Stormwind Wizard God-Chapter 419: Airship
Chapter 419 - Airship
Gavinrad looked at his steel combat boots, then at the footprint that was not much smaller but much shallower, and found that it was indeed the case. He whistled: "Well, there is good news. It seems that the big black lizard once greeted our Lord Edmund with noble etiquette. Or, is he trying in vain to learn noble etiquette from our Lord the Duke?"
This slightly playful joke made everyone laugh and made them feel a lot more relaxed.
"And dragon magic." Marian carefully examined the horrible burn marks surrounding the place where Duke had sat.
There is no spreading flame, only the most refined fire control ability. Deathwing's control over the power of destruction can be said to have reached the pinnacle.
This discovery made everyone present gasp and feel a chill in their hearts.
"What does he want Sir Edmund to do?" Rhonin muttered.
Marian stroked the place where Duke had sat and pointed to a mark: "There was obviously a line of words here, written with magic, but that line of words was erased by the power of the fire."
Vereesa's pupils suddenly shrank. "Perhaps it was this line of words left by Duke that slightly angered Deathwing, so he used dragon language magic to protest."
However, Vereesa immediately found more important clues. It was a white mark, which looked like a white mark made by fingernails. She didn't know how Duke did it. When she focused on the white mark, it was magnified at least three times, and there were two lines of extremely clear words on it:
'I am safe. Deathwing asked me to save Alexstrasza. At least we agree on this. I need your strength, but please stay away from me for at least an hour. Deathwing is likely to be near me.'
Originally, this was the end, but Vereesa suddenly discovered that below the two lines of words there was another line of lighter and smaller fonts carved with the power of wind.
Apart from her, it is impossible for anyone else who has not been strengthened by the Storm Altar to see it.
The first sentence was, "Privately ask Rhonin to inform his mentor that the key to breaking the deadlock lies with that person."
After seeing the second sentence, Vereesa was even more shocked.
Vereesa took a deep breath and finally controlled her emotions: "Everyone, come and look at this. I'm not sure if you can see it."
After Rhonin provided a magnifying glass, everyone finally saw Duke's message.
"what to do?"
"Of course... follow."
Back to Duke.
Duke is a pain in the ass.
Only after you have come into contact with him will you know that Deathwing is a very smart yet very poor director.
"Brilliant" refers to his conspiracy when he was mentally normal. If there was no system, Duke would eventually be brainwashed just by carrying the amulet he gave him. What made Duke tremble the most was that he had to continue this drama, otherwise if old man Deathwing flipped the table, Duke would definitely not be able to take it.
Clumsy refers to the choice he made when he had a mental illness attack - Deathwing actually disliked him for walking too slowly and found him a means of transportation.
The first thing that caught his eye was a large oval object that looked like a rugby ball. The entire sphere was made of various poorly made leathers. Duke was so impressed by the workmanship that he could not be sure if it would leak at any time.
The second is the steam engine emitting smoke at the tail of the ellipse, which is obviously a propeller.
That's right, what appeared before Duke was a degraded version of the Zeppelin—the Goblin Death Airship.
Azeroth is a magical world, with both mainstream swords and magic and non-mainstream mechanical civilization. At this point in time, the crude steam engine is already considered high-tech.
Even though there was a clear tribal emblem painted on the airship, Duke knew that this was a gift from Deathwing.
Goblins - their moral integrity is equivalent to money.
As long as you can afford it or the price they want, moral integrity will definitely be sold for money.
So these goblins who appear to be working for the Horde are actually Deathwing's minions.
Just as Emperor Du was pretending to hide, a familiar voice sounded in his head: "Don't be afraid, they are loyal to me. The goblin airship will save you a lot of time. You and I are eager to be rescued by the Red Dragon Queen as soon as possible, right?"
"Why doesn't the great Lord Deathwing send me there directly? Otherwise, just tell me the spatial coordinates of the place." Duke asked back.
"I am trying to avoid unnecessary fights. Moreover, there is an extremely strong mysterious force beneath Grim Batol that resists all spatial teleportation."
Duke muttered: You talk as if the two red dragons you killed last night were just buffaloes on the hillside.
"Well, I'd rather use up all my magic power to use Flash to travel faster than take the goblin airship." Duke said firmly.
"Go ahead, the goblin airship is very safe."
Duke suddenly discovered that Deathwing used the command format for this sentence. In the system prompt, it was clearly written: "Deathwing is using compulsory mental commands to force you to obey."
Duke is in a dilemma. If he wants to continue his path to becoming the best actor, he must obey, otherwise he will be exposed.
Duke's facial features softened a little, his eyes fell into a brief emptiness, and his voice was almost a whisper: "Well, it is indeed much faster to take an airship."
In the end, Duke got on the pirate ship again.
Well, in his left hand, he held the Light Feather, a magic item used by mages for Slow Fall when jumping off buildings, and then he recited the Ice Barrier spell silently over and over again in his mind.
Although the goblins were unreliable, Duke was still somewhat thankful. Looking at the forest below him that had long since turned into a rocky ridge, Duke realized that if he wanted to avoid the west side of the fortress where the 100,000 tribes were camped, and walked this road alone, it would probably take not two days, but a full week.
Taking shortcuts isn't always a good thing.
For example, the performance of the goblin's death airship made Duke unable to relax for a moment.
There are all kinds of accidents during the flight.
Often after completing the previous aerial maintenance, they have to deal with an emergency that has just occurred.
"Bang!" A loud noise scared Duke so much that he jumped up.
This time it was the main steam box that was leaking. The airship was powered by both water and oil, and if one part was working properly, the other part must be paralyzed.
