Married For Now-Chapter 191: CRAVINGS
Chapter 191: CRAVINGS
AFTER the scary diagnosis that Sohee got from Dr. Seong Kyungmin, he decided to get an early prenatal visit at his usual hospital in Seoul.
Ever since he got pregnant, he would get a prenatal visit at the hospital once a month.
His schedule for this month was supposed to be done two weeks later.
But since he couldn’t sleep properly after hearing Dr. Seong Kyungmin’s diagnosis, he decided to have a proper prenatal visit.
And, of course, he brought the adult adult that he trusted most at the moment.
"Don’t worry too much, Sohee-ya," President Kang Nari said, his mother-in-law, said while patting Sohee’s hand. "We already expected that your pregnancy would be risky from the start until the end. But we’ll make sure everything will be fine."
Sohee was relieved to hear that from his mother-in-law.
All day long, he took all the tests necessary.
His mother-in-law made sure that the doctors would be quick and efficient.
"Mother-in-law, thank you," Sohee said in a serious tone. "I mean it."
To be honest, Lim Garam and his Crybabies friends volunteered to come with him to the hospital.
However, he felt like he needed to be highly functional when he was with his friends.
I feel protective of Garam Hyung even though he’s older because he looks fragile, and I feel protective of my friends because I’m older than them.
Sohee thought he didn’t have the energy for that because he was anxious.
Hence, his mother-in-law’s presence really helped him calm down.
"You don’t have to thank me for doing my job as your guardian," President Kang Nari said, smiling. "And don’t worry. I didn’t tell Heedo that I’d be accompanying you here. And I promise he wouldn’t know. He’s busy with his own appointment anyway."
"Did he go to the hospital for his rehabilitation, Mother-in-law?"
"He went this morning, but it was already over. He must be having a meeting with a real estate agent by now."
Sohee was curious, but he didn’t want to appear to be too curious.
Hence, he just kept his mouth shut.
However, it seemed like his mother-in-law knew what he wanted to know.
"Heedo is buying a villa near the villa where you’re currently staying, Sohee-ya."
Sohee almost choked on his saliva. "What the..."
Aigoo.
He almost cursed out of shock!
"Sohee-ya, I didn’t stop you when you said you wanted to file a divorce because you’re an adult capable of making decisions on your home," President Kang Nari said carefully. "So, I’m not going to stop Kim Heedo either from pursuing you. Of course, I’ll offer him some advice. I don’t want my son to act like a creepy stalker, after all."
That was fair.
Plus, Kim Heedo is still Mother-in-law’s precious firstborn.
And, if he was going to be honest...
"I want Kim Heedo to put in more effort," Sohee said, his voice almost a whisper. "I want him to make me feel that his priority this time will be me and our babies."

"BASED on the results of Park Sohee-ssi’s tests, we detected early symptoms of preeclampsia."
Sohee felt his heart sink after hearing the diagnosis of Dr. Chen Ara— his female doctor.
She’s one of the youngest yet brightest OB-GYN in the country.
"Preeclampsia?" President Kang Nari asked in a calm voice. However, the panic and fear in her eyes were quite evident. "But my son-in-law is only 17 weeks pregnant. I thought preeclampsia only occurs after at least 20 weeks of pregnancy."
"It’s rare, but it happens, ma’am," Dr. Chen Ara explained calmly. "In fact, early preeclampsia is normal among pregnant male Omegas."
Oh, right.
That’s why most pregnancy of male Omegas ends up in miscarriage.
Now Sohee felt numb and cold.
It’s normal for pregnant male Omegas like me to experience preeclampsia early, and that’s why our pregnancy is always risky. And the risks definitely doubled because I’m carrying twins in my womb.
"Doctor, what can we do to protect my son-in-law and my grandchildren?" President Kang Nari asked while holding Sohee’s hands. "Please tell us what to do."
Oh.
Sohee suddenly felt like crying.
Not because he was scared— but because he was relieved that he could rely on his mother-in-law.
This time, he didn’t have to endure alone.
He didn’t have to act tough.
Sohee slowly let out the breath that he didn’t know he was holding.
He could finally breathe again.
I’m glad that I can lean on my mother-in-law.

SOHEE started limiting his intake of caffeine ever since he got pregnant.
However, since he was feeling a bit stressed that day, he decided to have matcha in the hospital café.
He was waiting for his mother-in-law who was still talking to his doctor.
Of course, he wasn’t alone.
My bodyguards are sitting at the other table.
Sohee was staring blankly into the air when some random cravings suddenly hit him.
He was craving for sushi— and not just any sushi.
I want the ones sold in Busan.
After all, Busan was known for its fresh seafood.
And I also want to try the famous honeycomb ice cream from one of the famous concept cafés there.
Sohee was busy drooling, imagining the food he wanted to eat, when he got a call.
Since he was a bit disoriented, he picked up the call even though he saw Kim Heedo’s name on the caller ID.
"Oh, Hyung. You answered..."
"Should I hang up then?"
"No! Please don’t! I was just pleasantly surprised that you finally picked up my call."
Right?
Sohee was also surprised by himself.
But since he was already talking to Kim Heedo...
"Where are you?"
"I just finished a meeting with a real estate agent, so I’m on my way home. Why, Hyung? Do you want to see me?"
Aigoo.
The brat sounds desperate and hopeful.
"You can see me if you bring me fresh sushi from Busan," Sohee said bluntly. "And I’d like some honeycomb ice cream from a specific store, too."
"Right now?"
"Yes, Heedo-ya— right now."
