Chapter 150: Training with Ash

After a restless sleep the night started early. Ash woke Violet up with coffee and a breakfast shake. Today was the first day he’d train his wife. Waiting for years to test her potential and see what she was capable of, and the time finally came. Her ability to stomach violence changed drastically. He was excited.

Violet couldn’t be more grateful to have Ash as her husband. He was so different now from when they first met. His growth and capacity for love expanded so much over the years. His dedication to his family became a defining characteristic he didn’t possess before starting a family.

A tenderness about him that was only for her. He’d burn the world for her and their daughter.

Violet yawned and graciously took the coffee and started sipping it still in bed.

"Let’s get you ready for training, shall we, my love?" Ash asked her, extending his hand to lead her from the bed.

Violet decided on a pastel teal sports bra and white legging with black combat boots.

Ash stared at his beautiful life like she was the most alluring woman in the world.

Ash was shirtless, his muscles on full display. Training daily with Odette had toned his body more. His abs rippled and his pecks large and firm. He was the epitome of attractive in Violet’s eyes. He had on black cargo joggers and black combat boots.

Finishing her breakfast shake, they both head to the forest where the training ground would be.

After arriving they started with a warmup jog around the track. "I want you to give me your wall. Run like my life depends on it. Understand. We’ve got 3 miles. Nonstop."

Violet sighed, but she was also ready to know what she was capable of.

"Ready?" He asked her.

"Ready!" She did small fist pump.

"Let’s go." Ash said and took off running.

Violet smiled, and she felt this sense of competition. She wanted to be as fast as her husband. She needed to be strong to face what lied ahead and if she wanted to retrieve her daughter.

Ash looked back at Violet, and she was riding his heals, he smirked, proud of his little queen for being so fast already. Ash wasn’t running at top speed; he wanted to encourage her not make her feel incompetent.

"You’re doing great, keep at it." Ash shouted back to her.

She was determined. She ran as fast she could, keeping up with Ash, she felt proud. Clearing the first two miles like it was nothing, but by the third she was feeling the ache. The use of muscles she’s never really had too. Sweat beads appeared on her forehead and she started breathing heavy.

’I can do this, I’m so close.’ She told herself over and over. Her speed maintained the whole way, she strained herself, pushing her limits. When she finally reached the finish line, she wanted to collapse on the ground.

Ash scooped a sweaty and tired Violet into his arms. "You did great, darling."

"Thank you, I tried." Violet smiled hugging him tightly.

"Let’s move on to some stretching." Ash said. They stood face to face as Ash introduced her to proper stretching positions.

He couldn’t but notice the perfect curves of her body as she moved fluidly through the stretching. His thoughts started leading his mind into dirty places and his eyes followed. He watched her breasts bounce in the bra and her thighs flex.

When they finished stretching Ash told her it was time to practice fighting techniques.

"You remember how Odette and I practiced? How we circled each other. I want you to mimic that and lunge first. Any chance to strike first you take it and play to the advantage. Understood?"

"Yes."

They began circling each other. Violet watched his footing and started matching each step. Mirroring each movement. And when she felt confident, she lunged first. She swung and Ash blocked with his forearm, turned her move against her by capturing her wrist in a circular motion. She took her free hand swung it at him, but he ducked and stuck her softly in the gut. Violet grunted and slid back some. Ash didn’t hit her too hard, but enough she felt it, and she the anger start to simmer.

She launched herself upward to give herself a higher advantage point. But Ash saw it coming and slammed his hand into her sternum, knocking the wind from her. she dropped to the floor and when the air came rushing back in, it felt like her lungs were being ripped open. The pain made her clench her teeth from pain.

Now she was mad. The rage started boiling in her chest, flooding her veins with fire.

She learned quickly that confronting head on with simple moves wasn’t the way to go. She decided to try faking him out.

She lunged, he threw a punch she ducked, turned to the side, pivoting with her left leg and slamming the top of her right foot into his jaw, knocking him to the side slightly.

She kicked him hard, and the pain brought a smile to his face. He stretched his jaw some and wiped his mouth with his forearm.

"That was a good move. That’s the kind of energy I want to see." Ash said impressed with how quickly his little wife learned.

She moved with the grace of someone whose been fighting for much longer.

Her strength was far more than he initially thought.

"Again." He said firmly.

This time he lunged first.

Going for her waist, he planned to tackle her and attempt a grapple, but Violet had other plans. When Ash was close enough and low enough, Violet jumped into the air, splitting her legs and shoving her hands downward she the back of his head with such force his face was sent into the dirt. But before her feet reached ground, he rolled to the side and spun his body, tripping her as she made landfall knocking her off her feet.

He rose and dusted himself out and said "Again."

They went for 20 rounds which lasted about 2 hours, Violet winning 7 times against Ash.

Her body ached fiercely, she felt drained. Covered head to two in sweat and dirt, she felt gross, and was ready to call it a day, but Ash wasn’t done with her yet.

"Before we finish, we’ll down with a 2-mile run and stretching. We want the blood pumping in your body to reach your aching muscles. It will help with the inflammation." Ash knew that her warm blood would react differently than his. He watched and studied his daughter over the years they trained together daily.

The run took every last bit of her energy. She was utterly exhausted. Every muscle in her body ached, making every step she took, one full of agony.

"Do not feed, you need the pain, the pain helps with muscle memory and it will make you stronger and build your tolerance for pain." Ash informed her. She could see the hunger in her eyes.

But really, the pain would keep her distracted. Making it easier for his dearest Violet to cope with her daughter’s absence.

It had been two days since they last saw their daughter.

And if he was aching, she was crumbling inside. The pain will keep her occupied.

"Fine." Violet wasn’t pleased about being told she can’t feed, but she knew that Ash was experienced at training, he knew what he was talking about, and she trusted them, so she reluctantly agreed.

"I want a Spaghetti for dinner, and I want ice cream for dessert." Violet insisted firmly.

"Whatever you want, my love."
