Chapter 202: ‘Hero’ Saving a ‘Beauty’

"I am the lord of the darkness. Nothing in the dark could ever compare to me and everyone fears me," Silas chanted quickly. "Let the light disappear in the darkness and the beauty of the dark blossom for no one would be able to get out alive from my clutch. Corrosive is my nature and nothing within me could escape my grasp, descent of the dark realm!"

Bang!

The dark element spread from him towards the magic beast in front of him. It was a massive tiger and what terrified Silas was the magic fluctuation that this magic beast emitted.

It was far stronger than him.

And this tiger didn’t give him any chance to leave, so Silas could only use the strongest magic he knew and infuse more mana.

*roar*

The tiger roared and pounced forward, the claw stretched towards Silas.

Bang!

Wooden shield came from the ground and Silas panted as he ran to the back.

’Even rank 6 magic spell is useless?’

Based on the amount of mana that Silas infused, the power should be comparable to rank 6 magic spell. Yet, it barely do any damage to the tiger in front of him.

This made Silas feel a bit desperate.

No wonder everyone always said that the deep forest was very dangerous and not many people dared to come here. Because if they dared to go, they should be prepared to die.

These magic beasts were really powerful.

Silas didn’t know what the founder of those cities did to make sure these magic beasts didn’t invade their cities back then.

"Shadow bind!"

Silas used his dark magic and then retreated once more. He couldn’t afford to stay here any longer unless he wanted to die. The problem is, he was still deep in the forest and there were not many magic warriors here.

In the first place, Silas didn’t wish to see anyone.

But right now, he hoped that there could be someone to help him.

’I shouldn’t have gone too deep.’

Bang!

The tiger broke free of the restraints in an instant and pounced towards Silas once more. The magic spells that Silas used were clearly useless in front of this tiger.

Swish!

Silas quickly dodged to the side and felt thankful that because of Aya, he had been training his physical body intently. After all, it would be embarrassing for the teacher to lose to his students. Even if his pure physical strength was far from comparable to Aya, it was still far stronger than many other magic warriors.

He could even compare to the Red Family.

His teacher also knew this and felt that Silas and Aya should have been from the Red Family instead of the other families. Their physical strength was an anomaly in front of the other families.

Bang!

*rip*

Silas hissed as the claw scratched his back and he stumbled in his walk. He felt that he was about to die, but he didn’t want to die yet.

His hand took out a magic tool that he had made.

Using this at such a short distance might kill him, but it was better than doing nothing...

As Silas was desperate, he heard a faint voice from a distance.

"I’m the mother of the earth, the source of nature and nourishment of life. The beauty of the earth is splendid and should be presented to those who stood in my face. Protection, guardian, life and beauty should all be present. Being stepped on, why should one forget about the land that had given so much for us? Lend me your strength oh the mighty land and let your strength overwhelm those who dared to stand in your way. May the earth and land come forth, disaster, earthquake strike!"

The voice didn’t seem to be fast, but what followed afterwards was the ground shaken and the tiger in front of Silas stopped in fear.

The next moment, a large gulf appeared below the tiger and its entire body plunged.

*ROAR*

What could be heard was only the roar full of unwillingness.

Aya looked at the gulf in front of her and shook her head.

This move was indeed very good at eliminating opponents who were caught unprepared but at the same time, it would be hard to pick up the body back.

A pity.

That was a proper rank 7 magic beasts.

The main reason why Aya used this skill was because she couldn’t possibly use wind and water magic. And she had only shown light magic in front of Silas under this identity. If she were to use a dark element... it was estimated that there would be many people who would be interested.

Because it was rare for opposite elements that should have restrained each other to appear in one person.

"This..." Silas looked back and saw the rank 7 magic warrior he saw before stood not far from him. The large cloak still covered the other party’s body, making it difficult to identify him or her. But the powerful magic fluctuation that this person emitted told Silas that he was not a match against this person at all.

Silas swallowed the words that he was about to say and quickly stood up. "Thank you, Senior."

The wounds were pulled but Silas gritted his teeth. He quickly drank a mana potion and raised his hand to shoulder. His hand glowed in green color and Silas chanted in a low voice.

"I’m the messenger of the woods, the pillar of growth. The green is billowing and nature is flourishing. Light promotes growth and lets the woods appear from the ground. I call upon you the recovery nature to help me recover, nature of recovery," Silas chanted.

Aya listened to the chant and remembered the magic spell that the Green Family Patriarch used back then. This spell was somewhat similar but instead of attacking, this was used for recovery.

It seemed that the Green Family also had some wood element magic spells for recovery and not only the light element.

Truly worthy of the name of the support family.

Not that Aya cared, though.
