Married For Now-Chapter 132: JUSTICE SERVED
Chapter 132: JUSTICE SERVED
"ABEOJI, some rich kid threatened to sue me and the school. It seems like the jerk doesn’t even know who my father is. Can you come and put him in his place? They even punched me!"
Normally, Kang Doosik would have just sent his secretary to deal with the mess his son created again.
However, this time, it was different.
He was related to the school director. Hence, even if he showed up at school, nobody would snitch to the media.
Moreover, I need to pacify my son from time to time.
Kang Woong’s biological mother had been dead for more than a decade now, but his son had yet to receive his inheritance.
It was still being managed by his late wife’s father.
My son’s grandfather is very fond of my son, so I have no choice but to tolerate Kang Woong’s behavior. If my son gets upset with me, I might lose my chance to get my hands on his inheritance.
Kang Doosik was desperate for money since he needed funds for his political career. After all, he was planning to run as the next Seoul Mayor in this coming election.
I married Jang Aejung because her family is rich. But that woman gave up her right to compete with her brothers as the next chairman of their conglomerate. She settled on being a president of some affiliate company.
Worse, his second wife wouldn’t even support his campaign financially.
Hence, when Jang Aejung and Kang Woong had a big fight after his wife tried to punish his son for being a bully, he chose his son’s side.
I have no use for a woman who can’t support her husband’s career.
On the other hand, his son would soon receive a huge inheritance from his grandfather.
So, I have to be good to Kang Woong.
"Oh?"
Kang Doosik’s train of thought was interrupted when his bodyguard-slash-secretary made a surprised sound.
They were walking towards the school entrance when that happened.
"That’s Shin Kang-ssi," his secretary said, pointing at the man leaning against a nearby wall while playing with his phone. "He’s the legendary agent from Taeyang Security."
Ah, that was the most elite security company in the country.
Kang Doosik’s secretary was a former agent from Taeyang Security, so he wasn’t surprised that he recognized a colleague.
Moreover, Shin Kang was famous.
Even I know who that man is.
And that made him wonder.
"What is a man of his stature doing here?" Kang Doosik wondered out loud. "Isn’t that person a loyal subordinate of the Ilsung Group now?"
"Yes, sir. As far as I know, Shin Kang-ssi is still the bodyguard and right-hand man of Chairman Kim’s oldest grandson."
"But none of Chairman Kim’s grandchildren attend this school, right?"
It was a private school, but not as prestigious as the other high schools in Seoul.
I had no choice but to send my son here since his bullying scandal back in middle school was pretty huge.
His son bullied the poor scholars in his previous school.
We silenced the victims with money, but Jang Aejung convinced me to transfer my son to another school so that he couldn’t approach his victims again.
Since the school director here was his relative, he agreed.
"None, sir," his secretary said, answering Kang Doosik’s question earlier. "The chairman’s youngest grandchildren are attending Chunhwa High School."
Ah.
That’s one of the most prestigious high schools in the whole country.
Chunhwa High School was known for having extremely competitive admissions and strong college admission outcomes.
Kang Doosik tried to bribe the school to accept Kang Woong who had bad grades.
But it didn’t work.
It’s either Chairman Kim’s grandchildren are smart, or they paid a ridiculous amount of money that only chaebols could dispense easily.
"But Shin Kang-ssi never leaves Young Master Heedo’s side."
Kang Doosik had to agree with his secretary.
"Maybe Young Master Heedo is here?"
Hmm?
Kang Doosik froze after hearing his secretary’s conclusion, and then he remembered what his son said to him during their phone conversation earlier.
"Abeoji, some rich kid threatened to sue me and the school. It seems like the jerk doesn’t even know who my father is..."
He suddenly felt ominous.
It’s not that the "rich kid" doesn’t know me...
Could it be the "rich kid" just didn’t care?
Dammit!
"Hurry up!"
Kang Doosik quickened his steps as he headed towards the principal’s office.
It wasn’t his first time there, so he didn’t call for an escort.
He knocked once before opening the door, and when he entered the room...
"Abeoji, you’re here."
Kang Doosik ignored his son as his eyes immediately found the person he was looking for.
As a Recessive Alpha, Kim Heedo’s pheromones were too overwhelming.
That’s a Dominant Alpha for you.
Kang Doosik bowed his head politely. "It’s been a while, Young Master Heedo."
To be honest, the grandchildren of Chairman Kim were hiding their identities as chaebols in order to live a "normal" life.
If I didn’t marry Jang Aejung, I wouldn’t have taken a glimpse of this young master.
"Abeoji, what are you doing?!" Kang Woong complained. "Why are you bowing to that bastard?!"
Kang Doosik immediately lifted his head and smacked the back of his son’s head, shocking everyone in the room.
