Chapter 335: Shocking Acquaintance

Garron is someone that is not loyal. And he is someone who he is cunning like a fox and as poisonous as the snake.

This is the Garron that Ayuka father knows

It is more probable that Garron could see that there is an opportunity to take Rudya tribe area and it resources while at the same time did not betray the alliance and not give him a bad name

If there is such a way, why would he not do it. He certainly would do it

"The cunning viper" he thought to himself.

Ayuka however, knows that it is not time to make enemies.

His action has already undermined the strength of the tribe. And if they are not careful, they could capsize.

So, he sent a letter to Utgard asking for his attitude a week ago. The Utgard chief simply said

"Cooperation is not impossible"

However, in the letter he also said, he needed to know how did Tawakka die and why did Ayuka usurp the eldest and took the seat of his father

If the matter is not enraging the gods and heaven and earth, the previous alliance between the Kazan and Utgard could always be restored

But that is if only Sayin is still alive. Utgard chief Garron, has three daughters. It is known that he favoured the second daughter, Ayera.

And this second daughter married the self-claimed Kan of the Brolgadhr.

But his eldest daughter married his older brother.

One glance and it is easy to see what Garron has been and keep planning.

When Tawakka, his father died, his brother would become the chief and Sayin as the daughter of the Viper would also have more influence and the alliance between the Kazan and Utgard would become even stronger.

But is that really so?

Ayuka has long fear his sister-in-law.

This is a woman as manipulative as the Viper itself. his brother himself is a weak-willed man and could easily be manipulated by his wife.

As for Sayin, Ayuka put her under arrest and she is guarded by his warrior. This is his leverage.

He could see that Garron is playing the long game and putting his eggs in many basket. There is one in the Brolgadhr tribe and there is one in his tribe.

Of course, when he sees Garron later he would not said these things.

Today, Ayuka has come to the tribe to discuss some things. The most important of which is the resuming of their alliance

Before he came here, Ayuka had made some research on Garron. And he knows that he has four sons.

Ogura, Sayushi, Barbager and Yonwa.

And from what he had researched these brothers could be used.

There is rumors that Ogura hated Sayushi.

The last time when Garron leaves the tribe, he gives the power of leadership toward Sayushi instead of Ogura.

"Alienation plan. Every time I thought of this plan, I could not help but think that person is really someone that could see through people hearts" he thought to himself.

This is not a strategy he came up.

Instead, it is a young child.

After he taken his father seat, he was quite confused on what he had to do. At that time, a young child come to his tribe and request to meet him.

Any other day, he would ignore such request but the messenger told him that the person has a solution to his problem.

When he met that person, he was surprised that it is a child. At that time, he nearly blows his top

But the child introduces himself and said that he is the disciple of Mayeux, the advisor to the Kan.

And that he now is travelling around the Steppe to seek experience and he has a strategy to solve the external problem of the tribe

It is only after hearing that the child is the disciple of Mayeux that Ayuka treated the child with great honour.

Even he knows that the Kan has Mayeux as his advisor and it is this advisor that helps Aeryon to govern his tribe

He then knows the name of this child.

Jayeux.

And it is at this time Jayeux gives him the stratagem of alienation.

At the same time, this child told him about his thoughts about Utgard tribe, their strength and weakness, their problems and the information and deduction about Garron and how he could use the strife between the sons of Garron to achieve the best result with minimal effort

Then the next morning, Jayeux has already left the tribe.

Ayuka lament the fact that the young child did not want to serve under him

When he heard the plan of that child, he hinted many times, that if he stays, he would treat him with great honour. And he would raise him above the others, if the method he had told him worked.

He even held a small banquet for this young child, an honour he rarely given to anyone else

It is known that if he were to rise and strengthen his tribe, he needs talented people.

Even though that young child could not fight in battle, someone who has such a mind would surely shine in the world.

Mayeux that advisor of the Kan also rarely fights in the battlefield but everyone in the Brolgadhr tribe praise his wisdom and his ability in governing the tribe so that even when the chief is not there, the operation of the tribe, the military affairs of the tribe was not even affected.

Having someone talented and capable like that is probably even more reassuring than a hundred warriors.

And that is a high estimation

He did not expect even after all he had done; the young child simply patted his butt and leave.

Even though this child did not want toc come under his tribe, the strategy he gives him is really wonderful and so before he came to the Utgard tribe, he first check the rivalry between the sons of Garron.

And he could see that there is a chance for the alienation tactics to work.

When he is resting from riding, he polish the plans in his mind multiple times and combine it with certain rumors he heard about Garron when he was in youth, he found a way to create something out of nothing

In a way, he modified it from his own tribe internal problem.

Garron is cunning and he treated everyone with the same cunningness even with his son. He treated them like knives that needs to be sharpened.

But he never stopped to think whether the knives could handle repeated sharpening.

This is what Jayeux told him.

And what happens to knives that could no longer endure the sharpening?

There is only one ending.

It would break.

Contradiction between brothers especially brothers of different mothers is most intense. Not to mention, the contradiction is the competition of the highest seat of the tribe.

The possession of power, the temptation of wealth and fame.... not many sons of the chief could free themselves from such desire.

Even more when such contradiction is fueled by their own father.

Jayeux told him the most difficult strategy to resolve is the strategy that attack the heart

Because it depends on the person heart.

A cautious person and a paranoid person is the most susceptible to this kind of attack

Even if he tries to trust, there would always be a voice in the back of their mind urging him to take precautions.

And once it is listened to, the crack in the trust would widened.

What Jayeux gave him is only a general direction and the plans is then expanded by himself.

This alone shows that Jayeux probably already knows the perfect plans but because he did not want to commit himself towards him, he did not tell the whole plan and let him think of it himself.

"The root of the matter is simply that I am too weak compared to the Kan in the lower South" he thought to himself.

As he walks around the tribe he could not help but narrows his eyes

"My father has always been wary about the rising strength of the Utgard tribe" he thought to himself

There is a sea of cavalry. Most of them have armour. He had heard that the Utgard tribe had bought many armours from the Brolgadhr tribe.

It is said that the Brolgadhr get the most iron during their raid toward Nurshira.

And most of the band of raiders form the Steppe that raid Nurshira would always goes to the Brolgadhr to send their armour and trade it with food or gold

Most of the warriors would trade it for other resources to raise their strength.

Brolgadhr tribe is allied with the Utgard tribe and it is not surprising that Utgard would uses this trade channel to arm his cavalry. But the more he sees warriors with armor, the more he is convinced of his father evaluation of Utgard tribe.

They are an ambitious tribe and while they were weak they would not be much a threat.

But once this viper has strength to bite, it would but without mercy and It would not let you go

Ayuka walks and recognise some of the people in the area.

There were bands or horse riders and even some bandits. It is clear that many of them joined the Utgard tribe or being hired by the Utgard tribe.

Then as he approached the tent of the chief, one person approached him from afar.

The young man introduced himself and Ayuka heard that this person is Ogura. He was shocked.
