In a dark room illuminated by dim red lights , Arkon Xandros stood in front of a large satellite screen with a wide grin plastered on his face.

She wish her husband didn’t have to go.

His wife finally relieved him of the hug after a few moments.

Felicia jumped into his arms " Dady, I’ll miss you"

Micheal finally stood up after kissing her forehead .

The young girl turned towards Kailen

" Uncle, I know you are strong, but don’t die"

Kailen smiled " I won’t . Non of us will"

" Guys, it’s time.Angela,my mum and Lee have taken the lead. We are the remaining ones here " Charles voiced.

Micheal turned towards Simpsons and gave the man a nod " Mr Simpsons,take good care of them for me please"

Satisfied with Simpsons’ response Micheal smiled to his family before he joined Kailen and the others .

The group gave their last wave to Phila, Felicia and Simpsons who had come to see them entered the private jet.

The private jet made mechanical sounds as it lifted , then shot off, leaving a trail of of clouds in it’s wake.

" Is your lady an awakener ?" Arrie asked Charles.

" Not really why do you ask?" Charles replied.

" Just curious " Arrie shrugged, honest.

" Wow. She makes weapons?" Kailen asked.

Kailen mused inwardly " Seems they will be bringing these military weapons that can deal with S ranked awakeners to deal with the S ranked diabolic beasts . They probably want to smear the weapons with some of the hallucinogenic potions and the poisons to increase their lethality.

My guess is the military personells will obviously be using those weapons naturally"

" Well mum’s research has contributed greatly to the military artificer’s industry" Arrie said "If she sees her as a mentor that’s understandable"

Everyone nodded in agreement . The place was silent for a while with only Arrie’s humming sounds until Micheal broke the silence .

"War huh" He sighed.

" After that we got the Antarctica expedition" Arrie slumped into a sofa " Looks like we are gonna be busy for a while"

" It’s good everyone has made massive improvements. That way we won’t have to worry about losing anyone" Kailen commented sincerely.

" Yeah ,I’m literally an S ranked now baby!" Charles made a dramatic gesture as he stood up and started performing a weird dance.

The group stared at him incredulously, then broke into laughter.

Everyone gave Charles a death glare including Kailen.

Borngreat Tribiani stood by Donalds in a large room in the military base of the Rath Continent . The sounds of military vehicles and helicopters alongside military personnel making sounds and shouting around wafted in their ears from time to time .

The duo however ignored the normal rowdy atmosphere know for military bases, remained silent for a while before one of them broke the silence .

" Said you had a confession to make?"

Donalds spoke as he turned to look at Borngreat Tribiani .

" My feelings for Helena-" Tribiani spoke with nervousness in his voice.

Donalds did not get angry, however his eyes flickered with emotion before they became calm again. " I know "

"You know when I learnt you guys had separated in the past I was very happy . Sad thing is I couldn’t pursue her because I was married by then" Brongreat sighed.

" Sad thing to be married?. Think your wife will be happy hearing that?" Donalds chuckled, shaking his head sideways.

Donalds remained silent for a while then spoke "Matters of the heart can be complex. Can’t blame you for falling in love with her, old friend. However she’s now mine"

Tribiani chuckled " I know. And I have realized how much my wife meant to me when she threathened me with divorce "

Donalds chuckled " Izzy is one wild woman. Not surprised "

" Yeah" Tribiani replied " I realized she means more to me than I thought she did. And I’ve come to really love her to a point where it’s not worth obsessing over another woman"

" Why are you telling me all this?" Donalds voiced.

" Because despite the fact that we are friends, that slight animosity I notice in your eyes anytime we meet is still palpable. I didn’t fail to realize how you both scurried away to avoid me during the duels at the banquet.Just wanted you to know that unlike that time, I’m no longer interested in Helena. So can we just get along like old times ?"

Donalds sighed " Alright . Water under the bridge"

" Thanks man " Tribiani raised his glass politely then downed it.

" Anyway you sure about this plan?" Donalds voiced.

" Yeah , Im.now more certain than ever that the war is just a diversion" Tribiani said "What do you think will happen to this continent when both the national level guardian awakeners on the continent and the strongest person in the federation are all on the battlefield at the border at the same time?"

" Apart from the Sia border guarded by my disciple, the other parts of the world will be left unguarded " Donalds voiced in realization then furthered " Despite the fact that I hate your guts, I admire your wits. Lets publicly make an appearance on the battlefield to bait the enemy to make an appearance at the unguarded regions then. What did you say he said again when you told him?"

" Kailen?" Tribiani said " I know sir . Arkon thinks he’s setting a trap for me. But I have everything under control. When he makes an appearance, I’ll be watching, and I’ll strike. That was all he said."

Donalds sighed " That kid, is extremely dangerous. So he had already predicted this war is just a diversion? What a monster "

Tribiani nodded " With him thinking the same thing , that confirms my train of thought. Even your disciple and his team will be needing more reinforcements at antartica "

" Looks like this war will determine not just the fate of the continent, but the fate of the world " Donalds nodded and said ,gravely " If this Xandros will be making an appearance himself, then he probably will be stimulating beast tides on not just the Rath Continent , but the Sia and Urna continents . He chose to stimulate those beast tides on the Narama Rath boarder to draw our attention and manpower to that part so that other places will be easy to attack"

Tribiani added " It’s a good thing the Global Federation council agreed to the plan"

Donalds said " Those bastards only agreed because you mentioned Darkhaven had a similar train of thought. Since he’s the strongest person in the federation, they had no choice but to agree to the plan"
