’It’s not surprising...’ I was already aware of how he felt about me which is exactly why I had chosen him for tonight.
’.....’ I trembled at the thought and looked at Gio who was still glaring at me with anger in his hazel eyes.
"Is that so?" I responded calmly despite the clear killing intent and my own raging emotions inside my chest. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢
"...." Gio flinched at my voice yet surprisingly he managed to keep his straight as if trying not to cower before me.
He was the exact type of person I was looking for.
Someone who hated me but wouldn’t meekly back down because of my strength.
"I don’t particularly like you either" I stood up from the couch which made Gio tense up and take a step back.
"I feel like we got off on the wrong foot" I ignored his tension and stepped forward with a smile on the edge of my lips.
"So I wanted to apologize" I apologized with the most sincere expression I could make even if I didn’t mean it.
"W~what?" Gio was visibly shocked at my statement and couldn’t stop himself from stumbling over his words.
"Did my sister put you up to this?" The dark skinned elf narrowed his eyes and once again looked around the room.
"No she didn’t" I shook my head denying his words while licking my dry lips and trying to calm my racing heart.
"I know that you’ll have a hard time believing me which is why I wanted to give you a gift to show my sincerity" I continued to speak and walked past Gio until causing the golden haired elf to turn around toward me.
"A gift?" Gio was still very clearly wary as he stared over at me but his pointy ears twitched at the words gift.
"I racked my mind with different ideas until I came up with the perfect answer" I looked at Gianna’s younger brother with a smile still on my lips.
"You’re the type of man who loves beautiful women right?" I asked although I already knew the answer to that question.
".....Of course" Gio still looked wary but nodded his head in agreement causing his golden hair to sway around.
"Then I think you’ll love the gift I prepared" I said with a pounding heart as I met Gio’s hazel eyes full of confusion.
On cue the door to the bathroom opened and a figure stepped out drawing Gio’s attention. A towering woman appeared with a black helmet covering her head. She wore a simple white robe that went all the way down to her thick muscular calves, Every inch of her body was covered beside her hands and delicate white feet. In fact the only reason you could tell it was a woman was because of the huge mountains on her chest that even a loose robe failed to hide.
"Iron Valkyrie!" Although Nova wasn’t wearing her armor the second Gio saw the mask his eyes widened in recognition.
"So this was a trap!" Gio instantly panicked and stepped back while channeling his mana for protection.
’As if you could stop me if I wanted you dead’ I felt amused seeing him staring fearfully as Nova came closer to us.
"You’re misunderstanding" Despite my enjoyment at Gio’s reaction I finally spoke up and gave him an expression telling him to calm down.
"....." Gio looked at me with narrowed eyes and then at the towering woman who finally came to a step to my left side.
"Nova is the gift" I gestured toward my first wife with my hand as I explained the situation to Gianna’s younger brother.
"H~huh?" Gio blinked at my statement but it seemed he still didn’t seem to understand and looked even more confused.
"A night with the famous Iron Valkyrie" I continued to explain but I couldn’t help but notice Nova stiffing slightly at my words.
"Doesn’t that peak your interest?" I asked Gio who expression was bewildered as if he couldn’t comprehend what I was saying.
"A night?" The dark skinned elf glanced at Nova before looking back over at me with utter disbelief in his eyes.
"Let me make sure I’m understanding this right" Gio was still on edge as he stared at me with furrowed eyes.
"...You’re offering your wife to me for the night?" Gio scoffed weakly showing that he wasn’t buying anything I was saying.
"Yes" I responded with a nod but the dark skinned elf just continued to stare at me with disbelief in his eyes.
