EX-Grade Ability Card: Tower Ascension with My Absolute Restoration-Chapter 36: Abomination
Chapter 36: Abomination
[Equipment: Evil Fang Sword (A-Grade Weapon, Upgradeable)]
[Current Level: 2 (Reach level 20 to upgrade the weapon to S-Grade)]
[A Sword that is forged with the bone of the Evil Star Wolf rather than the fang that is described in its name. Its fang is used rather to sharpen this bone to a degree that it can cut through cold iron with extreme ease. This sword has an inherently evil aura to it, causing any inexperienced ascender to feel quite uncomfortable just by being around it.]
[Usage Requirement: Blood-bound individual]
[Effects: +22% strength, +22% agility, +11% stamina, +11% dexterity, +1.1% lunacy, Improves the efficiency of life force absorption by 10%]
[Note: This is a growth-type weapon that can accompany the ascender using it for a long time, it is recommended for the owner of this weapon to feed the weapon with materials that will allow it to grow to further heights and reach its full potential]
Looking at the information about the weapon on his hand, the young man nods in appreciation once again, feeling like even this small increase in the Evil Fang Sword’s effects brings him quite the improvement, and yet the best part of this level up is still not that, but the last effect that this weapon has.
’This means faster an even faster growth rate for me...’ he thought to himself as his gaze landed on the remaining monsters previously approaching his direction, said monsters seemingly smart enough to realize that they are not capable of dealing with this young man, making them turn their tail as they start to floor it as much as they can to get away from this place.
"Hey hey hey, my Evil Fang hasn’t eaten enough yet!!!" watching the escaping monsters, the young man then shouted as the muscle on the arm holding the sword starts contracting, his chest expanding to the limit before he released a single sound, signaling his muscle to react and surprising the next victim of the malevolent sword.
"Hup!" he squeezed out of his lungs as he exhaled, swinging the arm wielding the sword and letting it out of his grasp, the sword tearing through the air as it shoots towards their next target, this target still blissfully unaware of the unfortunate fate that is about to come its way.
Whistling through the air as it approaches a fast, twelve-limbed mix between a spider and a bear, the sword closes distance with it more and more, its murderous presence only being detected by the creature the last moments before it bore a hole through its head, giving it enough time to react as it uses its spider limbs to quickly turn around, using both its paws trying its hardest to stop the sword from its path as it sandwiches it with both its paws.
Meanwhile, the owner of the sword is finally making his next move as well, once again taking a lot of air in his lungs as he lunges forward, his lower muscles contracting and revealing his well-trained figure, before he allows it to relax as he explodes in speed, reaching the location of the bear monster in no time at all.
"No no no, you shouldn’t stop it baby bear, I’ll help you rest~" the young man said with a smile on his face as he pushes the sword just stopped on its trajectory, the bear monster’s tightly clasping hands bleeding from the friction of the sword as it tries its best to stop it from moving any closer, and yet unfortunate for it, the strength the young man wielding the sword possesses appears to be higher than his, not to mention the evil aura the sword is constantly emitting making it harder for itself to move as nimble as it usually does.
After letting out a loud unresigned roar, hoping that it can empower itself to get out of this terrifying small creature’s grasp, the bear monster couldn’t help but feel its own end getting closer and closer as it felt the cold end of the jet-black sword reaching its forehead, making it push its arms even harder in hopes of stopping the sword from penetrating any deeper on its head, a hope that is all for vain as a bright red flash once again comes out of the sword, piercing a hole through its skull and effectively drilling its brain, turning it into a mush.
As the bear monster falls onto the ground, the young man decided that it is better to just absorb it later as he is still certain that he can catch up with a couple more of the monsters trying to escape, making him focus on the next target as his speed starts to increase once again, catching up with this next target with ease as it isn’t as fast as the bear monster that just died previously.
"Where the hell do you think you’re going huh?" appearing right in front of his next target, the young man bears a modest smile on his face as he swung the sword in his hand downwards, splitting the monster into two and allowing him to set his eyes on his next target, leaving this monster’s body to deal with for later as well.
Somewhere deep within this lush, green forest of towering trees and creatures that can be so dangerous they can snap an average ascender into two with ease, there is a place where the situation is reversed, these monsters feared for their unmatched ferocity trying their best to get away from a certain calamity that is hunting them one by one, ending lives in the most brutal of ways, this calamity being a creature that is usually an easy prey not even worth hunting for them. ƒree𝑤ebnσvel.com
As shrill, chill-inducing cries reverberates all across this land branded by the ascenders as a domain of death, one might wonder just what sort of abomination is scary enough to make the monsters of this place, known for their unmatched strength, scream in terror, these wondering people not expecting the identity of this ’abomination’ making all these monsters tremble in fear.
A young man with a jet-black sword in his hand.
