" You are not really gonna let them off are you?" A fair skinned woman with a refined look was seated at the end of a dining table in a beautiful room with her legs crossed ,playing some online game. Her eyes traced towards Arkon Xandros who had just entered the room.

" Of course I was being honest when I said won’t intervene. I only intend to remind them of what Darkhaven will do to them when he finds them. After all, if my speculation is right, and the memories of the strange creatures he creates from dead bodies can be retained, those guys ,especially the high ranked member, will give him some valuable information, including the location of those spies. However I want Kailen Darkhaven to know that I’ve beaten him to it. Arkon clicked his tongue as he plopped into an arm chair " You are the vice president of the Syndicate, I have you for that"

The woman chuckled " You simply don’t care about them . I know you. To you, everyone is a chess piece , even me"

Arkon winked at the woman " You know this, and yet, here you are"

The woman did not reply this time, her cheeks became red . She coughed awkwardly then replied " I’m really fascinated by you ,errm your research, that’s why I’ve followed you all this while. You’ve never refused to share your bed with me,yet you’ve never shared your heart with me.

Arkon layered further, ignoring the complicated direction in which she was attempting to drive the conversation. In his opinion he could always say yes to some stress relief ,however no woman could take the place of his wife " Err right. The only reason he will then decide to hunt them down will be because he has some sort of connection to one of the beast tides we’ve caused with the Terror Inducing devices, therefore he intends to temporarily drive his rage and thirst for vengeance he would feel towards the syndicate towards them. I just want to suggest to them a better and easy way out"

The woman sighed incredulously " Suicide, you want them to kill themselves, by threathening to release their crimes to the public if they didn’t do so"

" Exactly, I’ll also layer that even if they don’t decide to commit suicide Darkhaven is coming for them. They could try to flee but ,under the radar of the military, there’s no running away for them, that will label them as easy targetd as the special ops agent who was with Darkhaven has probably informed the military about the possibility of spies amongst the military by now"

"It’s times like this that I’m reminded of how terrifying you are" The woman shook her head.

The woman was right. Even Kailen would be completely shocked if he heard the inferences Arkon Xandros had just made.

" It’s nothing spectacular"

The woman approached him in her bathrobes,ignoring his humble bragging " Why don’t we head inside and have a break from all this?" Her tone was soft, as she winked lewdly.

Arkon nodded with a wry smile ,then joked " You have to go easy on me, don’t want to end up like that bastard"

The woman shrugged, heading towards the fridge for some juice " You are the one who told me to kill him the same way he killed your wife and daughter . But you keep rubbing it in my face as though it were my idea" freewebnσvel.cѳm

Arkon stood up, donned a mouthful of apple juice, heading towards the bedroom " Don’t take too long out there Zoey, not after stimulating my appetite"

Zoey sighed as she donned another apple juice " I had to become his research assistant, and here I am many years later, in love with a psycopathic man I know may never reciprocate my feelings. Am I not a psychopath myself in the end? Perhaps after helping him get what he wants, he will reciprocate my feelings?"

She left the empty cup on the glass table ,then trailed to the bedroom. It was gonna be a long night.

Perhaps if she knew Arkon Xandros wanted to raze the world completely to the ground, then commit suicide after gaining control of the world , perhaps she wouldn’t have wasted her time supporting his pursuits ,all in the name of love, inasmuch as she herself, had a million screws lose in the head.

Stan and his wife were shocked .

They had no idea what their daughter, brother and Kailen were going on about.

Also, Darkhaven had just interrogated their son as being a member of this Terror Surge Syndicate?

What the hell was going on?

However they knew that with Angela’s temperament and how much she loved her younger brother, there was no way she would just watch someone disrespect her brother.

From the interaction between Kailen and their daughter just now, it seemed they had both planned the interrogation that just occured.

However what Kailen asked next and the reply their son gave made them really curious.

" What news?" Kailen ,Angela, Stan and Gretzinger his wife, and even Arrie, asked in unison.

Isaac sighed , melancholy tinged in his voice " My direct superior alongside about 50 others committed suicide today, right after your live stream"

Kailen smiled and shook his head. 50 people huh. According to memories he had received ,the number of spies in the military affiliated to the syndicate were 50. He knew all their names and positions. All these guys had serious ties to the black market ,involved in activities such as sex trafficking human trafficking , money laundering amongst others . They were scum amongst scum ,perhaps, the requirement the syndicate found in them that made them suitable for the role.

From the information he had found out ,those guys who posed as spies for the syndicate just delivered military information and weapons to the syndicate, not engaged in any form of decision making of the syndicate,nor did they even have any memories of the secrets of the organisation . Because they were not equipped with any secrets of the syndicate, they had not even been equipped with the self destruction mechanism of the syndicate.

However it seemed those gentlemen had figured out that Darkhaven would come for them and had chosen the easy way out, suicide.

There was also the possibility that Arkon Xandros had something to do with their deaths.

Or he could have just threathened them by saying he’d release the secret information of their crimes to the general public if they didn’t commit suicide, probably further adding that even if he didn’t do that, Kailen would come for them anyway.

That would let them wallow in a pool of despair and they would kill themselves.

"Interesting" Kailen could not help but muse.

He excused himself and left with Arrie and Angela to stand at a corner in the room ,explaining his conjectures to them.

" They may be dead,but their crimes must be brought to light ,and the existence of the Syndicate cannot be covered up. The world must know about them" Angela voiced then added " The meeting with the higher ups in the Rath Continent Federation board members present and the higher ups of the miliatary and family heads of the noble families present must happen at all cost!"
