m not used to being welcomed so warmly... But since the evil one is away I suppose it’s normal?"

He gave her a head pat, a warmth bringing a wonderful peace to the young girl, and growing the annoyance of Zury.

Marie opened her eyes, a smile on her lips. It was good to ignore the chaos around her for a second, but when her eyes met another Dora with blue eyes reading a book, she fell heavily out of her dream.

"... What..."

"...Just to be clear, we’re not merging to give her a piece of us, enough debauchery."

Sigma rolled his eyes, hands on his hips.

"I wasn’t in control, and I suggest we forget this ever happened."

Marie stepped back, taking in the whole room.

In one corner, Omega was looking at the ceiling, in another, Gamma was playing chess alone.

Marie stepped back, her eyes turning to the Dora in front of her, with his orange eyes, then to Alpha, reading his book.

Zury’s sinister laughter filled the room, the young woman looking at Marie with amusement.

"Now that you’re truly awake, allow me to repeat myself: welcome to a world of bizarreness."
