Tyal's gray eyes twitched and flashed green. The snowstorm grew deadlier, and the wind howled louder. Zenia stopped moving and looked at the sky, seeing the clouds spiralling down from the heavens. Her frozen face masked all emotions, but something sparked in her eyes.

The snow around them started getting ripped off the ground and lifted by the wind, melted from their harrowing speed.

Zenia's body flashed with lightning, and her skin started melting into pure white radiance. The ground around her melted, and the blinding arcing light grew harsher.

While most races focused on expanding their magic outside their bodies to compensate for their small size against massive beasts in the form of an elemental expansion, the massive titans did the opposite.

From the lightning, a long serpent that rattled like a lightning bolt flew through the sky, roaring louder than thunder.

[Lightning Beast: Zenia]

Tyal cursed under her breath, that Cronos Raptur had pushed Zenia's body over her limit and even achieved a beast form. Only Zeus had managed such a feat while alive. How is she supposed to defeat such a thing?

But soon, she pushed all her worries and fears to the back of her head and focused on the task. She clapped her hands and channeled her magic outward. The first part of her gamble had worked.

Tyal's first bet was that the Cronos Raptur would be powerful enough and skilled enough to push Zenia into a beast form, and it did.

Tyal's second bet was that Zenia's beast form would be an elemental form, and that it would be one of her strongest magic spells, lightning. And that bet had paid back in full.

Now, as for the last bet, who knows if it'll work? While she can't pull a beast form, she can still pull an elemental expansion. Will her elemental expansion be able to suppress the lightning beast?

[Elemental Expansion: Typhoon]

The wind blew around them like a tornado, and the thunder clouds twisted in a circle, surrounding them from all sides. Tyal's elemental expansion was a literal typhoon that she could summon and control.

The lightning beast flashed toward Tyal like a lightning bolt, but was suddenly diverted toward the black clouds. She attacked again, but failed to reach Tyal once more.

Flying in the air, Tyal watched as the lightning beast tried to escape the eye of the typhoon and failed each time. She was using the charged thunder clouds to surround him and create an opposite current to cage her.

The gamble now was who would last longer? An elemental expansion that is spread over a large area, or a beast form that is made of condensed elemental energy.

And of course, Tyal won't be just trying to keep the lightning beast inside. The hail raining from her typhoon rained down on the lightning beast like a constant shower of bullets, trying to rip it to shreds. Lightning wasn't affected by physical attacks, but that didn't mean those hails didn't steal a tiny bit of energy and heat from it.

The Titans watched the clash from afar with both awe and fear in their eyes. Their gentle princess was trying to forcefully restrain the Cronos Raptur using a typhoon powerful enough to shift the eternal storm of the mountains.

All while the Cronos Raptur has managed to force its host to pull a legendary beast form, a feat only achieved by Zeus, the former Eye of the Storm.

The whole mountain range had drowned in chaos. The mountains were stripped bare from the snow, the monsters had fled away into the chasm, and even the violent storm was pushed away.

None of them would survive a second against that Cronos Raptur, especially in the lightning beast form. They doubt even their King Gale would hold as long as Tyal had held out.

But what terrfied them more wasn't the clash, it wasn't the Cronos Raptur, it was the tall, muscular dragon standing among them like a man glaring at the battle with a frown and burning purple eyes.

They are really treading on a thin line now. If Tyal was defeated, or worse, killed. Arad might end up turning against the Storm Titans on the spot. It was their king, Gale, who sent her to fight that thing after all. Even if Arad respected Gale's words as Tyal's father, that doesn't mean he won't go on a rampage.

Behind Arad, Alice was wearing her wizard robe, hat, and jewelry. She even had her staff out and a spell ready to cast. From what the Titans' wizards could tell, that spell was the ninth tier [Time Stop].

Claug didn't seem to be doing anything special, but knowing dragons, and especially green dragons, she must have her own plan to help. She might have even given Tyal some stimulant poison to power her up.

The problem was still Arad, and what would he do?

Then it happened too fast, too fast even for Alice to release her time stop. A fissure of low current appeared on Tyal's typhoon at the moment Zenia's beast form faded away.

The Cronos Raptur took that chance, and Zenia flew at blinding speed, her fist aimed at Tyal's throat.

Tyal was still reeling from her crumbling expansion, and even if Zenia's body should've been in even more pain, the Cornos Raptur didn't care about it.

Tyal knew at that moment that it was her loss. She won the endurance and lasted longer than the lightning beast, but her living body can't compete with a moving corpse.

It was over. Zenia's fist was just an inch away from Tyal's throat. And Tyal's vision turned back, leaving her stranded in the lightless void. freeweɓnøvel.com

Tyal's hand moved at an uncanny, startling speed and caught Zenia's fist before it could pierce her throat. The Cronos Raptur froze in place, and even Zenia's lifeless face looked surprised at what happened.

Instead of two gray eyes, two purple pools of pure magic flashed through the visor of Tyal's helmet.

The Cronos Raptur sensed it. The one inside the armor now wasn't a Titan, but something else. Something that shouldn't be allowed in the mortal world. It was an adult Void Dragon.

Arad had sucked Tyal into his stomach and took her place inside her armor. All thanks to [Virgo] allowing him to fit relatively well in it.

Before the Cronos Raptur could retaliate, Arad lifted two fingers and another Typhoon, one even stronger than what Tyal summoned, appeared out of nowhere. All thanks to the weather magic he learned from Mesharra.
