Director General Zhao appeared next to Light Sword. It wasn’t out of the question for him to handle these people by himself, but he was worried about a strong reaction, someone from the Xu family escaping, or luring out an even stronger existence—for example, whoever had strengthened the Xus.

Sky Sword and Tyrant Blade manifested on two other sides, staring down the Xu group.

The general paled and wanted to run, but another stroke came for him! This one was stronger than the one before.

They were both fourth level Sun and Moon—while Sky Sword might be a little bit stronger, he wasn’t so strong that he could crush his opponent. However, their mentalities were completely different. Sky Sword didn’t hold himself with the same striking bearing as he had before, but with killing intent that soared to the sky!

He penned his opponent in with a swing, then swung his sword again to cut off both of the general’s legs!

Meanwhile, Tyrant Blade and Light Sword targeted the Earth General. Color drained from the latter’s face as he found himself unable to withstand his opponents. He was stronger than either of them, but the situation looked dire when the two of them worked in tandem!

Xu Huan was worse off compared to all of them. Director General Zhao scanned the premises, on high alert, but remained intrepid in battle. He brought out the Eight Directions Seal and slammed it down on Xu Huan, forcing the Xu patriarch to vomit blood!

It was only now that the Xu trio understood the difference in strength between the two sides.

A ghastly scream interrupted Xu Huan when he opened his mouth to say something. Sky Sword beheaded the Heaven General with a swing of his sword, but frowned afterwards.

“Strange!” he snorted. His enemy should be dead after losing their head, but... he didn’t seem entirely dead!

The next moment verified his thoughts.

A shadow appeared in the air—Sky Sword blinked and raised an eyebrow. “Mental strength? Those of Silver Moon world do not cultivate mental strength. This is certainly odd and bears similarities to the New Martial cultivation methods. Are you guys like Zhou Chuan?”

Sky Sword tore through the firmament and shredded the general’s mental strength! What premier powerhouse? He snorted dismissively. They might’ve had second thoughts in the past and worry if this would offend New Martial. But now, who cared?

Although no one mentioned the deaths of He Yong and the others, they nursed a grudge for those happening. The situation would not have turned out thus if Zhang An had lent a hand. “The Eight Directions Seal?” snorted the shadow. “You’ve got some nerve...”

Sky Sword rushed over and the seal descended, smashing the shadow into pieces with numerous thuds!

“His Lordship has given orders to show no mercy to all those who continue to set themselves against us!” laughed Director General Zhao. “It looks like you are not weak. We could’ve negotiated in times before, but you manipulate the Xu family against Skystar Dynasty in an attempt to fragment us. That deserves death!”

The Eight Directions Seal erupted once more and fragmented the pieces before the ancient had a chance to speak. Director General Zhao reached out and grabbed the tattered Xu Huan.

The Xu patriarch was absolutely horrified. He hadn’t thought that the ancient would hide some mental strength in his body, and fathomed even less that Zhao Shuguang and the others could outright disperse the esteemed one.

“Who is he?” asked the director general.

“I... I don’t know...” Xu Huan was as white as a sheet. “He is... an ancient powerhouse... of Tranquil Star...”

“What brought you to this state?”

“We... were modified by him...”

“Did he give you any instructions?”

Xu Huan’s expression flickered and he opened his mouth to negotiate, but his arms disappeared with a crunch. His legs had already disappeared prior to his, so he was inordinately terrified by this development.
