Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon-Chapter 753 - 751: Comparable to the Defying Paragon?
'Prince Zakar'el Eron'Lethe?'
'The Last Prince?'
'Letherions?'
Corey's mind was filled with questions when he heard the words of the being.
He tried to recall if he had ever recalled reading, hearing, or encountering something that dealt with this strange race called Letherions,
But he came up with nothing. He had never heard of a race called Letherions, and this was slightly surprising to him because of the knowledge he had obtained from the Underworld was not little.
"You don't have to think too much about my race or me... It'll be shocking to me if you've ever heard of my race... Even the Old Ones would have forgotten my race.'
Corey's eyes flashed when he heard the words- 'Old Ones'. He was about to speak, but he was beaten to it.
"Yes, you know of the Old Ones... You even have one of their creations and I can feel their touch on your... Cosmic soul."
Waves upon waves of shock impacted his mind the moment he heard the words of Prince Zakar'el.
The wariness in his heart that was about to disappear instantly came back in full force.
His Genesis Armament vibrated intensely and glowed with multiple lights as the space around him trembled intensely.
"Calm down. If I wanted to kill you or harm you, I would have done that a long time ago."
Prince Zakar'el shifted his gaze away from his beating heart to Corey.
Corey said nothing in response. Despite feeling the effects of the strange power that could make him forget things with ease, he battled the power furiously.
His Stars of Consciousness blazed brightly to the point that Corey's Perceptual Nexus Repository and his mental space glowed as bright as a sun.
His Cosmic Soul also glowed as Corey used everything he had to hide everything he had.
"Sigh..."
The moment Prince Zakar'el sighed, Corey felt the power he was actively battling dissipate in the blink of an eye.
He furrowed his brows slightly.
"It's slightly uncomfortable reeling in my aura... but to make you calm down, I have to do this."
Corey looked at the Prince for some moments before changing his stance to a slightly more relaxed stance, but his eyes still contained immense vigilance.
"Sigh... Now where do I start from?" Prince Zakar'el sighed once again.
Meanwhile, after the Prince reeled in his aura, Corey's mind became free and a weight he did not know was on his mind vanished.
'So I was dealing with something so significant and powerful but I didn't even notice... His power is dangerous... Extremely dangerous.'
'What sort of race are the Letherions?'
Corey's eyes flashed, and this time around, he took note of the appearance of the prince, and when he did, his appearance reminded him of the Tainteds in the Shattered Dimension of the Old Ones.
The reason for this were the rune tattoos that were on his body.
Although the rune tattoos bore no resemblance to that of the Tainteds and it neither had the corrupt and evil-like aura of the Tainted's rune tattoos.
The tattoos were colorless, and if not for the fact that they were glowing, Corey might have missed it.
Another unique thing about the Prince's appearance was his face. It was shrouded in a veil of mist, and Corey could not see any part of his face.
The Prince's hair were like smokelike tendrils of mist that shifted between multiple colours, and Corey realized that he was slowly forgetting the previous colours of the hair despite the Prince telling him that he had deactivated his aura.
And his voice... He forgot.
No matter how hard Corey tried, he could not remember the Prince's voice and Corey's expression darkened.
"Sigh... Your mind is so easy to read from your expression."
The Prince sighed once again, and Corey looked at his face.
"Even if I've reeled in my aura, there are some things that'll still affect you because you're weaker than me."
Corey's expression eased, and his expression became deathly calm.
"To be honest, it's surprising that you're able to converse with me without forgetting a lot of things... But with how unique your mind and body are, I guess it's not so surprising."
"If my people had been born with a body as powerful as yours, our fatal weakness would have disappeared in the blink of an eye, and we would not have suffered the fate we suffered."
Corey furrowed his brows deeply, and with a calm tone, he asked.
"To be honest, there's no way I'll feel okay conversing with somebody who's unraveling my secrets so easily."
The Prince laughed.
"Hahaha... There's nobody that'll feel comfortable with that... Even I would be uncomfortable if I were in your shoes." freёwebnoѵel.com
Corey raised a brow, "Then-"
"I'm just trying to be transparent... I could have behaved like I had no idea of your secrets and then made plans to take control of your body... But I didn't."
"This can also be another plan of yours." Corey spoke calmly, and the Prince chuckled.
"True... But I won't dare covet your body or try to peer too deeply into your body especially... I can sense a presence that seems as unfathomable or maybe even more unfathomable than my father in you..."
"Sadly... My father is dead."
"... In my prime, I wouldn't dare fight such a being, talk less of now."
The Prince chuckled softly once again, and Corey raised a brow. He instantly knew who the Prince was talking about.
The Paragon Ancestor. The Defying Paragon.
He was not surprised by the Prince's words because he was not only a Demi-Paragon, he was a Demi-Paragon with the blood essence of the Ancestor of all Paragons in him.
If his entire body was not permeated by the presence of the Paragon Ancestor, he would be surprised.
However, what he was surprised about were Prince Zakar'el's words.
'His father is either as strong as the Paragon Ancestor or maybe just a little bit weaker than the Paragon Ancestor?'
'Such a being died?... Did somebody kill him?... And if yes... Was it the Paragon Ancestor or the Supreme Ancestor?... Or somebody else completely?'
'Who is he? And what sort of race are the Letherions?'
Numerous thoughts and questions appeared in Corey's mind, and then he closed his eyes for some seconds before opening them.
"Tell me about the Letherions."