But that didn’t matter.
I can’t get on the bad side of the Ilsung Group’s future heir!
"Watch your mouth, you brat!" Kang Doosik scolded his son. "Don’t be rude to the young master. He’s the oldest grandson of the Ilsung Group!"
Nobody in the country didn’t know about the Ilsung Group— even children did.
Hence, it was no surprise that Kang Woong and the faculty members all looked shocked.
"Young Master, I apologize for my son’s mistake," Kang Doosik said politely. "I’ll make sure my son will receive a proper punishment."
"Don’t apologize to me," Kim Heedo said indifferently. "Your son has to apologize for insulting my husband and bullying my brother-in-law."
What?
At that moment, Kang Doosik saw his dream of becoming the Seoul Mayor crumbling.
My son messed with the wrong people!

IT WAS finally over.
Sohee stretched his arms after getting out of the conference hall.
All he did was receive apologies from the school principal to Kang Woong, and yet he already felt tired.
But it was worth it.
Seeing Go Gunjoon’s bright face made it worthwhile.
But this kid is pretty soft.
"Go Gunjoon, are you sure that you don’t want to sue?" Sohee asked. "Kim Heedo will take care of everything if you decide to sue the school."
They could talk freely now because the two of them were inside the car.
Shin Kang was just outside.
And we’re waiting for Kim Heedo who’s having a private conversation with Mayor Kang and Kang Woong.
"It’s too troublesome, Hyung-nim. I just want to study in peace," Go Gunjoon said while shaking his head. "I’m satisfied that the school agreed to post a public apology to clear my name. And Kang Woong is the one getting expelled now. Even if the school doesn’t make a clear statement, it’s clear that the students will figure out that he’s the real drug seller and not me. Though the school will deny the drug scandal to protect their reputation."
Right.
Mayor Kang Doosik agreed to have his son expelled on the condition that the school will announce the drug scandal was just a misunderstanding.
It was unfair to Go Gunjoon, yes.
But that’s why Kim Heedo is currently negotiating with Mayor Kang. We need to know who the supplier of the drugs is.
Sohee sighed.
I hope this is the last time I’d hear about those drugs.
"Hyung-nim, thank you," Go Gunjoon said in a serious voice. "I mean it."
"You’re welcome. Make sure to extend your gratitude to Kim Heedo later. He’s the one who did all the work."
"Of course, Hyung-nim."
"Do you want to transfer to a different school?"
"Where to?"
"Kim Heedo has twin siblings your age. They attend a prestigious private school, and I want to send you there. If you fail to get a scholarship, I’ll support you financially."
Sohee had enough money to send Go Gunjoon to an expensive private school.
I barely use my allowance anyway since Kim Heedo buys me everything.
"But why are you doing this for me, Hyung-nim?"
"Just because," Sohee said, shrugging. "You’re smart, and you’re a good kid, so you deserve to go to a better school."
"Hyung-nim..."
Much to his surprise, Go Gunjoon suddenly hugged him tight.
"Thank you, Hyung-nim!"
Aigoo.
Sohee awkwardly patted Go Gunjoon’s back.
And then he got a whiff of it— Kim Heedo’s strong pheromones.
When he lifted his head, he saw his husband outside the car, frowning while looking at him and his half-brother from the window.
Aigoo.
Sohee couldn’t help but laugh.
Kim Heedo isn’t jealous of my brother, is he?
***
AH, HE’S jealous.
That was what Sohee thought when Kim Heedo kept hugging him in the car.
Instead of sitting in the passenger seat, his husband sat with him and Go Gunjoon in the backseat.
Now I’m stuck between them.
Go Gunjoon offered to sit in the passenger seat, but the car was already moving then.
"How was your conversation with Mayor Kang and that brat?" Sohee asked carefully. "Did you get the information that we need?"
"Yes, but let’s talk about that later," Kim Heedo said, raising his head to look at Go Gunjoon. "Little brother, what do you want to eat? My treat."
’Little brother?’
Oho.
"Is it okay if it’s expensive, Hyung-nim?" Go Gunjoon asked with sparkling eyes. "I’m really hungry, and there’s this restaurant I want to try."
"Sure," Kim Heedo said casually. "You deserve an expensive meal after you protected your Sohee Hyung."
Sohee was relieved that the two were getting along.
It helps that Go Gunjoon is a child who has good social skills.
***
"SERA-YA, can we talk?"
Oh.
Hong Sera didn’t expect that Jin Minki would "ambush" her at school.
Exactly when she was alone.
"Let’s talk," Jin Minki said in a serious tone. "Please."
Hong Sera, knowing that she couldn’t avoid Jin Minki or Han Raehyun forever, sighed. "Alright, let’s talk."
And Hong Sera would find out later that it was a bad idea.
