KIM HEEDO closed his eyes and tried to take a nap while in the car.

But he couldn’t really sleep.

After all, he couldn’t help but replay his conversation with Shaman Jung again and again.

He pretty much understood what the shaman wanted to say, and he could guess what kind of "compensation" he could give Lee Junsu to end whatever connection they had.

And that was what making his head hurt.

Heedo sighed, and then he paused when he realized that the car had already stopped running.

Which was strange because he was pretty sure they weren’t at the village yet.

"Young Master, I know you’re awake."

Heedo opened his eyes and straightened up in his seat. "What’s the matter, Ahjussi?" He then looked at the window and realized that they had stopped in front of a convenience store. "Do you have something you need to buy here?"

"No, it’s not like that, Young Master," Shin Kang said, meeting Heedo’s eyes in the rearview mirror of the car. "It’s just that Mr. Jin has been calling me nonstop for the past ten minutes. It seemed urgent, but I’m not sure if I should pick up."

"Who’s Mr. Jin again?"

"He’s the head of Song Sihyuk-nim’s security team, sir."

"Song Sihyuk, that crazy bastard— he’ll kill Lee Junsu for real! If Lee Junsu dies, you’ll never retrieve your memories! So, whether you like it or not— or whether Park Sohee wants it or not— you have to save us. No— just save Lee Junsu—"

And the call was suddenly cut off.

Heedo suddenly felt like someone had punched him in the throat.

The urgency and desperation in Sanha’s voice gave him the shivers.

Sihyuk Hyung-nim is going to kill Lee Junsu?

Then that meant Song Sihyuk had already gotten hold of Sanha and Lee Junsu.

"Young Master, should I ask my team to track Song Sihyuk-nim?"

"Do you think Lim Garam-nim will take your side, sir?"

"Ahjussi, Garam Hyung-nim doesn’t really like Sihyuk Hyung-nim that much. Everyone knows it’s a one-sided love," Heedo said, pulling out his own phone from his pocket. "But let me give Garam Hyung-nim a call first."

Of course, Shin Kang immediately stood in front of Heedo protectively.

Even though Ahjussi is alone, I can tell that he’ll fight to the death for me.

Luckily, Shin Kang didn’t have to do that.

"What are you doing to my guest?"

Heedo was relieved when Lim Garam finally came out.

And Hyung-nim isn’t alone.

Aside from the child in Lim Garam’s arms, there was a petite young girl behind him.

Heedo recognized the child.

It’s the new shaman that guides the SG Group.

Kim Heedo knew that it was reckless to go to Song Sihyuk’s house without a proper plan.

But his plan succeeded because Lim Garam helped him.

Though the head of security compromised with them.

They asked Ahjussi to stay outside.

That was how Heedo ended up alone in the drawing room with Lim Garam.

Mija and the child were in the other room.

"I’m sorry for making you wait," Lim Garam said while serving coffee. "I had to call Sohee first and ask him to come here."

Heedo’s eyes widened in shock. "Hyung-nim, why did you ask Sohee Hyung to come here?"

For some reason, Heedo suddenly felt scared.

Why do I have a feeling Sohee Hyung will really get pissed at me this time?

"Heedo-ya, don’t get mistaken."

Heedo knitted his eyebrows. "What do you mean by that, Hyung-nim?"

"I’m not doing this for you," Lim Garam said in a serious tone. "I’m only helping you because of Park Sohee."

Sohee thanked Kang Sul who opened the car’s door for him.
