The Strongest Body Customization System-Chapter 40: Ceiling-Level
Chapter 40 - Ceiling-Level
The golden laser became a scythe that reaped lives.
"Honorary Elder Ian is really so strong. His laser alone was enough to win the war. Even higher werewolves are like cabbages."
"Indeed, he alone is equivalent to thousands. He's a one-man army. No one wonders that the Vampire Council sent him to us. In just short two years and a few months, he had turned the tables..."
"Unfortunately, Captain Eusaff is gone now..."
The vampires talked one after another in a low voice.
Just like that, at the age of twenty-five. Ian won the war for the Blood Empire. Such merit allowed him to replace Eusaff as the commander of the army. His status and reputation weren't inferior to any seated Elder in the council, and he now had real power in his hands instead of the empty title. Now, he had a total of 500,000+ unspent, accumulated biomass!
Ian looked at his status.

'I'm already a young adult. But for a vampire, I'm still just a kid... Nah, even 100 years old is considered a kid in the Blood Realm.'
The war? It took so much time, even with his strength. He had fought an Omega werewolf at the last line of defense in charge of the camp in the mountain ahead of the Forbidden Forest. Neither of them could gain the upper hand in a fight. He's laser eyes failed. His claws failed. Though the Omega couldn't do anything to him. The stalemate of the war lasted for another year before the Werewolves Upper Echelons and the Vampire Council reached an agreement.
The Werewolves' race lost the war; the vampires won. The werewolf conceded a large part of their territory to the vampire race. They also agreed not to attack any elite seedlings of the vampire race for a hundred years, and a lot of agreements were disadvantageous to them. It could be said that losing this war made them bleed a lot.
With the end of the war, a peace was achieved between the sides. How could the werewolves not surrender when almost 70% of their upper-level soldiers had been killed in this war by damned laser-shooting bastard?
Not to mention, even vampires cannot afford to continue this war longer. War is costly. It had exhausted both sides' economy, supplies, and manpower... If they want another war to flip the table and distribution of interests, they need to recuperate. Of course, the werewolves were ultimately the final losers in this war.
Ian had a different perspective. In this war, soldiers were the ones who suffered while only the upper echelons of both sides benefited. Well, he might be considered one of the upper echelons with his status as the commander and Honorary Elder now?
"I need to prepare for the Secret Realm. There might be some opportunities there..."
His slot for the entry in the God of War Secret Realm had been guaranteed.
...
"It's been a long time, captain." Ian smiled at Barseagle. "Have you fully recovered?"
Barseagle looked at Ian with complex expression. "Don't call captain. You're now the highest commander of the Army and you're also a Honorary Elder... In just few short years, from a lesser vampire under my team, you've reached this height." His voice contained a hint of pride underneath. "I knew you have a good future ahead of you with the weird abilities you possesed but I didn't think it would just be a few years."
"I'm proud off you Commander Ian." Kate jested on the side with a teasing smile on her face.
Daniel and Liz raised the glass of liquor at same time. "Cheers for Commander Ian."
"Y-you guys... Don't call me like that. I feel shit." Ian clinked glass with them.
"Why not?" Daniel smirked.
Bareagle just chuckled on the side and dranked the liquor with red face. He felt that was ready to resign now. He felt proud with the growth of each member of his old team. Not to mention, he was very happy for Ian. It's like watching a younger brother turn into a full-fledge adult.
A contented smile crept on Ian's face. 'I couldn't just sever my ties to them after all. Indeed, I was reclutant deep inside. How could it be that simple?'
"Still, Ian, how did you return to normal size? Haven't you grown to five hundred meter last year? What the hell is up with your strange body?" Liz who just chugged her glass asked with tipsyly, her crimson eyes hazy. "Can you now adjust your size according to your will?"
Kate, Barsegle, and Daniel also looked at Ian with curiosity.
"It's also why I invited you guys for reunion this time. it's to celebrate my breakthrough in strength." Ian had a shit-eating grin, happy with the success of his idea.
At the age of twenty six, Ian had spent whopping amount of biomass to become a five hundred meter giant and then, spent almost two hundred thousand plus of biomass to compress his body, every muscle, every cell, bones, etc... to finer form until he had compressed his 500 meter body to just seven foot!
Did his strength decrease as a result? No, in reality, it allowed him to reach a new height that he wouldn't reach even if he become a thousand meter giant.
With the compressed muscle, his power had been amplified by fifty-fold!
For analogy, he's like goku in base form that transformed into super-saiyan 1 state permanently. His speed, strength, reaction time, stamina, energy-levels, vitality, etc... had experienced 50x amplification!
He could now kill at least a hundred of his previous five-hundred meter self without breaking a fucking sweat! Yeah, unbeliavable, right?
His power was concentrated in a small body that he became a terrifying monster. He could confidently thrashed Grand-Elder figures or SS-rank hunter to the ground at his current state. After all, all of his abilities including the laser eyes achieved qualitative leap.
His five hundred thousand biomass turned into a bubble though...

Ian looked at his updated status while chugging his glass. 'I've reached the ceiling-level of strength of the Curtained Imperium. Should I test my strength against the Alpha of Werewolf Race or challenge the Grand Elder? Or should I hide my strength? Is that even necessary? I am not a chinese MC...'
'Ironically, I'm still a lesser vampire.'
