Chapter 33 - 33: Where Did His Health Bar Go?!

Daffino's camp was now just ahead, and the battle with Darkstar Alliance had reached a fever pitch.

"Team 2 took one down!"

"Team 3's target is nearly down too!"

Before long, two of the Star 2 Hyenamen collapsed, and Teams 2 and 3 regrouped with Team 1. Despite Daffino's high attack and massive HP pool, DSA's elite team had managed to survive by kiting the boss until reinforcements arrived. With two squads backing them up, the core team finally had a chance to breathe and heal with recovery potions.

A few minutes later, good news came in from the other side. Teams 4 and 5 had cleared their targets and joined forces with Team 8 to help take down the remaining waves with Teams 6 and 7.

"Pull Daffino out! Don't drag in the nearby mobs!" The guild leader's voice rang with excitement.

The pull team did their job flawlessly, drawing Daffino out cleanly without aggroing the remaining monsters.

"Beautiful!"

Victory was in sight.

"Team 8, step up and tank for now. Spread out the damage—everyone else, heal!"

AishaDoll popped a potion and beamed at her viewers. "We finally got him out—Daffino is in the open! Victory is right there! We've been at this for over two and a half hours, I could honestly cry right now..."

Forty players surrounded Daffino. His 1150 HP ticked down slowly, but numbers were on their side.

As the boss's health inched lower, over 200,000 viewers held their breath, watching in tense anticipation.

"It's really gonna die. I wonder if Daffino always drops Cragstone."

"DSA's no joke—no other guild has managed to down Daffino yet."

"Not all of these guys are DSA. I heard two squads are streamers and one is a whale team. No way they'd clear this without help."

"Their coordination is insane. Look at the aggro and health management—everyone's health bars are evenly spread. Their control is god-tier. And during the trash clear? Not one mispull with 40 people in that tiny area. That's execution."

"Yeah, now we know how to clear it ourselves."

"...Wait, what's that over there? It's moving fast... coming this way?"

Several viewers noticed something strange approaching from the side.

It looked like a Hyenaman, but not quite. Its lower half resembled a massive spider, and it was darting across the field on eight long, spindly legs.

"What the hell is that thing?!"

As the creature closed in, people finally saw the name hovering above it.

AishaDoll caught it in her peripheral vision—how could she not? Its name was so long, it stretched out three whole meters in green text.

She froze, staring blankly. "Elite... Special Sturdy... Special Agile... Special Robust Hyenaman Commander... Scarface Karl?! What... is that thing..."

Isaac saw Daffino's health bar dip below one-third and his heart jumped.

"Hang on, Daffino! I'm coming!"

Good thing Daffino was just a mob. Otherwise, he might be pretty annoyed—after all, wasn't this the same guy who had farmed him nonstop? Now he was racing to his rescue?

DSA's leader VoidHunter noticed Isaac too, and he was stunned for a moment.

Why was a freaky spider-Hyenaman hybrid charging into their boss fight?

But he recovered quickly. As DSA's top strategist, VoidHunter made a snap call.

"Don't panic! That's clearly one of Daffino's abilities. He summons help when he drops below 30% HP!"

"Summons are never stronger than the boss. Just keep focusing Daffino!"

The chat quickly ran with this theory.

"So Daffino summons Scarface Karl at 30%—got it!"

"Kind of weird the summon came from far away though."

"Actually that's kinda nice—it gives players time to react."

"Yeah, if it's just a summon, it'll go down fast."

Isaac, unaware that he had been labeled a "summon," charged in—only to be blocked by two full squads.

He finally reached the battle, only to be surrounded.

"Why does a summon need such a long-ass name? Aegis is trolling."

"God, this thing is ugly."

"It's huge—over three meters tall, taller than Daffino!"

A player named DSA-Hex shouted, "Stop yapping! We're almost done—no mistakes now. Keep it away from the raid!"

He rushed Isaac with confidence. Thanks to DSA's expert healing rotations, he still had about 250 HP left. Not even Daffino could one-shot him at that point.

DSA-Hex roared as he brought his Hyenaman Club crashing down on one of Isaac's spider legs.

"You're not stopping DSA! Die!"

A loud THUD!

The entire stream froze.

"Minus one... did he just do one damage? Or... did he not even break defense?"

"Am I seeing things? That thing has over two thousand HP?!"

"There's no way—a summon has more health than the boss?"

As viewers tried to wrap their heads around it, a few veteran players finally spoke up.

"SeveredSky," a known figure in AishaDoll's chat and guild leader of IceCloud's Team 5, typed confidently:

"My guess is high physical defense. It's built to stall players."

"Right. It's not supposed to be killed—just disrupts the fight. As long as they keep calm, DSA's got this."

"VoidHunter's got good XP Orbs. He won't lose his head now. They'll take Daffino down."

"Let's be real—without allies, DSA wouldn't have gotten this far anyway."

With pros chiming in, the chat settled.

Sure, it was an ugly summon, but a summon nonetheless. How bad could it be?

Then the "summon" struck back.

One of its massive front legs whipped forward like a lance, stabbing straight into DSA-Hex.

-202 (Critical Hit), -60 (Poison)

"...Wait... his health bar... it just vanished?!"

And with DSA-Hex, many others vanished too.

All the so-called veteran analysts in chat? Quiet. Gone.

A summon with ultra-high defense was one thing.

But one that could one-shot a player with 250 HP?

The entire stream fell deathly silent.
