Chapter 259: Academy Yearly Competition (2)

When the White Family Patriarch was brought out, Evan instantly shut up. He knew very well that he couldn’t say anything about this.

"Ok, let’s go. Brother Silas might have been waiting for us," Evan said.

Silas?

Aya then remembered that she hadn’t paid a visit to the deep forest again and was not sure whether Silas had returned or not. Even if he didn’t return, his puppet should be there. That puppet was not as strong as Silas, but it was still quite strong and could protect them when it was necessary.

"Ok."

Along the way, the three of them were quiet.

Normally, Evan would start telling various stories to Aya about many things. But at this moment, they were silent. Evan was also not close to Aren and couldn’t really freely talk about many things with his presence around them.

When they reached the gate of the academy, they found the others were already there.

And they were not alone.

"Your siblings are all here?" Evan asked in surprise.

"My father wants her to watch," Leon replied with a shrug. He was sure that his father used not to care about this yearly competition in the academy. But for some reasons, he wanted Lilac to come and watch the competition today.

"He’s my cousin and not my brother," Yun said as she looked at Keiran not far from her. She didn’t know why she had to bring Keiran but the Green Family Patriarch came to her this morning and let her bring Keiran to watch the competition.

What made her more confused was that she would not participate in the battles but in the magic show since she was not interested in fighting at all. On the other hand, Keiran followed his father’s route, which was to become a control type magic warrior.

Her path and Keiran’s path were different.

Would he be interested in watching her battles?

Yun highly doubted it.

"Well, it’s the same," Dean murmured.

Yun glared at Dean. "What did you say?"

"I said nothing!"

Aya chuckled when she saw this scene and Aren behind her had already walked towards Lilac and Keiran. The three of them have good relationships in the academy and often train with each other.

Speaking about it, their team should have consisted of two more people.

However, these two people’s status was a bit more special and didn’t have much interaction with these three for the time being.

Aya also knew that the main reason why the Fourth Head of the Wansu City’s son could join the team was because of forceful insertion from the Fourth Head of the Wansu City. Otherwise, the children would be unwilling to let him be in their team.

She was not sure of the exact details, though.

"Alright, now that you’re all here, are you ready?" Silas smiled when he saw these children coming. He also didn’t expect that their respective patriarch would let their children come to watch this year’s yearly competition.

’Did I miss something?’

Thinking about the fact that he himself had been outside for a long time, Silas felt a bit embarrassed. Because he was busy with various things, Silas didn’t have the time to find out if there was anything extraordinary that happened in the academy or other places in Wansu City.

After all, the ’Silas’ who came back from time to time was nothing more than a doll. The doll took missions and completed them on Silas’s behalf in order to show his presence during this period of time.

Naturally, Silas also slowed down his pace when doing missions so that he could spend more time outside.

The doll was not the real him and the one the doll faced was these powerful magic warriors. It was different from his students who definitely would not recognize him.

"Yes!" fɾēewebnσveℓ.com

"Of course!"

The children were all excited.

"Hey, Silas, come here!" Nathan saw that Silas was still outside and quickly called out. "Damn it, Lisa is already challenging me."

Silas rolled his eyes when he saw Nathan’s appearance. "It’s my students who will participate and not yours. Why are you getting excited?"

"...Nisa is angry." Nathan looked at Silas sheepishly.

Silas blinked his eyes and looked at the young woman who stood not far behind Nathan. She was giving off a smile, but the atmosphere around her seemed to be biting cold. Silas laughed dryly and nodded.

It seemed that the relationship between Nisa and Lisa was not very good.

As Nisa’s boyfriend, Nathan was inevitably dragged over.

"Brother, did you propose this yearly competition because of them?" Leon asked with a blank look on his face. And here he thought that his cousin suddenly became more interested in these kinds of things.

"They came to ask because you’re qualified to participate," Silas replied and then glanced at Leon. "Don’t you want to participate in this competition?"

"Tsk." Leon clicked his tongue and didn’t answer.

Evan laughed and nodded.

Dean also smiled.

"Brother, don’t lose," Lilac said seriously.

Leon looked at his sister with dissatisfaction and said, "I’m not that weak!"

He might not be as talented as his younger sister but at this moment, Leon was definitely stronger than Lilac. There was no way he would be defeated so easily by the other students.

"Cousin, you too," Aren said slowly.

Evan smiled confidently. "Don’t worry, I won’t lose so easily."

Keiran looked at his two friends who cheered on their relatives and turned to look at Yun. Remembering that Yun’s competition was more like magic show rather than fighting, he turned to look at Dean and said, "Brother Dean, don’t lose."

"...You don’t even want to cheer on your cousin?" Yun asked and narrowed her eyes dangerously at Keiran.

Keiran laughed dryly and said, "Sister Yun’s magic is the best. She’ll definitely win and it’s Brother Dean who needs my cheer the most."

"You kid..." Yun looked at her cousin and then rubbed Keiran’s head.

Aya heard Keiran’s words and looked at the young boy speechlessly. He was already good at talking when he was so young like this?
