It’s one of those stories where the main character hides crucial truths from the people closest to him, not for any real reason except to gain an advantage over those he loves (his words). I’ll try to keep reading because the story is pretty good overall, but I just can’t bring myself to like the MC. He’s simply not someone I can relate to, he is a pos.
