Chapter 100: Chapter 100 Chaos (1 more update)
"Uh, teacher’s attire, just wait."
Mia burped slightly and then, smiling, opened the bag she was carrying and took out a set of retro teacher’s clothes.
Su Ming and the others were stunned when they saw the teacher’s clothes. Could this drunk woman really be their teacher?
Before anyone could react, the female teacher picked up the clothes and prepared to change into them.
"Ah, teacher!"
"Don’t, don’t change here."
Everyone was shocked by her actions—changing clothes right here in public, how could that be!
"Hehe, don’t be so tense, I’m just draping it over; I wasn’t really planning to change right here."
Mia said with a somewhat hazy look in her eyes.
Hearing this, Su Ming and the others breathed a sigh of relief, their hearts barely handling the shock.
Then Mia simply draped the teacher’s robe over herself and took out a roll call list, starting to speak drunkenly.
"Let’s start with roll call, Zhang Tie."
Dead silence followed; no one responded.
"Huh? Zhang Tie? Not here? Missing the first person on the list shows I’m not too late."
Mia, grinning, said.
"Teacher, my name is Zhang Yi, not Zhang Tie!"
A slightly short man with some freckles and sandy hair spoke helplessly.
"Oh, Zhang Yi! My mistake, moving on to the next."
Mia continued to laugh and mark the roll call list, then moved on to the next name.
She saw double images of the names on the roll call list.
She shook her head and looked again, but still couldn’t see clearly, then complained.
"What the heck, these letters have come to life, I can’t see a thing, can someone help me with the roll call?"
As soon as she spoke, everyone was at a loss.
Su Ming too was less than pleased, he sighed lightly and then raised his right hand.
"Teacher, I’ll do it!"
Mia looked up at Su Ming and asked.
"What’s your name?"
"Su Ming."
Su Ming replied simply.
Mia, still chuckling, handed the roll call list and pen straight to him.
"I remember you now, you do it."
Su Ming took the roll call list and quickly began calling names.
"Rhein!"
"Present!"
The blond young man suppressed the displeasure in his heart and responded gravely.
"Angel."
Su Ming continued calling the names.
"Here!"
At that moment, the quiet-looking, oval-faced girl answered.
"Shi Wushan, Mandy..."
Su Ming quickly called out the names, swiftly going through all forty-nine students in the class.
After finishing, he handed the roll call list and pen back to teacher Mia.
"Teacher, the roll call is complete, everyone is here!"
"Well done!"
Mia happily accepted it.
At this point, Rhein, barely containing his dissatisfaction, asked Mia.
"Teacher, everyone has arrived. What do we do next?"
"Of course, we party!"
Mia, seeming to get excited, raised a bottle of liquor and announced to everyone.
Upon hearing Mia’s words, Su Ming couldn’t help but twitch his face.
The students on-site were even more dumbfounded, each one exclaiming in astonishment. freēwēbηovel.c૦m
"Go out and party? Weren’t we here to register?"
"We just got here for registration, and nothing has been explained yet."
...
Hearing the incredulous questions from many students, Mia seemed to sober up a bit and said cheerfully,
"Oh, oh, I forgot! It’s registration time, now; we can’t go out and party."
"I’ve had enough; I want to file a complaint!"
Rhein, unable to tolerate any more, stood up. Other class teachers were all very serious, very professional, and normal.
How unlucky they were to end up with a drunkard—absolutely intolerable.
When Mia heard Rhein wanted to complain about her, she staggeringly walked up to Rhein, getting very close.
Rhein took a deep breath, and without backing down, stared directly at Mia.
"Complain about what? No complaining allowed!"
Mia picked up the roll call register and hit Rhein on the head, replying very unreasonably.
"You...."
Rhein was at a loss for words.
"Come on, follow me!"
Mia, ignoring whatever Rhein said, waved her hand and spoke.
Despite their reluctance, Su Ming and the others could only follow Mia.
Mia led everyone away from the waiting point and walked along the wide road, speaking while obviously drunk,
"I’m not going to introduce the history and background of Imperial Court Academy; I bet you’re sick of hearing it and those who really want to understand can go flip through the library."
Upon hearing Mia’s words, Su Ming and the others looked at each other, their excitement significantly dampened.
They had put in so much sweat and effort to get to their dream school. They had all sorts of fantasies and expectations about Imperial Court Academy, only for the teacher to say dismissively that they wouldn’t be interested.
But Mia felt quite pleased with herself and continued speaking to Su Ming and the others.
"Let me tell you something interesting. See those busts on both sides of the path we are walking?"
"Seen them."
Su Ming and the others responded cooperatively.
"Those are all the past principals, but man, the sculptures are so ugly, especially the one on the right—looks so sleazy, sneaky and shady. Definitely not a good person at a glance."
Mia chattered and complained to Su Ming and the others.
Su Ming and everyone else were silenced, no one responding to Mia’s comments—those statues were all of former principals of Imperial Court Academy.
Each one was a historical celebrity, and the particular principal she referred to had even served as the Federation Vice Chairman.
Mia, oblivious to the awkward silence, became even more excited as she spoke.
"Look at that statue over there, big nose, face like a donkey’s..."
...
At that moment, some passing upperclassmen shot strange glances their way.
Rhein and the other students hung their heads, utterly embarrassed.
Fortunately, it wasn’t long before Mia led them to a uniquely shaped building, which looked like a budding flower. It was constructed entirely out of silver metal that shone brilliantly in the sunlight, and the front of the building was clearly marked with the words "Building 1."
Beneath Building 1, tables were set up with stacks of school uniforms in different sizes.
In front of these differing sizes, teachers responsible for distributing the uniforms stood, and beside them sat a stern-looking old man with a slightly stooped posture.
In front of these teachers were various gate-shaped devices.
Teachers of different specialties had brought their students here, where they orderly walked through the gate-shaped devices which precisely measured their heights and generated the appropriate sizes.
Once measured, the students would go to retrieve uniforms of the right sizes from the teachers and then enter the changing rooms in Building 1 to change into their Imperial Court Academy uniforms.
"Move quickly," urged the slightly stooped old man, getting up from his chair to oversee the distribution of the uniforms.
