Pokemon - A real story-Chapter 834: Pseudo-champion rank

It was early in the morning. The sun had just started to rise from the east and it was still dark. Slowemperor was sitting at the beach and the sea water was flowing and touching its feet.

It was looking at the sun and contemplating on how it should train to reach pseudo-champion rank. It was extremely close and if Axel had not set up conditions for its rank up, then it would now be a pseudo-champion rank Pokemon.

Slowemperor had 2 cores. Psychic and ice core. It had boldly decided to concentrate on both of the cores and choose a direction for each of the cores. For psychic core, it was really simple. It would focus on illusions. It had started to concentrate for some time now. So, there was no issue with this.

For the direction of ice, it actually chose 'Snow'. Now, this was even more bold than the previous one. Because Slowemperor had never even mastered any moves regarding this direction.

Its passive 'Frost giant' had recently reached the second stage and the second stage would let it use ice make magic which was also one of the direction of ice core. But it never felt that it could truly master this direction, so it chose snow.

Slowemperor later realized that choosing snow was not a good decision. Because it was very hard to master this direction and the final results may also not be so promising.

But since it had chosen it, it decided to go with it. Its ability Monarch made it impossible to believe that it had made a mistake. It was an emperor. If it had chosen snow, then it would create and manipulate snow to the best of its ability.

So, for the past few months, it had tried to come up with many ways on how it would move towards its new direction. It had also tried to think of many ways to combine both of its directions to have a synergy effect. Till now, it had failed to do so.

Having no success in snow, it first decided to come up with a new pre-domain move for ice type moves. It had decided to start with the basics.

"ICE AGE!!!"

Suddenly, the water that was coming towards it immediately turned in to ice. Even the beach had turned into ice and everything around it had turned into ice. This was its new pre-domain move, called 'Ice Age'.

It had also learned a new move belonging to the snow category called 'Absorption'. This was not the only progress that it had made. It had also upgraded multiple moves belonging to the psychic category and improved its illusion abilities.

As of right now, it just needed to reach the next rank. It was very close to upgrading 'Frost Giant' to Stage III. Once it was done, it would be able to rank up to pseudo-champion rank.

Slowemperor had never thought that it would reach such a stage in its life. This was all possible due to Axel and his talents.

"I need to level up 'Frost Giant'. Let's do it. 'FROST GIANT'!!!", shouted Slowemperor.

Suddenly, its size started to increase. It was now covered in a white-colored icy snow and the surrounding's temperature decreased by a huge chunk. This was the active use of 'Frost Giant'. As the cool-down period was 15 days, it became difficult to level up this move. Passive moves were hard to level up.

Slowemperor closed its eyes and started to turn ice to snow with its expert manipulation. This was the effect that it wanted the next stage to have.

It could clearly feel all the energy inside its body and it tried to use it psychic powers to control it and manipulate it. First it wanted to increase the power of ice type moves in this form.

It used multiple moves like 'Blizzard', 'Icy wind', and 'Chilling water'. It also proceeded to use the move 'Absorption' and 'Hail'. It could feel that it was very close to upgrading this passive move and after 5 minutes, when the effect of 'Frost Giant' was going to be over, it suddenly felt something different. Like a shackle that had been bound it had been undone.

It felt that it could now manipulate ice type energy more fluently than before and it felt that its body had started to change internally.

Axel was suddenly woken up by a huge notification sound of the system.

Axel had totally forgotten that if he forcefully wanted to stop the rank up, he would be faced with a punishment by the system.

He had to be near Slowemperor. He had gathered a lot of resources for Slowemperor which was to be used during the rank up process.

He immediately called Ashmita and asked, "Ashmita, do you know where my Slowemperor is?"

"Yes sir. It was seen on the beach an hour before."

Axel hung up the phone and called out Alakazam.

"Light, take me to the beach immediately.", said Axel.

Axel and Light teleported to the place and everything around there was frozen. The beach, around 40 meters from the sea around Slowemperor. Axel could also see that Slowemperor was ranking up and it was sucking all the energy around the area. This had created a sort of suction of energy that Axel could clearly feel.

Axel hurriedly took out all the items that he had prepared and threw them near Slowemperor. He had some ice gems, psychic gems, a 3000 year old never melt ice, 3000 year old odd incense and some other items.

He had prepared all of them at right quantity and ratio so that these resources would boost Slowemperor's growth.

The ranking up process took some time. Axel and Light waited for Slowemperor to finish its rank up.

It was quite a visual to see the raging blizzard being sucked inside the purple and white glow which was Slowemperor.

After waiting for some time, the glow surrounding Slowemperor died down.

ROOOARRR!!!

Slowemperor gave a powerful roar. It felt like it had been reborn. Everything felt different. Its body was now more powerful and agile. It could feel that it could hold a lot of energy inside its core.

It used its psychic powers and found out that Axel and Light were there waiting for it.

It happily went near Axel and said, "I have ranked up."

"Yes, I am very happy for you. You are the first to rank up in my team. I am proud of you, Magnus."

