Perfect Avatar-Chapter 272: Titandrop: Fenrir VS Fafnir
Chapter 272: Titandrop: Fenrir VS Fafnir
The black wings gave way to a colossal blow, topped by a growing, molten chair stump.
A gelatinous material emerged from it, and beneath it, flesh covered a bony structure, fusing together to form the skull of the giant dragon.
Head pointed skyward, wings spread across the width of the island, Fafnir uttered a high-pitched roar, making the air vibrate and the earth tremble.
Lightning tore through the darkened sky, lava covered the frozen ground.
The King of Dragons stared at the intruders, his red eyes glinting with misfortune.
Dora and Rhea breathed a little, their movements identical like a reflection in the mirror, then, their eyes turned black, covering their bright irises with their assigned color.
"Sanctification of Greed: Avarice"
"Sanctification of Pride: Vainglory"
Their pressure engulfed the entire island in an instant, mixing the red and black color of the air with white.
Fafnir’s jaws creaked open, emitting a metallic growl that reverberated through the air. The red light illuminated his menacing teeth as Dora and Rhea leaped into action. In a swift and powerful strike, the king of dragons’ head vanished in a burst of blinding light.
The explosion shook the horizon, creating a gigantic wave in the ocean on the other side.
Rhea appeared above the dragon’s body, while Dora stopped behind, focused on the sky.
Eva, keeping her eyes closed, frowned.
"First wave."
The black knights and elite fighters surged forward with unstoppable force. Lucca leaped from the cliff, triggering her metamorphosis, as thunderous roars echoed from above. A multitude of dragons, each unique in size and shape, burst through the clouds and descended towards the earth, and an equal number of black holes appeared on their backs.
The black knights fell on the beasts, thanks to Dora’s magic, and without even landing, they delivered a prism of attacks.
Some dragons have lost a wing, part of their neck, or any other limb, most injured, but alive.
The knights fell into the void but immediately landed on numerous platforms created by Marie.
In the air, she focused an immense amount of energy to create a dome and prevent the dragon army from reaching Fafnir.
A new impact shook the earth, Rhea having slashed again. Fafnir’s body was buried under an explosion of ice, but his body turned red and glowed brightly.
Rhea frowned, she glanced back and prepared another blow, but didn’t land the blow, falling in the air with the same stance, then, the energy wave came out.
Fafnir exploded, just like two years ago, releasing a red dome engulfing everything, but just as he was about to reach Rhea, the General disappeared, replaced by Dora.
The dome engulfed him, expanding in a destructive ray with tenfold power, and... Stopping growing at all.
The dome continued to produce energy but stopped expanding. From a distance, the sight was disconcerting, but up close it was more noticeable.
Dora burst through the dome, energy converging towards him, the light of the blue particles glowing as it made contact with the explosion.
"As expected... It really works..."
Above, the Dark Knights romped with the dragons, slashing, disappearing, then reappearing, all thanks to the dimensional hole, and in the midst of the chaos, Sigma wielded this power like a conductor.
All the black knights and elite fighters took their momentum.
Lucca jumped off the cliff and initiated his transformation, at the same time, several roars could be heard beyond the clouds. ƒгeewebnovёl.com
Hundreds of dragons of different sizes and types tore through the smoke and rushed towards the ground, and an equal number of black holes appeared on their backs.
Darkness fell on the beasts, thanks to Dora’s magic, and without even landing, they delivered a prism of attacks.

Dora burst through the dome, energy converging towards it, the light of the blue particles glowing as it made contact with the explosion.
"As expected... It really works..."
The explosion was getting absorbed by Avarice, with such intensity that the dome was decreasing in size visibly, and despite being right in contact, Dora was unaffected, or rather, the attack couldn’t touch him.
To anyone else, it was a terrifying show of power, but every feat had a hidden truth, and Dora was a master at concealing it.
Above, the Dark Knights romped with the dragons, slashing, disappearing, then reappearing, all thanks to the dimensional gaps, and in the midst of the chaos, Sigma wielded this power like a conductor.
Out of 6 variants, only 2 Personas faced each other, a pattern which became their signature, at the slightest opportunity, Marie observed them to understand how their power worked, but there was not enough time to make a good observation.
A barrage of Gatling cannons ravaged many dragons in the sky, Sigma created black holes above the black knights to secure them, then a larger, gigantic one above the army.
