" About time this guy had some improvement " Kailen stared at shadow creatures in the shadow expanse.

Feral had finally achieved a breakthrough.

It had reached the A rank. The shadow creature now seemed more feral as black flames flickered from time to time in it’s abyss like benighted eyes.

Each step it took in the shadow expanse would cause the formless, amorphous space to quake, a testament of how much power it had achieved. Kailen couldn’t wait to test it’s prowess in battle.

Kailen was not surprised. The seas of the continents were currently looming with unknown threats. Some of the diabolic beasts had not even made an appearance yet before.

However , humanity was not stupid enough to think that just because the Coling Terror and a few other monstrosities had made an appearance meant that this was all there was to the number of diabolic beasts .

" Even at this level, I cannot really say the people I care about and myself are safe " Kailen sighed .

His gaze lingered on Avarice. The shadow creature had also gotten to the A rank just like Feral.

The glyphs on its flute brimmed ntensely with scintillating light, giving Kailen an ominous feeling.

The creature’s appearance had not received any significant improvement , except that it’s thick obisidian draconic scales had become more robust, layers of frost appearing and disappearing on its draconic scales and body from time to time .

Phantom and Menace had just stepped into the S rank , the three dark fiend shadow hounds were also at the A rank now .

To sum things up, Kailen had become more monstrous than he previously was.

A large number of collosal creatures appeared on the large forest ground before them, causing everyone to gasp in astonishment.

Kailen had not been given permission by the time dilation artifact to tell anyone about anything related to it. There was no way he would tell them these creatures appeared from the storage ring .

It wasn’t that he didn’t trust them. It was just that the time dilation artifact had not permitted him to tell them.

Also, Kailen would have still kept to himself even if the Time Dilation Artifact had given him the freedom to choose whether to tell them or not .

He still knew too little about the time dilation artifact.

Unless the time dilation artifact had told him enough for him to ascertain the risks involved in letting them know about the time dilation artifact ,he would keep it a secret from them.

Initially, Kailen had decided to carry the secret of the time dilation artifact with him forever . However this was the current decision he had made.

The diabolic beasts lay sprawled on the ground, including a couple of A ranked hobgoblins and A ranked diabolic beasts Kailen had hunted in the time Dilation Artifact.

Kailen ignored the time dilation artifact , staring at the small army of collosal shadow creatures standing before him.

Angela, Phila ,Micheal and Arrie were completely shocked, their mouths hanging open.

The terrifying energy radiating from the shadow creatures caused them to shiver . Also , just how and when did this guy manage to slaughter this large number of diabolic beasts he had just turned into shadow creatures ?

However they didn’t ask. Kailen was someone who had always managed to pull off miraculous feats. Someone like this guy simply defied reason.

Observing their reactions ,Kailen chuckled. Even he himself had mixed feelings at this point.

He had imagined himself terrorising the diabolic beasts with an army of shadow creatures,not to mention traversing the sea of stars with them and standing at the peak of the universe.

" It seems I can now be considered as having formed a small army, a small step towards that goal"

Kailen smiled, as the small army of shadow creatures kneeled and made obeisance to him.

He called the leader of the Hobgoblins, the one he had a serious showdown with in the pocket world.

" Your name is Arak. After all, you kinda look like some guy in a game I played when I was growing up " Kailen added.

The hobgoblin nodded, making a bowing gesture to Kailen. " Now, enter the shadow expanse , the two of you, remain "

The shaodow creatures dissapeared into the shadow expanse, leaving Phil’s shadow and the shadow of the national level Guardian Awakener behind.

Kailen’s group of friends observed everything with incredulous expressions .

The scene was the strangest one they had ever seen.

" So this is how it feels like seeing him use this part of his affinity up close. It’s terrifying" Angela sighed, causing the others to nod in agreement.

" Phila, you said earlier that you’d be okay if I turned your brother into my shadow creature. Are you still certain about this?"

Kailen asked. Although he had confirmed by the Detective Gimmick’s skill that Phila was sincere when she said she was okay with it, he asked one more time to see if hee opinion had changed now that he had turned him into a shadow creature.

"Yeah, I’m sure. My brother is dead . Whatever this is, it’s not him" Kailen nodded, relieved that this was what she honestly believed.

If she still found it a problem and thought her brother was still alive, Kailen would have been very uncomfortable. After all, there would have been no way to get rid of the shadow creature just because she felt that way.

That would have made things awkward between Phila and him, and naturally Micheal. However it seemed he had been worried for naught.

" Alright, it’s a relief then" Arrie beamed with a smile, her expression bubbly, seemingly dispelling a large portion of the tensious atmosphere Kailen’s question had created.

Kailen didn’t know it himself, however he had this presence that seemed to put people at the edge of their seats naturally.

Kailen’s shadow creatures couldn’t talk at their level. He had to settle for reading their memories.

He could technically do that since the shadow creatures could in a way be considered a part of him.

"Transfer your every memory concerning the Terror Surge Syndicate to me" Kailen gestured towards the National Level Guardian awakener now turned shadow creature.

Kailen stood rooted in the same spot, his eyes widening from time to time.

Various expressions of shock would appear on his face . The memories he was receiving were nothing to scoff at.

His friends were starting to worry, thinking something was happening to him, however Angela reassured them , indicating that he would be fine .

She had been in the military for a while and would be naturally more composed in a situation like this compared to others. Also she inferred that Kailen was probably receiving some extremely shocking memory that caused him to react in shock.
