Help, I'm in Another World and All the Men Are Are So Dangerous! [BL]-Chapter 131: The Heir of Don Ferocelli
Chapter 131: The Heir of Don Ferocelli
Rocco walked into the grand mansion imm, but it wasn’t time for the meeting.
When he thought about it, this wasn’t the home of either the Di Malventos or the Del Fiores—it was someone else’s house.
Of course, the first thing they needed to do was greet the host.
Rocco couldn’t help but feel a little bit embarrassed at his lack of manners.
After entering the magnificent estate, Rocco followed his father as they approached the two men who are standing in the lobby.
One was an older man who like his father and the other was a man who seemed to be around Sylas’s age.
The older man wore a black suit, but the younger man was dressed in an unusual outfit that wasn’t a suit.
It resembled a traditional Chinese-style garment, primarily black and green.
His green hair was loosely braided, and he had a silver hairpin in his hair.
A bracelet that looked like prayer beads was wrapped around his wrist.
Rocco couldn’t help but stare at the young man, noticing his unusual appearance.
"We’ve been expecting you, Lord Marcus. It is an honor to have you choose the Don Ferocelli family as your intermediary for this matter," the older man in the monocle said while bowing toward his father.
He was likely the Head of the Don Ferocelli family.
He was a poised man with flowing long hair, exuding an intellectual aura.
He looked more like a professor than a mafia boss, though perhaps the monocle contributed to that impression.
Rocco observed his father’s response to the Head of the Don Ferocelli family’s cheerful attitude.
His father’s expression was sharp, but there was a subtle softness to it.
Given that they had entrusted the Don Ferocelli family to mediate between the two major families, it seemed his father had a great deal of trust in them.
As instructed by his father and Sylas beforehand, Rocco quietly stayed in the shadows of Sylas, observing the situation.
After exchanging a few words, the two men turned their attention to the children, seemingly signaling that it was time for Rocco and the others to introduce themselves.
"My son doesn’t often appear in public, so this may be our first formal meeting... Feilu, please greet everyone," the Head of the Don Ferocelli family said.
"Yes! Father!" came the clear and loud reply.
Rocco flinched slightly at the bright voice that echoed through the lobby.
He had been lulled into a false sense of security by the Head of the Don Ferocelli family’s calm and gentle demeanor... But this young man in the Chinese-style outfit seemed unexpectedly passionate.
From his crisp voice, Rocco could tell that he was a bright and energetic person.
The young man stepped forward, reaching out to his father with a cheerful smile.
"It’s an honor to meet you, Lord Marcus! I am Feilu Don Ferocelli, the heir of the Don Ferocelli family!" he said, his bright smile and tone full of sincerity.
Marcus who had blinked in surprise, soon let his usual neutral expression soften in response to the young man’s demeanor.
It seemed that Feilu had already won his father’s favor.
Given that it was rare for his father to show such a warm expression upon meeting someone for the first time, Rocco’s eyes lit up with surprise and admiration.
"Oh, I’ve heard much about you from your father. He said you are very wise and skilled in management. I understand you’ll be starting a business soon," his father replied, his tone calm but warm.
Rocco observed the interaction closely.
His father, as usual, maintained a composed yet gentle manner, while Feilu responded with evident joy.
So far, there were no signs of any unusual behavior or discomfort from the Don Ferocelli family.
The family itself hadn’t appeared in the original story either, and it didn’t seem like there were any bad intentions lurking within them.
Rocco had been somewhat cautious about the new family, who hadn’t appeared in the original story.
However, given the situation, it seemed like he could relax his guard.
"By the way... are those your sons?" Feilu asked, his voice curious.
Rocco had been lost in thought, considering the Don Ferocelli family, when he suddenly snapped back to reality at Feilu’s question.
He looked up, and as expected, Feilu’s wide, blinking eyes were directed at him.
Apparently, even the Head of the Don Ferocelli family had been watching them too, as both he and Feilu were now staring at Rocco.
Suddenly flustered, Rocco began to nervously fidget, but Sylas smoothly pulled him closer, keeping his usual calm demeanor while introducing them coolly.
"We are from the Di Malvento family. I am Sylas, the heir of the Di Malvento family. This is my younger brother..." he began.
"R-Rocco! I’m six years old!" Rocco quickly added, raising one finger on one hand and five on the other, giving a clear introduction.
It wasn’t until after he introduced himself that Rocco realized how much it resembled the greeting of a small child to an adult.
By the time he realized it, everyone around them had started giggling and covering their mouths with their hands.
"Hehe... my apologies. Your son is so adorable," the Head of the Don Ferocelli family said, adjusting the monocle that had slipped while he laughed. freewёbnoνel.com
He cleared his throat and continued.
Rocco puffed his cheeks in mild annoyance at the remark. "I’m not cute... I’m cool..." he muttered under his breath.
Sylas, noticing Rocco’s sulking, patted his head in a calm, affectionate manner.
His expression remained neutral, but the way he looked at Rocco with a slightly amused gaze only added to Rocco’s frustration.
It was clear Sylas was treating him like a child... well, he was a child.
The atmosphere, lightened by Rocco’s cute introduction, seemed to relax further.
The Head of the Don Ferocelli family smiled gently and gestured toward the hallway. "Please, allow me to show you to the hall."
The atmosphere shifted from relaxed to tense the moment Rocco stepped into the large hall.
