"Yes. It doesn't make any sense, you're just a Tier 3. You should have been affected by it for more than just a second."

Corey's lips curled up when he heard Triple X's words, and with a twirl of his axe, he said,

The Rune of Decay and the Rune of Empowerment on his Genesis Armament glowed with a crimson light along with the colorless glow of Corey's Phantom Plague Axe Heart Intent as he swung his axe at Triple X's neck, fully intending on separating his head from his body.

"Do you learn at all? Or you're just slow?"

Triple X's nonchalantly glanced at Corey, and just as Corey's Genesis Armament was about to touch his neck, a loud CLANG! echoed multiple times.

Standing between Corey's axe and Triple X's neck was the nine-foot Death Knight with its bronze shield stopping Corey's giant axe from touching even a single hair on its master's head.

Its eyes glowed coldly, and then it raised its greatsword, wanting to split Corey who it expected to be stunned due to the new abilities he got from his master.

However, Corey's gaze and expression remained the same. Before the Death Knight could even lower its hand, spectral chains that were covered in a terrifying black mist appeared beneath the Death Knight.

Noxious Chains

The Death Knight paused and glanced at the black chains, and although he wanted to dodge or destroy the chains, the timing of the appearance of the chains was perfect and the speed of the chains was too fast.

The chains coiled around its legs, torso, neck, and hands.

Corey did not waste a single second, knowing that the chains could only hold the Death Knight for at most three seconds.

Surprise flashed in the eyes of the Death Knight and Triple X, and before they could react, the Death Knight fell into the hole.

Just as the rune fell, the entire underground area brightened as three bolts of lightning and three spears made out of flames appeared mid-air.

Triple X's head snapped in the direction of the lightning bolts and flaming spears, and he stretched out his hand.

The three bolts of lightning flashed towards Triple X while the flaming spears went into the hole.

Just as the lightning bolts and flaming spears moved, their speed slowed down and it looked like they were going to come to a stop.

A small smile appeared on Triple X's mouth, but a second later, his smile froze because the speed of the lightning bolts and flaming spears suddenly increased.

"So you can also slow down time. That would have been troublesome for others..."

Just as Corey's axe was an inch away from touching Triple X's neck, Triple X vanished and Corey's axe slammed into the ground and shattered it, causing cracks to spread across almost half of the Underground area from the impact of Corey's axe.

Corey slowly stood, and then he turned in the direction of Triple X.

He saw Triple X having an extremely deep frown along with a confused light in his eyes as he stared at the gash on his shoulder.

"What power is this?"

Triple X asked, and Corey held his neck and turned it to the side, causing a soft crack to echo in the surroundings.

"The power that's going to kill you."

Triple X looked at Corey, "It seems I have to get serious."

Without waiting for a response from Corey, Triple X unleashed his skill.

"Rise of the Horde."

A second after he said these words, the ground trembled intensely, and then hands of various sizes and shapes shot up from the ground.

The corpses around them also rose and grunted, joining the undead that rose from the depths of the earth.

Corey watched with a calm expression when he saw Triple X using the skill he had used the first time he ever watched him fight in the Amphitheatre.

Over twenty thousand undead appeared around Triple X, making the Underground area to be extremely crowded.
