Chapter 283 - Alliance membership

"Team Seven was attacked."

"Morral and Sigoff are done for. Hell, Alpin and Ratdin got shot down from their Griffins."

"Oh my god, those greenskins are slaughtering them!"

Extremely unfavorable news came from all directions.

The hunter became the hunted.

The other party obviously had a plan in advance. They successfully used the new greenskins as bait to attract the attention of the Wildhammer Griffin Riders and temporarily disable the Wildhammer Dwarves' strongest combat force.

The next moment, when Kurdran saw the greenskins rushing out from every corner of the forest, almost covering the entire mountain, he finally realized the seriousness of the matter.

"Damn it." Kurdran roared, "They have joined forces with the trolls, greenskins in bed with greenskins!"

Adjutant Emhar screamed miserably: "What should we do? There are too many of them. They have at least 30,000 warriors. Eagle's Nest Mountain cannot withstand this level of attack. We will be finished in a week at most."

One week?

Looking at those greenskins who were so brave that they were not afraid at all when fighting against the griffins that fell to the ground, and looking at those greenskins who bravely rushed forward with their sledgehammers even when there was only one person left, Kurdran, the King of the Wildhammer, finally had a clear understanding.

"We must find help, and quickly, or these greenskins will soon swarm over and tear down the Eagle's Head on Aerie Mountain!"

As soon as Kurdran finished speaking, he discovered that a team of griffin riders he had never seen before had broken into the airspace.

That's definitely not a Wildhammer dwarf's gryphon.

The Wildhammer dwarves regarded the griffins as their friends, and would not equip the griffins with anything except the saddles they needed for riding. However, the griffins that came flying not only had taller human figures on them, but also had a series of small flags with emblems tied to the reins around their necks.

"A human griffon?"

There is a huge difference between the way the Wildhammer dwarves and humans use griffins. Humans have never found an effective long-range attack method under high speed and strong winds. Because both bows and crossbows are very ineffective. Humans have even tried to let the griffin knights equip an eight-meter-long lance. For example, the Kingdom of Lordaeron did this stupid thing at some point.

One shot from the lance would kill the target, and in order to stab the target, the griffin had to land or fly at a very low altitude.

Fortunately, Kurdran saw that these human griffin knights were carrying javelins.

"Well, maybe it's of some use." The Wildhammer King commented irresponsibly.

The humans clearly meant no harm, and they waved their hands to show that they were not prepared to throw long-range weapons.

Looking at the situation below which had become corrupt, Kurdran called on his men to fly high into the sky while moving closer to see why the human griffin riders came to Sintland, which they considered a barren land.

Kurdran immediately saw the leader, no, the pair.

A female elven ranger sat in the front, while a human wizard held her waist from behind, holding the griffin's reins and controlling it.

"My God, there's a war going on here. It's not a good place for a picnic. If you want to flirt, please leave the airspace of Eagle's Nest Mountain immediately." Kurdran's loud voice made the human knights on the opposite side burst into laughter.

Obviously, the blonde female elf ranger was as furry as a cat.

"Damn it, Duke, you better explain it to that pig-head, or I'll never let you go." The female elf didn't say anything else. She just used her long legs to clamp the griffin's neck as hard as she could, straightened her body, bent the bow and shot the arrow.

It's not ordinary archery, but the kind of three-arrow volley shooting where three arrows are held between the index finger, middle finger, ring finger and little finger at the same time.

You know, every time you shoot an extra arrow, the difficulty doubles.

Triple Shooting is four times more difficult than normal archery.

Horseback archery should be doubled.

The horse archery on a high-speed flying griffin will be doubled!

Not to mention, this place is at least 200 meters above the ground. It is almost impossible to see the target clearly. If we consider the difficulty, this kind of archery, which is already in the long-range category, has to be twice as difficult.

Is this kind of shooting with a difficulty of thirty-two times possible for a human to do?

Kurdran was the first to disbelieve it: "Please, stop playing. We are at war."

"Yes! It is because they are here to help you fight the orcs that the two strongest men at the top of the Alliance's Killing God List came to support you."

Orcs, do you mean those huge green-skinned creatures you've never seen? Well, that's a pretty apt name.

But what is the God of Death List?

Just as he was about to retort, Kurdran suddenly saw the arrow that the female elf had just shot arrive.

That was a flying arrow that was completely beyond imagination.

The light green arrows almost flew out with the wind, and there was no feeling of "shooting" at first. After just a few seconds, Kurdran was surprised to find that the arrows were speeding up with the wind. Getting faster and faster, and sharper and sharper.

If you start out crawling, you'll end up flying.

Every dwarf knight around Kurdran saw that three of the orcs who had no dwarf griffin knights nearby were suddenly hit by something and fell to the ground suddenly, with a bright red spread on their throats.

In just five seconds, the female elf had completed five rapid consecutive shots, killing all the orcs in the team below.

Kurdran was stunned and didn't even feel the strong wind blowing into his mouth during the flight.

"Okay, I've seen the First Killing God. So where is the Second Killing God?"

The next moment, hundreds of hands made of arcane energy suddenly appeared in the void, and a full hundred blue, white and red magic light bullets shot into the forest.

Within three seconds, a series of screams that almost merged into one voice came from below.

Apparently, more than a hundred orcs were killed.

"Hello, dear Kurdran Wildhammer, I solemnly introduce myself to you. I am Edmund Duke, the deputy commander of the Alliance of Lordaeron and the number one on the orc kill list, who came to assist you at the request of your distant cousin Magni Bronzebeard."

Kurdran and the other Wildhammer dwarves were all frightened out of their wits.

I have seen bunkers, but I have never seen one like this one.

If the female elf's archery skills can be considered a magical skill within the scope of imagination, then what the wizard named Duke did completely surpassed human conception.

If you master any one of these skills, you can become a master. But if you can do all of them on the battlefield, you are simply not a human being.

Even if Kurdran didn't want to admit it in his heart, Magni did find him a good helper.

But such a small number of people is not enough!

There are at least tens of thousands of greenskins below. Even if this man and woman are very strong, how many can they kill?

"I have to admit, you picked a very good time to come here. Let me be frank, what are the Wildhammer dwarves going to do?"

"I regret to tell you that the orcs' goal is to conquer all intelligent races in the world of Azeroth. So, for the future of the Wildhammer dwarves, I solemnly invite you to join the Alliance."
