Chapter 226: Sparring

The door opened and Silas looked outside.

"Teacher Silas," Aya greeted.

"Aya." Silas nodded and then asked, "Do you need anything?"

"I came to see Teacher Silas’s situation and also to give this." Aya showed the report that Elder Yusi handed over to her. While Aya guessed that Silas should be able to know this information through coming to the hospital directly, but she still received the injury report paper.

Silas looked at the report in Aya’s hand.

He pursed his lips slightly.

Yesterday, he didn’t head straight back to report and stayed near the hospital until Aya went out and asked Elder Yusi about Aya’s situation. Knowing that Aya’s hand was injured and she had to refrain from practicing made Silas feel a bit guilty.

"Alright. Come inside," Silas said and took the report. He didn’t need to read this again but he still accepted it and read it as he walked into the living room. As he had expected, the content was more or less the same as what Elder Yusi told him when he paid a visit to the hospital some time ago.

He raised his head and saw Aya had already sat down on his couch. Looking at her posture, she seemed to be treating his home as hers. For some reason, this scene made SIlas feel a bit amused.

He didn’t really mind, though.

"The report is quite clear. You’re not allowed to train for the time being," Silas said calmly. "I don’t think you plan to train when you come here, do you?"

"No." Aya shook her head.

She was looking at Silas curiously. She thought that Silas would want to change back to his puppet after coming back. After all, there was not much point for Silas to train in Wansu City.

As a fellow rank 7 magic warrior, Aya knew very well that the training that Wansu City could provide for her was limited.

"But I can still practice physical strength, right?" Aya asked with a grin.

Silas arched his eyebrows and nodded. "If you really want to, you can train your physical strength but I don’t think it’s a good idea. Even if you often use physical strength to practice in the past, you will still combine it with mana from time to time. But this time, you can’t use it at all."

"No that I can’t use it at all, I’m not allowed to let it flow to my injured hand," Aya corrected.

"Still the same." Silas shook his head. "Do you really think that it’ll be useful not to use your mana on your hand?"

"I can still use it on my legs." Aya paused for a moment and looked at Silas meaningfully. "And it has been a long time since we spar against each other, Teacher."

Teacher?

Silas arched his eyebrows when he heard Aya’s words.

She usually only called him with ’brother’ instead of teacher. After all, they have known each other ever since Aya was very young. Aya and Evan were used to calling Silas with the word brother more than the word teacher. They only used this word occasionally when they needed to show some respect.

But most of the time, they would not care about this matter.

And the way Aya looked at him made Silas felt that Aya might have realize the person who was with Aya and the others in the past was not himself.

But at the same time, Silas threw this notion to the back of his mind.

How could she find out?

No one else managed to find out and Aya’s rank was lower than them. How could she be sharper than these higher ranked magic warriors? freēwēbnovel.com

Silas didn’t think that it was possible for Aya to know this.

"You come here just to have a spar against me?" Silas asked incredulously.

"Why not?" Aya asked with a grin. "I can’t spar properly against the others, so I can only trouble you, Teacher."

Silas was silent for a moment as he looked at Aya’s expression. In the end, Silas sighed and nodded. "Alright, let’s go to the training ground."

Aya jumped off the sofa after she heard Silas’s words.

She seemed to be satisfied with his answer and stretched her body. "Do you not have any training place in your place, Teacher Silas?"

"No." Silas shook his head.

He bought this house just because this place was relatively cheap and so on. His previous house where he was raised did have training grounds that he used to use when he was young. But after his father’s death and the follow up matters, Silas knew that he couldn’t keep his old house. He decided to sell it for a good price and then bought a cheaper house.

Since this house was cheap and smaller, there were basically no training grounds like the one he used to have. But this house was already good enough for Silas.

He usually went out for missions and rarely stayed at home.

Moreover, he was no longer that young and the small training place in a residence couldn’t really accommodate it if he were to use any big moves. The more powerful he is, the more Silas realized that higher ranked magic spells were capable of destroying entire cities if he was not careful enough.

So Silas chose to practice outside.

In the deep forest, he felt freer and able to use his magic well without anyone bothering him. Even if there was the rank 7 magic warrior there who helped him, Silas could see that this magic warrior had no ill intention against him.

It was very comfortable, much more than when he was still in Wansu City.

"I see." Aya nodded and then walked out. "Let’s go?"

Silas smiled. "Ok."

The two of them walked out of the residence and Silas raised his head in one direction. He knew that Nathan was there and was nearly troubled because there were some higher ranked magic warrior from the Black Family passing by.

Seeing that Nathan had no intention to leave but not coming any closer, Silas arched his eyebrows.

He glanced at Aya beside him.
