Kim Heedo could smell Park Sohee’s pheromones all over his clothes.

No wonder Sohee Hyung insisted on choosing my clothes for today— he wanted to spray his pheromones all over me.

"Your agenda isn’t that hidden, Hyung."

"That’s the point."

"Hyung, I know it’s hard for you to trust me completely after the stupid things I’ve done in the past," Heedo said in a serious tone. "But I promise I won’t do things that will disappoint you again. I’m always on my best behavior these days."

"I know that," Park Sohee said, avoiding his gaze. "But you don’t have to be too kind to other people, okay? Just be your usual snobbish self if you have to."

Heedo had to cover his mouth with his hand to hide his silly grin.

I can’t believe Sohee Hyung is being jealous...

It was a nice feeling.

"Why are you covering your face, Kim Heedo?"

"I just don’t want to show you my silly grin, Hyung."

"And why are you grinning?"

"I’m happy," Heedo said, clearing his throat. "I’m happy that Hyung is acting possessive of me."

"Oh." Park Sohee blushed as if he were shy. "Am I suffocating you? Am I being too controlling? Don’t be afraid to call me out if I’m crossing the line, Heedo-ya."

"Hyung, trust me— I’m loving this side of you," Heedo said, removing his hand from covering half of his face to show Park Sohee that he was telling the truth. "Even if you ask me to cut off all the people in my life, including my family, I’d do it. In fact, I also wouldn’t mind if you lock me up in our house. I can still earn money even if I’m just at home anyway."

"Are you asking me to act like an Alpha?"

"What’s wrong, Heedo-ya?" Park Sohee asked worriedly while covering his nose. "Your scent..."

"Yep," Sohee said while handing the lunchbox to Kim Heedo. The two of them were on the porch of the apartment, saying their goodbyes to each other. "I already told the security that Hong Sera and Cho Euntak will be here today."

Aside from the apartment complex’s own security, his in-laws also added a private security team for Sohee’s safety.

Luckily, nobody else was living on that floor.

Hence, his in-laws rent out the other units.

Then they put a security team on their floor so anyone who wasn’t on the list wouldn’t be allowed to enter.

"Why?" Sohee asked, curious about why his husband asked about his guests for today. "Did you forget that I’m having guests over?"

"Oh, no. It’s not like that, Hyung," Kim Heedo said, pausing for a moment. "I just feel bad that you keep having guests over instead of having fun outside. I’m sure you want to go out and play."

He’s being thoughtful.

"That’s true, but I want to prioritize our babies’ safety," Sohee said, trying to cheer up his husband. "I just need to stay at home for a few months. If you feel bad for me, then promise me that you’ll take me out on plenty of dates after I give birth to our babies."

Kim Heedo’s face immediately beamed. "Of course, Hyung. Is there something that you want to do after you give birth?"

"Of course. In fact, I already know what I want to do first after that."

"What is it, Hyung? I’ll help you achieve your bucket list."

"I want to go skydiving—"

"No. Anything but that, Hyung," Heedo said, frowning, after cutting off Sohee. "I knew it— you’re still an adrenaline junkie deep in your heart!"

"Yah," Sohee complained half-heartedly. "You said you were going to help me complete my bucket list."

"Extreme sports aren’t allowed, Hyung."

Aigoo.

"What a tyrant."

Heedo smiled apologetically. "I’m sorry, Hyung. But let’s talk about this again later. Maybe you’ll find something else that you want to do after giving birth."

He’s trying to change my mind.

Fine.

I’ll give in for now.

"Alright. Let’s talk about this again later," Sohee said, and then he opened his arms. Admittedly, what he was doing was making him shy. But he had to do it to mark his husband. "The babies want a hug from their daddy."

That was half the truth.

The other half is that I want to shower Kim Heedo with more of my pheromones.

Kim Heedo chuckled, and then he carefully wrapped Sohee around his arms— making sure that he wouldn’t accidentally crush his baby bump. "Babies, I’ll come home as early as I can. For now, make sure to keep your mommy company."

Sohee buried his face against the side of Kim Heedo’s neck to hide his smile.

To be honest, he had been calling himself ’daddy’ of their twins.

But being called ’mommy’ wasn’t bad either.

I like the sound of it.