(Level 45): The duration of the rain dance has increased to level 10 minutes.

(Level 50): The Rain is heavier and sharper than before.

(Level 55): The power of the move has increased. The user has to utilize less stamina and the effect of the move has increased too. There is a trace of ice while using the move.

(Level 60): The move would also increase the power of ice-type move by 50%.

(Level 65): The area effect and the duration of the move have increased. With the combination of 'Hail', a mini blizzard is created that would heighten water and ice-type moves. Also, helps the user to hide.

Chilling water (Slowemperor) (Level 40): The water now has the power to freeze water

(Level 45): It could freeze the water very fast.

(Level 50): It has the power to manipulate the icy water to its advantage

(Level 55): The power of the move has increased. The user has to utilize less stamina and the effect of the move has increased too. The speed of the move has increased.

(Level 60): Has a higher chance of freezing the movements of the target. Makes the target slower.

Slack off (Slowemperor) (Level 40): It could recover 30% of its max HP 1 time

(Level 45): It could recover 40% of its max HP 1 time

(Level 50): It could recover 50% of its max HP 1 time

(Level 55): It could now recover 60% of its max HP 1 time.

(Level 60): It could now recover 50% of its max HP 2 times.

Stored power (Slowemperor) (Level 40): It can hold more power inside it while using the stored power.

(Level 45): It can separately store the power inside it and can use it collectively for devastating effects.

(Level 50): When the status move is forcefully deactivated, stored power could store 50% of the remaining power of the status move and store it. Before it could only store 10% of the power and that power would be deducted from the effect of the status move. After receiving the 50% of the power, it would have used this move within 2 minutes.

(Level 55): The power of this move would increase after sacrificing a weather move.

(Level 60): Can redirect the stored power in any attacking move.

Confusion (Slowemperor) (Level 40): It has 20% chance to confuse the target.

(Level 45): It has 30% chance of confusing the target

(Level 50): If the target is confused, there is a high chance that the target would be inside the illusion.

(Level 55): There is a high chance that a Pokemon would enter the illusion.

(Level 60): Whenever the target inside the illusion receives an attack, there is a 50% chance that the effect will be in reality. The effect of the attack inside the illusion will only be 50%.

Psychic burst (Slowemperor) (Level 40): There will be 5 small, almost invisible bulb of psychic energy around the area and the user could manipulate it to hit the target.

(Level 45): If the target is going to come out of the illusion, using this move would have a higher chance of making the target remain inside the illusion.

Ice beam (Slowemperor) (Level 40): It could shoot Ice beams at larger distances.

(Level 45): The power of ice beam would increase while using 'Rain dance'

(Level 50): The power of the move has increased. The user has to utilize less stamina and the effect of the move has increased too. The speed of the move has increased. Have a high chance of freezing the target.

(Level 55): The move would decrease the speed of the target and also cause a cold burn.

Psybeam (Slowemperor) (Level 40): If the move is hit, then there is a 30% chance that the target will be confused.

(Level 45): The speed and the power of the move have increased.

(Level 50): Can send out 3 psychic beams to the target or multiple targets.

Substitute (Slowemperor) (Level 40): The substitute has 30% of the stats of the user and can use all the moves except for the psychic domain.

(Level 45): The user will only lose 30% of its stats while creating it and the substitute will have 50% of the stats of the user.

(Level 50): After the substitute disappears, the user will temporarily gain 15% of the stats back.

(Level 55): Can create 2 substitutes instead of one. One will use psychic-type moves while the other will use ice-type moves.

Frost Giant (Slowemperor):

Stage I: Mastery speed and the power of ice-type moves will increase by 20%. The user can actively use the move 'Frost Giant' where the size of the user would increase by 1.5 times. During that time, the defense and special defense of the user would be heightened to a high degree. The cooldown period for using it actively is 1 month.

Stage II: Mastery speed and the power of ice-type moves will increase by 50%. Gives the power to use Ice make magic. Active use of this move would increase the defense and special defense and also the power of ice-type moves. The cool-down period for using it actively is 15 days.

Stage III: Gives the user the capability to create and manipulate snow. The special defense and physical defense of the user is heightened passively. The power of ice-type move would increase. All the excess energy while actively using this move would be stored and can be used later. The cool-down period for actively using this move is 7 days.

Blizzard (Slowemperor) (Level 40): The power and the furiosity of the move had increased. It can also be focused to be used on a single direction which would increase its power even more.

(Level 45): Has a high chance of freezing the target.

(Level 50): Has a chance to cause a cold burn to the target.

Icy Wind (Slowemperor) (Level 40): The power of this move would increase if it is used after using the move 'Hail'. The chance to freeze the target would increase.

(Level 45): Using this move during 'Hail', the icy aura of the move would suck the life of the enemy slowly which would decrease its health. Can be activated for 8 minutes.

Hail (Slowemperor) (Level 40): The area and the time of the move has increased. Has a slight chance of freezing the target and the temperature would drop instantly.

(Level 45): Using this move to the limit has a chance to create a massive pile of snow and can be used to create an avalanche.