A shadow emerged, taking the form of the Wolf Demon, her mouth wide open.
She landed on the back of a Dragon, knocking the beast off balance and sending it towards the bottom where Marie’s dome was covered in black lightning from Zury and machine guns from Giudecca.
The 4 worked together in multiple attacks, with Lucca jumping from hole to hole sending the Dragons into the dome, lightning paralyzing the beasts, and parasitizing Giudecca’s attacks, which in turn fired a barrage of beams spreading horizontally instead of shooting towards the sky.
This resulted in the creation of a second dome of ray, ravaging the Dragons trapped by Zury. The whole process was similar to a fly trap and was deadly effective.
The earth shook once more, after another attack from Rhea, the spectacle was not a battle, but an execution.
In the sky, Sigma’s eyes suddenly turned orange. He scanned the space and the dragon in an instant, then snapped his fingers.
The black holes swallowed up everyone in the sky and sent them onto the cliff behind Zury and Eva.
They all stared at the sky where a new change was taking place, the dragons were flying like vultures around Sigma, but the latter was in a trance.
Eva raised her head, her ears twitching.
"Second wave."
Around, hundreds of dragons were filling the sky and surrounding areas, all unable to reach Fafnir due to the dome of doom.
The Persona’s eyes widened, and then, he assumed the pose of sword fingers.
"Targets locked."
Dora opened his hand, revealing a glowing red ball, and at the same time, a black mark formed on each dragon.
Eva opened her eyes for the first time, hypnotized by the red ball.
"...Wrath?"
Dora clenched his fist and crushed the ball, instantly, the mark on each dragon glowed, and one by one, the mark exploded.
At first, there were several red spheres, then gradually the sky changed color again.
The spectacle covered everything the eyes could see, space, atmosphere, everything was drowned in a web of explosions.
On the ground, Fafnir sent a beam of energy at Dora, with success.
The beam reached him and passed through him, but after its passage, the boy was still in great shape.
"...Is the gap really that big against an Avatar?" Giudecca murmured.
Dora’s case was becoming more and more troubling in everyone’s minds, it wasn’t that they didn’t expect him to dominate his opponent, but Dora had a particular way of behaving when he was in a winning position: he stopped trying, he stopped defending himself and let his opponent try everything they could, without taking any damage, but the moment he would retaliate, the result would be terrifying.
He was strong, and he had shown it by exterminating an army of dragons and taking several beams head-on with no effort.
For Fenrir, it was the first time they had seen something be a perfect match for their general.
In the sky, the red sphere revealed a cloud of shiny soul stones, all converging toward Sigma.
Fafnir stood on his legs, his mouth glowing, but this time Lucca struck him at great speed, the two Titans roaring at each other.
A giant black vector pierced Fafnir from behind, the beast roared again and turned to see Dora.
He tried to rush towards it, but the chains materialized around him and restricted his movements.
He struggled like a mad animal, but another blow cut off his second wing.
Rhea and Dora’s eyes had returned to normal, a sign that they had both stopped using sanctification, for the same reason: it was over.
Dora hovered above the beast, watching his very first nightmare struggle.
"...Hard to believe it’s the same monster as that day, but the tables are turned."
Fafnir’s situation was hopeless, Zury was preventing him from regenerating and switching to his second form, stuck in his fast mode, his tanking ability had greatly diminished, he was strong, infinitely strong, but his opponents were the silver and the golden throne.
"...You made me discover hell, so it’s only normal to return the favor, and thanks to you, I know a little more about her power, so... No hard feelings."
He slowly spread his arms, Fafnir struggling more on the ground, his body stumbling several times.
Rhea joined Giudecca on Lucca’s back, everyone was carefully observing the phenomenon.
A red orb reappeared, glowing menacingly in front of Dora’s face.
"This is a sample of an attack I kept alive for days, there should be enough here to erase you out completely, even with your regeneration."
The ball converged on his fingers and turned into red particles.
"Farewell."
He unleashed the particles in the direction of Fafnir, the energy cascading down onto Fafnir, and as soon as the particles made contact, they started to expand, taking the shape of a sphere, expanding continuously to envelop the beast.
"Law: fuse with any flesh particles and turn them to energy."
The sphere imploded, giving the island a final red tint.
