The Seventh Base-Chapter 650 - 64 Heroic
Chapter 650 -64 Heroic
In the Library, many were anxious on behalf of Xu Mo. It was already time to close, and they hoped the school would intervene.
Outside the Library, Nilo and his followers stared at the direction of the Library with predatory eyes.
Douglas wasn’t standing with Nilo. Instead, he watched everything from afar. At times like this, naturally, he wanted to distance himself from the situation.
Nilo glanced at the time and a sinister smile appeared in his eyes as he whispered, “Still not coming out?” frёeweɓηovel.coɱ
Hide?
How long could one hide?
Even if the school intervened, what could they do? Could the school keep guarding Xu Mo forever?
Just then, a commotion arose in the distance. The people behind Nilo looked in that direction and soon saw a line of people approaching. They were clad in various colors of Armor and Battle Armor. However, they didn’t approach immediately but stopped in the distance.
Nilo saw this too and frowned as he looked towards the distance, “What’s going on?”
What were they planning to do?
Then, from other directions, more and more people appeared. Like the others before them, they were also dressed in Armor, fully armed.
Douglas, standing far away, saw the situation here and revealed a hint of surprise as he asked, “What are you guys doing?”
With an indifferent glance at him, someone said, “Everyone’s here now. There’s safety in numbers. Let’s see if the school dares to expel us all. Go!”
“Kill him.”
“Make him leave the school.”
Voices rose one after another, the crowd inflamed with anger as a line of people charged forward, and Douglas’s expression changed dramatically.
Then, from different directions, everyone charged out, including aerial troops flying through the sky, heading towards Nilo’s location.
Nilo watched the crowd bearing down on them, his face undergoing a drastic change. It seemed they realized this was targeted at them.
“Run!” Douglas yelled, fearing for their lives.
Had these people gone mad?
Surely, there had never been such an event in the history of Lucas University?
Who was inciting a student uprising?
“Prince Nilo.” The people beside Nilo also paled in shock, huddled around him, “Should we retreat?”
“How can we retreat?” Nilo’s face turned ashen. There were people everywhere. How dare they, how dare they!!
Their Source Power was unleashed instantly to form an Energy Shield. As the overwhelming crowd neared, they all rushed in, swarming them.
“You dare!” Nilo roared in defiance.
“Attack!” someone shouted and took the lead, charging forward.
“Crack…” A loud noise resounded. The attacker had his Armor sliced open by one of Nilo’s men, his body sent flying.
“They’re actually using weapons, kill them!” the crowd shouted angrily. Then, raising their guns in unison aimed at Nilo and his followers, their faces turned deathly pale.
“Drop it, drop it now!” Nilo yelled, and those beside him quickly discarded their weapons on the ground. These students had gone mad. If they really opened fire, it would spell their doom. Although Nilo was arrogant, he feared for his life when it was genuinely threatened.
“Don’t be rash,” Nilo said. “If something happens to me, the armies of the Baloma Kingdom will invade Lucas Star. Then, none of you can bear the consequences.”
He was obviously afraid. If so many people went berserk and really used their weapons, they would die horribly.
“Put away your weapons,” someone ordered, not daring to kill.
The next moment, the crowd surged forward again.
“Bang!”
One of Nilo’s men was knocked over by a punch, and then everyone charged forward.
Nilo and his men crouched down, covering their heads with their arms.
“Bang, Bang, Bang!” Nilo’s companions lay down, and then a punch hit Nilo directly, knocking him to the ground.
“Bang, Bang, Bang…” The crowd swarmed, Nilo tried to protect himself with Source Power, but the Energy Shield was quickly broken. Fists and feet flew, and Nilo soon let out an agonized howl.
“That’s for being so arrogant.”
“Get out of Lucas University.”
While attacking, the crowd didn’t forget to curse.
“Daring to lay a hand on our goddess Nan Xiangyi, you barbarian.” Thinking of this, someone kicked viciously. The pain was enough to crack Nilo’s bones, and he did not stop howling.
Douglas, along with the students in the distance, were stunned by this scene—one moment they were here to confront Xu Mo, and the next, they were being beaten.
Douglas’s heart quivered. Thankfully, he wasn’t with Nilo, or he would have ended up miserably.
This was too brutal. Who had done this?
He swiftly sent messages calling for backup. Someone was going to get killed.
Library.
People were still worried, looking at Xu Du calmly reading his book, unfazed by everything.
“Something has happened,” someone ran in shouting.
“Nilo’s coming in?” Xu Du thought to himself.
“Students are rioting, Nilo is getting beaten up,” said the newcomer.
“…” Everyone was stunned. Nilo was being beaten up by a mob?
“Let’s go see,” figure after figure headed outside.
Wal wore a strange expression. What had happened?
Nan Xiangyi looked puzzled. The incident where Nilo injured Wal had already passed several days ago. The students had made some noise a few times, but none of it amounted to anything and was quickly suppressed. Logically, the situation should have calmed down gradually.
But why had it suddenly escalated?
Was it because Nilo was going after Xu Mo?
Nan Xiangyi looked at Xu Mo, who seemed unaffected, as calm as ever as if it had nothing to do with him. Yet this made Nan Xiangyi keenly feel that this incident was probably not unrelated to Xu Mo.
