In the next few days, the elders of the Fox Tribe announced a few changes, leaving most of the Tailed Foxes puzzled.

Although the addition of a Supreme Elder was sudden, it only affected the high-level members of the Fox Tribe, and as such, it didn't receive much attention from the other Tailed Foxes.

What most foxes paid attention to was not this, but the creation of the new religion.

Following the Three-Tails' instructions, the surviving elders of the Fox Tribe began spreading the faith of a new religion, a religion that believed in a Gem Beast.

Unfortunately, because of the lack of information, these elders didn't know much about Chu Wuyao and because of this, the teachings of this religion were quite strange.

According to these teachings, this Gem Beast was said to be the messenger of the Tailed Foxes' Ancestor and had been sent by them to help the Fox Tribe regain their power.

Faced with such teachings, even though the Tailed Foxes were not very smart, they couldn't help but become puzzled, wondering whether somebody was tricking them.

In the end, it required the Sage to step forward and personally confirm that the person responsible for creating this religion was the Fox Queen for the foxes to let down their guard and accept it.

Of course, even then, there were very few Tailed Foxes who chose to believe in this "Messenger" and most of these foxes were very young and weak.

Regardless though, under the iron-blooded methods of the Fox Queen, even if the elders of the Fox Tribe didn't support it, this new religion gradually began spreading.

"So weird... So weird...", a small bird with red feathers stood on a branch of a tree, staring at the small building below with a serious expression.

Even though the building's door and windows had been closed, from the bird's angle, it was able to see through the gaps and find out what was going on inside.

But it was exactly because of this that it felt puzzled.

In its eyes, a bunch of weak foxes had gathered around a stone statue and were kneeling on the ground, mumbling some inexplicable things in a low voice.

"Messenger, please lead our Tribe back to its peak!"

"Messenger, help me no longer get bullied by the other foxes!"

"Messenger..."

Their almost inaudible whispers echoed in the bird's ears and coupled with the scene in front of it, it had to wonder whether the Fox Tribe had been corrupted by some strange being.

The more it looked at this scene, the more serious the bird's "expression" became, until it finally made a decision.

"No! I should inform my King as soon as possible."

"Since the Fox Tribe has been corrupted, then the Peacock Tribe might be in danger too!", the bird thought and its thoughts revealed its true identity.

Surprisingly, this ordinary-looking bird was not a monster belonging to the Three-Tails' territory nor a monster that happened to pass by, but a member of the Peacock Tribe, the tribe ruled by the Green Peacock King that Three-Tails had previously informed Chu Wuyao about.

Unlike the Fox Tribe which only included Tailed Foxes, the Peacock Tribe didn't only include peacocks, but also other types of birds.

It was only because the Green Peacock King was a Peacock Monster that the tribe took such a name.

As a tribe that was primarily composed of bird monsters, the Peacock Tribe was not only famous for its speed, but it also had a large advantage when collecting information, and its intelligence-gathering capabilities were the best out of all the surrounding tribes.

This ordinary-looking bird was not only a member of the Peacock Tribe but also a very important member who was responsible for collecting information regarding the Fox Tribe.

Although it was not very strong and had only just advanced to become a Level 2 Monster, it possessed superb camouflaging abilities and even Three-Tails was clueless about its existence.

"I must make sure that the King learns about this!", the bird thought solemnly, and with a move of its mind, a faint light flew out of its body and rushed towards the distance, flying towards the territory of the Peacock Tribe.

Seeing this, the bird was relieved, knowing that it had already done its best and could now only wait for the tribe to respond.

However, what the bird didn't know was that just when the faint light disappeared from its vision, a bunch of threads made out of silk appeared out of nowhere and tied it up before dragging it away in the opposite direction.

At the deepest end of a large, dark cave that was covered in white webs, a beautiful woman was sitting silently.

The woman had long white hair that reached her waist and wore a long dress made out of silk, while her white eyes and white eyebrows complemented her sharp facial features.

Her face was cold, looking like a piece of ice that would never melt, but not only did this coldness not make this woman less beautiful, but it also made her more attractive, giving her a sense of otherworldly charm that would captivate any man and even woman.

Unfortunately, as long as one lowered their head and took a look at the lower part of her body, they would immediately wake up and be horrified.

This woman didn't have the beautiful, smooth legs that one would expect, but eight long, black legs that shone with a sharp light and were covered in carapace.

At the same time, strands of web were constantly flying out of her abdomen and wandering around the dark cave, making it seem as if an invisible hand was knitting.

From this scene, it was clear that this woman was actually the Web Queen, a famous Spider Monster, and one of the most powerful monsters in this part of the Myriad Demons Forest.

"Soon! Soon!"

"As long as I'm given enough time, I'll be able to advance!"

"Then, no one will have the ability to stop me, whether it is the Fox Queen or the other three guys.", the Web Queen muttered in a low voice, feeling that she was extremely close to breaking through.

In her opinion, it was only a matter of time before she broke through!

Thinking of this, a hint of bloodlust flashed in her eyes, as she was about to close them and turn her focus back on practicing.

However, just then, she seemed to notice something and she raised her head, her gaze piercing through the cave and looking outside.

Under her control, the web that was everywhere in the cave suddenly rioted and a few strands of it flew out of the cave and into the sky, rushing towards the direction of the Fox Tribe.

Seeing the web disappearing, the Web Queen didn't do anything and stood still, showing no signs of moving.

It was only a few minutes later, when the web that she had sent out finally returned that she finally moved and waved her hand again, controlling a faint light to fly toward her and land in her palm.

"What did these stupid birds find again?", the Web Queen whispered as she lowered her head, staring at the light in her hand and going through its contents.

As something that had been sent by a spy, the message was encrypted according to a strange code that only the Green Peacock King was supposed to know, but surprisingly, this didn't seem able to stop her.

In fact, the Web Queen had long been able to break the Peacock Tribe's code, and for a long time, she had been spying on the information they had been collecting.

Over the years, she had been able to discover many things this way and it was one of the reasons why she had been able to have an advantage in the confrontations with the other Kings.

But the moment the Web Queen read the contents of the message in her hand, her expression changed and her face showed a hint of solemnity.

"Have the Fox Tribe's members begun worshipping a strange entity?", the Web Queen thought and couldn't help but wonder what the Fox Queen was doing.

But then, she suddenly remembered something that she had previously ignored.

Some time ago, she had noticed that two powerful monsters were fighting not far away from her territory and had rushed there in a hurry, wanting to see if there was any opportunity to take advantage of their fight.

Unfortunately, the fight had already ended by the time she got there and the two monsters had completely disappeared.

"I did sense the aura of the Fox Queen at the time, but because of how short the two monsters' fight was, I thought that they simply chose to retreat."

"But now, judging from the changes in the Fox Tribe, the condition of the Fox Queen might not be good...", the Web Queen thought and she couldn't help but feel a little nervous.

She had a strong hunch that the changes in the Fox Tribe would never stop there and that sooner or later, they would affect both her and the surrounding tribes.

When she thought of this, the Web Queen wanted to personally go to the Fox Tribe and investigate what happened, but in the end, she decided against it.

"If my guess is true, then going to the Fox Tribe is very dangerous."

"I should first find a way to test what is going on."

Thinking of this, the figure of the other three Kings appeared in her mind, and not long after, she had an answer.

"Although the Green Peacock King and the Purple-Scaled Serpent seem reckless, they are actually very cautious and will never do anything they are not sure of."

"Only that foolish, brainless guy will be willing to test it."
