Fake Marriage To The Richest Tycoon-Chapter 96: Why was he so damn heavy?
Chapter 96: Chapter 96: Why was he so damn heavy?
Is that a dead body or a homeless person? The long legs looked somewhat familiar.
She inched closer and leaned over the bush to take a look.
Sure enough, it was Shentu Jing, her fake husband. What was he doing here? He was sleeping on the cold ground!
The tycoon of Shengjing would actually sleep on the dirty ground in a public space? If the news were to get out, it would definitely go viral.
She couldn’t help but laugh at his silliness. Coming all the way to spy on her and send her gifts—what was it for? The Shentu mansion was very far from her new apartment. She already knew it was him who sent those things because the person who sent them knew what she liked to eat and what things she liked.
Huh, Shentu Jing must have paid extra attention to her habits to have known that. He’s quite attentive. Qin Zhuzhu was somehow pleased. He treated her better than her ex-husband, Xu Meng, who ignored her and treated her badly. But when she thought of Shentu Jing’s family, she became angry once again. A happy family was something she craved for. She couldn’t stand a family who were pretentious.
She reached out and pinched his cheeks.
"Why didn’t you tell me who you were? Why didn’t you say, huh?"
"You should have told me that you were Shentu Jing. Was your family lying to me? Now I made a fool of myself, you bad man, rotten Jing, Big Demon Jing," she scolded him.
But the man was fast asleep and didn’t respond. Come to think of it, he looks quite handsome and cute when he’s asleep. She stared at his face, almost mesmerized by those drop-dead gorgeous features. This face could seduce and bring many women to their knees.
Suddenly, a thought crossed her mind. She might not be the first girl he kissed or slept with, right? He was best friends with Peixuan Ruxi, and they went to nightclubs together. He must have met many girls.
Qin Zhuzhu’s mood turned sour again. She glared at the man who was sleeping peacefully with no care in the world.
Her heart started to feel restless. She propped her chin on her palm, glaring at him ferociously as if trying to bore a hole in his head.
She bit her lips.
He must be a playboy. If not, how could he act so playful and tender with her?
She was tempted to leave him out here to freeze in the cold. That would make her feel better. But it didn’t sit well with her. She felt like she couldn’t leave him just like this.
"This is not the right place to sleep. It can’t be that he had trouble sleeping again? Oh, how terrible," she looked around and realized that there was no one around.
Now she had to haul and carry a pack of muscular baggage to her apartment.
"Consider yourself lucky," she grumbled under her breath.
Shentu Jing moved and muttered something under his breath when she draped his arm over her shoulder.
She froze, afraid that she had woken him up. She looked at his side profile. Stunningly beautiful and ethereal. He must have been very tired because she accidentally knocked his head on the little signboard above, yet he didn’t wake up.
Qin Zhuzhu helped him up the stairs, almost dropping him. She quickly put him down, took two deep breaths, and continued to support him up to her apartment. The lift wasn’t working, so she had a hard time.
Why. Was. He. So. Damn. Heavy.
"I should have exercised more," she wailed. Finally, she reached her room and took out the keys to unlock her door.
Unfortunately, Shentu Jing suddenly moved his arm and hit her hand! The keys slipped out of her fingers and fell somewhere. It was dark, so it was hard to see.
Qin Zhuzhu silently cursed. What bad luck!
She glanced at Shentu Jing, who was still sleeping soundly. It’s all your fault, she blamed him. It seemed like they would have to spend the night outside her door, together.
The man leaned his head against her, rubbing his cheek against hers, engraving himself in her heart at that moment. Qin Zhuzhu sucked in a breath, her eyes almost popping out of their sockets. She forgot why she was even angry at him in the first place.
It can’t be like what Sanya said—his beauty had gotten into her head.
Qin Zhuzhu shook her head vigorously to get Sanya’s crazy words out of her head. But in the process of shaking her head, her lips accidentally rubbed against his thin, pink lips. Electricity shook her entire small frame.
Ah! How could this happen?!
The memories of Shentu Jing ravaging her lips and kissing her resurfaced in her mind. That was her first kiss he had stolen that day! This current scene reminded her of how his lips felt on hers—soft, soothing, tasty, sexy, full of desire.
Oh my god, I need to keep him away from me! Qin Zhuzhu panicked and became nervous.
Just don’t think about him, don’t think about him. She tried to encourage herself. But the more she tried to kick those memories out, the more she kept thinking about them.
I need to splash some cold water on my head! She thought inwardly.
Then she calmed down, chiding herself.
He’s asleep, so he can’t see what I’m doing, right? She thought with a mischievous glint in her eyes.
The next morning, Shentu Jing woke up, rubbing his eyes. Surprisingly, he had slept better and didn’t drift in and out of sleep.
He looked around. His surroundings seemed different. Where was he? There was a blanket lazily thrown over his body. The blanket was small, like it was meant for someone who was shorter and smaller in size, so it didn’t cover his long legs.
Then he looked further down. Shit! Where was he?!
How did he get here!?
