Mesmerizing Ghost Doctor-Chapter 4647: Reunion
Chapter 4647: Reunion
“Alright, let’s go back and rest,” Feng Jiu agreed, bending down to carry Yue’er into her arms. She smiled at Hao’er and Muchen, who were walking towards them. “Let’s head to the inn and get some sleep!”
The two boys nodded and followed her to the inn.
The next day at noon, they boarded the airship and departed, their first stop the Feng family’s ancestral home to collect Seventeen before setting course for the mortal realm where the Pan Family resided.
A month later, the three children found themselves in the mortal realm once more. However, this time, the circumstances were vastly different from their previous, stranded predicament. Now, they were accompanied by their mother and their companions.
During their journey, Feng Jiu made sure to incorporate sightseeing and opportunities for Hao’er to relax, and for Muchen and Muyue to enjoy themselves. She also took the opportunity to impart some of her knowledge to them.
Yue’er showed a keen interest in medicine, so Feng Jiu began to teach her. Despite her young age, Yue’er was a quick study, and within a single month, she was already capable of mixing simple remedies on her own.
Feng Jiu also guided Hao’er and Muchen in their cultivation. The two often sparred, and Muchen showed rapid progress. However, Hao’er became increasingly withdrawn as they traveled. Though he tried to appear normal, Feng Jiu sensed the deep wound inflicted by his biological mother’s words, a sharp pain that would not easily heal.
Having arrived in the mortal realm, they forsook the flying ship, occasionally soaring through the skies on their swords but more often traveling on foot and resting along the way. Despite the leisurely pace, they reached the imperial city in the evening.
“Mother, we’re here!” Yue’er exclaimed excitedly. “I can go see Brother Boqing and Sister Xue’er!”
A rare smile touched Muchen’s lips as well. Though he remained silent, his anticipation at seeing their old friend was evident.
“Mother, the Pan Family is just ahead,” Hao’er said, pointing in the direction.
As they entered the city, the astonished and curious gazes of the citizens followed them intently. The aura of cultivators was unmistakable, far surpassing that of ordinary mortals, and their extraordinary appearances naturally drew everyone’s attention and sparked their curiosity.
“Hey, look! Aren’t those twins the ones who used to live in the Pan Family?” Someone recognized Muchen and Muyue. Their delicate and identical features made them difficult to forget.
“Those are immortal children! The immortal children are back! Look at the people around them; they are all so beautiful! They must be immortals!”
“Immortals have come to our Imperial City! Immortals have come to our Imperial City!”
As the excited cries of one commoner spread, the voices echoed and multiplied, and they found themselves surrounded by a dense crowd. Yet, no one blocked their path. As they continued forward, the surrounding commoners instinctively made way for them. frёeωebɳovel.com
Some people even ran ahead to the Pan Family to spread the extraordinary news.
Pan Ning was in his courtyard, enjoying a cup of tea and reading a book, while his son Boqing practiced his boxing in the open space. Suddenly, he saw his Steward rush in, his face full of excitement. Pan Ning put down his teacup, a question in his eyes. “What is it?”
“Second Young Master, it’s incredible news, truly incredible news! An Immortal has arrived in the Imperial City, and according to the person who brought us the news, he also saw Young Master Hao, Young Master Chen, and Young Miss Yue’er!” The steward’s face was flushed with excitement as he hurriedly delivered the astonishing report.
