Super Gene Ⅱ: Evolution-Chapter 1100: I Am The Villain
Chapter 1100 -1100: I Am The Villain
“The Great Emperor is not a human?” Lin Shen and the others were all taken aback.
“That’s right, it’s literally what it means. The Great Emperor is not a human, nor any kind of Divine Being. From the very beginning, they have not been of the same species as us; more precisely, they are not of the same life system. Humans, or Divine Beings, are essentially carbon-based lifeforms, whereas those so-called Celestial Court Emperors, including the Jade Emperor, are another form of life. Their essence is more akin to robots, or in other words, artificial intelligence.”
“They created the Deformed Species to acquire the way of human life, to complete that step of evolving from a machine to a human, allowing their mechanical life to naturally evolve and reproduce like humans or other animals…”
The more Yan Li spoke, the more bizarre it sounded: “At that time, the Star God Palace, which was formerly the Underworld, served mainly to study human bodies, extract human souls, and even infuse human souls into the bodies of the Deformed Species, or transfer the consciousness of the Deformed Species into human bodies. There was even a special term for these experiments called the Six Paths of Reincarnation.”
“You mean, the six Great Emperors of the Celestial Court are actually six Super Intelligent Brains. They want to obtain bodies that can naturally evolve like humans, so they experimented on humans, creating the Deformed Species…” Di Esi pondered and spoke.
“Indeed.” Yan Li’s voice softened considerably when she spoke with Di Esi.
“That doesn’t make sense. If they are Super Intelligent Brains, then who created them?” Di Esi said.
“Whoever created them is unknown, but it can be confirmed that they are definitely not humans. Have you ever heard of anyone who has truly seen the original bodies of the six Great Emperors? They only ever appear in the form of avatars, and all the Divine Halls are devoted to their avatars. No one has ever seen their true forms, not even the successive Great Divine Officials, except for members of the Yan Family.” Yan Li said.
“You’ve seen the true bodies of the Great Emperors?”
“If we hadn’t seen the true bodies of the Great Emperors, the Yan Family wouldn’t have fallen to such a state. We should still be the top family in the Central Heaven Star Region, continuing to serve as the Great Divine Officials of the Star God Palace, and representatives of the Celestial Court Emperors.” Yan Li said mockingly.
“What do the true bodies of the Great Emperors look like? According to your description, wouldn’t it be the mainframe in a room?” Lin Shen was actually somewhat skeptical of Yan Li.
“I know it’s hard for you to believe, but the fact is more or less like that. The true body of the Great Emperor is a super machine, albeit somewhat different from the machines you might imagine.” Yan Li replied.
“What you’re saying is just your side of the story, and no one can prove it, let alone prove that the Star Constellation Token you hold is genuine.” Lin Shen said.
“Proving it is actually simple.” Yan Li extended her finger, pointing at the thousands of Upper Gods in the courtyard and said, “The Yan Family mastered the technology of creating the Deformed Species and the Six Paths of Reincarnation. These people were all created using the Six Paths of Reincarnation technology. They look like humans, but they aren’t humans, at least not in soul.”
“What do you mean?” Lin Shen’s face changed slightly. From the beginning, he felt that these people were odd somehow. freeωebnovēl.c૦m
“They were simply cloned Divine Bodies using cloning technology, but their souls and cores are from the Deformed Species. This kind of technology, apart from the Star God Palace, exists only with our Yan Family throughout the entire Celestial Court or even the entire universe.” Yan Li said calmly.
This time even Di Esi’s expression changed. If what Yan Li said was true, and these people really weren’t human, then what she had just said might indeed be true.
The thought of the Celestial Court, and even the entire universe, being ruled by a Super Intelligent Brain made one’s chest feel a bit tight.
Yan Li dropped yet another bombshell: “You know of the God-making Race, right? The Celestial Court always claimed that they were traitors. Do you know why they became traitors, opposing the Celestial Court?”
“They also discovered the secrets of the Celestial Court and the Great Emperors.” Di Esi said.
“Exactly. The creators of the God-making Race, like our Yan Family, discovered this secret, which is why they rebelled against the Celestial Court. What they want to do is overthrow the Celestial Court and the Great Emperor’s rule, ending humanity’s tragic fate as experimental subjects, and allowing humans to truly become their own masters.”
Hearing Yan Li’s words, Lin Shen suddenly felt this world was absurdly fantastical.
He always regarded the God-making Race as the greatest villains in the universe, but now someone was telling him that they were actually the righteous ones. So then, what was his struggle against the God-making Race considered? Was he the villain all along?
Lin Shen found himself at a loss for words. He didn’t know what to say or how to discern if Yan Li’s words were true or false.
If it were all true, wouldn’t he now be hindering humanity’s efforts to defeat the evil Other Races ruling over them? That wouldn’t be an unreasonable accusation of treason.
Lin Shen shook his head, dismissing such absurd thoughts from his mind.
He didn’t care about the relationship between the Celestial Court and the Divine Beings, or what things they might be, nor did he care if the God-making Race was good or evil. Whoever threatened him and his family was the enemy, and he wouldn’t hesitate, no matter how many times they came.
“If you still don’t believe, I can take you to see the process of turning humans into Deformed Species and Deformed Species into humans. Oh, and the place that once accomplished this process was called the Six Paths Reincarnation Institute, now called the Star Constellation Sea.” Yan Li looked at Lin Shen with a half-smile and said, “You want to verify the authenticity of the Star Constellation Token, don’t you? You don’t need to go to the Star God Palace; this place has the Star Constellation Sea, and it employs the same technology, only more complete. The current Star Constellation Sea in the Star God Palace has been stripped of many functions and is less comprehensive than the Six Paths Reincarnation Institute we have here.”
Lin Shen and the other two exchanged glances, each seeing the shock in the other’s eyes.
Now it seemed that Yan Li wasn’t lying and was actually serious about this.
“Then let’s go,” Lin Shen said, wanting to figure out whether all that Yan Li said was true or false.
Yan Li got up and walked back, with a woman guiding her by the arm.
Lin Shen and the other two followed, and after passing the great hall dedicated to the deities, they saw another large structure behind.
The building, although not tall, was as tall as the nearby ancient-style small buildings, but its overall size was astonishingly large.
Yan Li instructed the woman to unlock the door, but she herself did not enter; she turned instead to Lin Shen and said, “See for yourself.”
“Why don’t you go first?” Lin Shen didn’t move.
Yan Li chuckled and motioned for the woman to push open the door.
Lin Shen’s eyes were fixed on the slowly opening door, gradually revealing the Celestial Void full of stars inside, where countless stars flowed just like in the Star Constellation Hall.
“It’s said that before everyone is born, they are celestial stars. Here, that isn’t just a tale.” Yan Li tossed her Star Constellation Token lightly, and instantly, the entire Star Constellation Sea flickered with starry lights, causing countless star lights to spin.
