Chapter 571: Chapter 570: helping a small base 2

Luciel, who had just come out of the RV, looked around the small base after hearing what the fire user said and saw that a lot of people were really frantically collecting some of their things while fighting or avoiding the rats that had managed to enter the base.

They were all moving hurriedly, but he could see that the base actually lacked proper transportation for everyone that was already moving, as there were only a few cars near the gate that they were in. He could also still hear more people around the base who were still moving around.

"But there are thousands of them!" the fire user said again.

There are indeed thousands of the rats, but they could certainly clean them all up.

The members immediately began moving and went up the walls of the base. Treyton turned to him and asked, "Are you also going to participate?"

"Yeah," Luciel simply said.

The numbers of rats outside were a lot, and he even saw more rats coming from somewhere, so it’s certainly enough for him to move his body again.

After covering them with vines for additional protection for the younger kids that had stayed in their RV, Luciel immediately went up the thin wall that the small base had, while Yang stayed a bit to talk to the fire user before also going up to help.

After going up the wall, the earth and metal walls that the others had made were already there, so at least the flimsy wall could finally withstand a lot of rats and wasn’t so flimsy that a lot of rats were able to enter the base because it had some holes.

Those from the small base were obviously very happy about the walls that the members had built.

As for him, he didn’t pay much attention to it and immediately started attacking the mutant rats that were in front of him, focusing on the big ones.

He used his vines to attack them and also used those vines as a walkway to directly attack the mutant rats with his glaive.

He didn’t plan on just staying on the wall, as he planned to move his body, so he walked on the vines that he used to entangle some of the big mutant rats and began dealing with them with the glaive that he had.

Since the fur of the rats was really very thick, he had to use more force to deal with them, and he also targeted their eyes and mouths so that he could easily deal with them.

He made sure to keep moving around the big mutant rats and didn’t land on the ground, which was filled with smaller mutant rats, as they could immediately start gnawing on something as soon as it landed on them without protection.

The rats were certainly smaller, but they were still very ferocious; that’s why Luciel was only using his vines to step on, and when some smaller rats tried to climb them, he would also strangle them with the vines while dealing with the bigger mutant rats that were his targets.

Aside from him going out beyond the walls, most of the other members had stayed on the walls to deal with the rats because a lot of rats were really trying to climb them if they used something to step on.

Even the walls were actually being climbed by those smaller rats, but they were being dealt with by those with wind and earth abilities; that’s why most of them were only staying on the walls so that they won’t have to waste any more of their abilities and stamina, and could focus more on dealing with all the rats that were attacking the small base.

Well, even though they were only staying on the walls, their powers were strong enough to deal with a lot of rats already. For example, Treyton and those with very strong attack power could immediately kill a lot of rats that were attacking them.

As for him, he was focused more on exercising his body and checking if there was really no problem with him, so he wasn’t in a hurry to use most of his ability.

He was only using his vines to step on and entangle some of the mutant rats that he wanted to deal with.

But even though he wasn’t using his full powers, he was still able to deal with a lot of mutant rats, as he was moving around continuously and targeting their weaknesses so he could kill them quickly with just one or two moves before moving to the next mutant rat.
